The Emperor's Heart Port

The Emperor's Heart Port
Episode 6 of Xaxa's Success

The school corridor. Take a break 15 minutes before the last lesson.

Right after the fourth lesson, Xaxa received a phone call from Mutiara Cinta High School. And now, he was smiling happily while staring at his friend who was no less happy. Syifa even pranced cheerfully so happy to see Xaxa managed to enter the favorite High School that was targeted by many students in his area.

"What I say is true. You must have made it in. Ah, it's nice to be MC's son. I'm so jealous of you, Xa. If only my brain was smart, I would definitely fight for the test like you. But yes due to mediocrity, I'm happy enough to see you now." Syifa was very proud of Xaxa.

"Thank you, Syif. I'm excited because you're so supportive of what I'm doing. I'm so happy to have a friend like you." Xaxa said with a facial expression that this time looked unhappy like he was thinking about something.

Syifa who was so sensitive to the changes in the facial expression of Xaxa, immediately chimed in. "Are you really happy to have a friend like me?"

"Obviously I'm happy. We've known each other since childhood. Does my attitude seem dubious?" Xaxa smiled in front of Syifa.

"Then why did your facial expression look unhappy when you said it? Is something troubling you now?" Syifa looked closely at her best friend. Smiling probing, "Don't tell me that you won't be taking the scholarship?" Xaxa. He turned his eyes away from Syifa.

Seeing how Xaxa turned his face away from him was enough to reinforce Syifa's guesses of directly bombarding Xaxa with his words.

"What's really going on, Xa? Why did you change your mind. Wasn't that time you were so excited to get her. Why your heart is changing now. Your chance to enter and get a scholarship at MC is only this time. Are you sure you'll just let it go after you've been trying to fight for it. I don't want you to be disappointed, Xa?" Syifa spoke at length without giving Xaxa a chance to interrupt her.

After a long sigh, Xaxa began to speak, "I haven't answered anything." Xaxa gently stroked Syifa's arm that was hugging her body from the side. She loved Syifa like a sister. Despite having the same age, Syifa always looks childish when with her.

"What is the real answer. Not to reject it, right?" Syifa asked with a pouting facial expression to show her disapproval if Xaxa would actually refuse her scholarship.

"I'm just-"

Dddrr.. Dddrr..

Just as Xaxa was about to tell Syifa the problem, suddenly a vibrating tone indicating an incoming call rang on Syifa's phone.

"Awhile, Xa. Someone called me." Syifa took out her phone from her uniform pocket and saw whose number she was contacting at this time.

After seeing the name of the caller listed on his phone screen, Syifa reflexes dodged when Xaxa was about to see the screen of his phone.

"Who's phone, Syif?" Xaxa said in a soft voice staring at Syifa

Not wanting to make Xaxa suspicious, Syifa put her phone in her uniform pocket.

"Who else if not from my fucking ex." Said lying.

With a mocking laugh Xaxa spoke, "So Rafa is still bothering you? I thought he'd given up after the show that night."

"I think the same as you. But strangely he still keeps calling me." Syifa tried to convince Xaxa.

"Emmm.. I want to go to the toilet for a minute, Xa. You go first to class." Say Syifa while stepping away from Xaxa. Xaxa, who had no suspicions, followed Syifa's words to enter the classroom first.

And what is happening is that Syifa is looking for the most comfortable place to talk to someone who is contacting her right now. After getting a room or place away from the students who were wandering in the last break, Syifa finally took out a cell phone in her pocket that was still connected to someone who contacted her at this time.

"Hello, Xaxa's father."

"Xaxa's not on your side, is it?" Ask Xaxa's father to make sure.

And yes, the one who contacted Syifa at this time was Xaxa's father. When he saw the phone call from Xaxa's father whose name was clearly displayed on the screen of his cellphone, Syifa also had read a short message from his father Xaxa who asked him to stand away from Xaxa. There is something important to tell him.

"Alright, thank you Syifa."

"Together, Father." Syifa had been calling her father Xaxa since childhood, even before she entered kindergarten school. Her father Xaxa who was so friendly immediately attracted Syifa's attention to call her Father. While on his own biological parents, Syifa called him Papah.

Silent. The two fell silent for a moment. Syifa was silent because she was waiting for what her father Xaxa would say. While his father Xaxa was silent while holding back his cries, powerless to open his voice to explain.

"Xaxa Father. Sorry for the important thing you wanted to say to Syifa what is it?" He asked immediately because he could not hear the voice of his father Xaxa.

While his father Xaxa is now adjusting his breath first before finally saying, "Xaxa's mother died"

Deg, What?

Syifa who was so surprised and did not expect to round her eyes.

"It must be wrong, right, Dad? Isn't Xaxa's mom okay and will soon be able to go home?" Syifa said, knowing the news from Xaxa himself. While Xaxa knew it from his father who deliberately lied only to not make his son worry about the condition of his mother.

"Dad lied to Xaxa. I thought, Mom Xaxa will soon be fine with the handling of the doctor. And Xaxa didn't have to worry because the lie was only for a short while. But the truth is destiny says something else. Fate has brought my wife to leave me." Xaxa's father said as he cried sobbing. His struggle to get his wife healed and re-assembled together again in the house was lost by his departure.

Syifa must have cried. Can't imagine what if Xaxa found out about this.

Syifa entered the classroom with the teacher who was going to teach her at the last hour. The teacher's mother did not immediately sit in her place, but walked over to Xaxa and Syifa who of course immediately sat beside Xaxa.

"Congratulations for the scholarship you have already won. I'm proud of your achievements." The teacher smiled and looked at Xaxa. While the reaction of Xaxa's classmates who did not know about this was so surprised to hear it. They talk to each other, making the class situation rowdy.

"Don't be noisy, kids. I don't want to get to the class next to us to feel distracted." The teacher was calming.

"Yes, Mom." Saying simultaneously.

"Emm, but Mom. What scholarships does Xaxa get? Is he going out of the country?" Said a man sitting in the front row.

The teacher shook her head, "Xaxa will attend Mutiara Cinta High School."

"What?" Say all of Xaxa's friends with surprised expressions except Syifa who already knows everything.

"Xaxa wants to be MC's son? Wh why? School is our school's rival."

"Yes. Why choose the Pearl of Love, Xa. Since every inter-school basketball game, our school has always been defeated by Mutiara Cinta High School. I have no problem and accept it. It's just that I don't like their style that looks so arrogant!"

"Yes right, Xa. Why not choose another school. Are you going to be our enemy too."

"Not to overdo it. Xaxa can't possibly think of us as enemies. Life is not too drama, it's ordinary." Syifa did not like her friends to comment too much on Xaxa's decision.

"I hope you're happy there. Let this feeling be kept alone. I'm happy enough to see you smile every day." The inner person who sits in the front row, who first asks the teacher a question.
