The Destiny of Love Zi Wei

The Destiny of Love Zi Wei
Chapter 28

Due to his busy schedule, Shen Jun did not realize that it had been two days since Zi Wei would no longer set his schedule. Although not in the same city, Zi Wei was still willing to reply to messages or pick up the phone when the artist asked for help. Hence, Shen Jun was unaware of Zi Wei's departure from his tenure.

And then Jun realized that Zi Wei was no longer in the office when one of the deputy managers brought him a list of album promotion events that would be attended by Shen Jun after the release of his third album.

"Why did you bring this, Miss?" reprimanded Shen Jun was unhappy that someone else had come to his music studio.

Shen Jun was rarely seen in Big Star Entertainment, which was why Jun did not know of Zi Wei's absence.

"During Miss Wei's time off, I was assigned by her to help address your programs, Mr. Shen."

"The holidays? Miss Wei? Since when? Why didn't you tell me?" Shen Jun closed the list of contracts in front of him and left his studio.

"Tu-shen, where are you going? I'll drive you!" Tan Ming shouted following Shen Jun to the Lexus LX, his SUV.

"There's something I have to do!"

"But .. You have to prepare some speeches for the launch later." prevent Shen Jun's temporary manager.

"Close your mouth! do you know if I've been paying you all this time?" shen Jun snapped without turning his head in the slightest towards those who were worried about him.

Shen Jun drove his vehicle to Big Star Entertainment. He wanted to ascertain when and what reason had put Zi Wei on leave. Not only that, Shen Jun also tried to contact the woman.

"Did he avoid me because of yesterday's live statement? Or did he realize that I was .. ahhh!" Shen Jun shouted at the car he was in because Zi Wei never picked up his call.

It was only when Jun arrived at the Big Star that the man began to change his facial water because Shen Jun did not want to be photographed by paparazzi that could take random pictures.

Jun walked quickly to the staff to ask about Zi Wei's leave. Not a few servants doubted the reason Shen Jun wanted to know to such a depth.

"Miss Wei has just taken her leave of absence, so far she has been active in working until not having a holiday during the Chinese new year" the person in charge of attendance said.

Not getting a proper answer in the form of the reason Zi Wei was on leave, Shen Jun rushed to Zi Wei's rental house. Who knows, the woman intends to be lazy at home.

However, what Shen Jun wanted again got away with, the building security had confirmed that their Miss Wei had not been seen coming home for two days.

"Two days?" Shen Jun repeated the old guard's reply earlier

There was no news at all, making Shen Jun extremely worried about Zi Wei. Of course, because Shen Jun had promised himself that he would keep the woman until the point of Death that separated them.

It was fortunate that Shen Jun had come across something. Jun recalled that Zi Wei had a journalist friend who often shared stories with him. Yes, Do Ruan.

Ruan Ruan was Zi Wei's friend in times of joy and sorrow. And that way, Shen Jun would get a bit of information regarding Zi Weinya's whereabouts.

Shen Jun came to Miss Do's workplace to ask the senior journalist for Zi Wei's whereabouts.

"Wei Wei's? Fleeing?" asked Ruan who was so surprised and thought that Zi Wei was running away from her job.

All this time Do Ruan knew that his best friend was always in charge of the job, so "Where might he run away?"

"You must've covered him, because I know what my friend looks like." The two whispered in a closed place so that Shen Jun would not be bothered by fellow journalist Do Ruan.

"Where I know, you're the only one closest to Wei Wei, Miss Do." Shen Jun said.

"Where?" Shen Jun's eyes were no less sparkling as soon as Do Ruan claimed to know of Zi Wei's existence. He's so grateful.

Ruan Ruan gave a piece of paper containing an address to Shen Jun. Not wanting to waste too much time, Shen Jun immediately departed to the address that was now in his hands.

According to Do Ruan's explanation, Zi Wei was now in her hometown. "He will commemorate the death of his father."

The distance between Chengdu and Beijing which is almost 2,000 km will be conquered by Shen Jun. The man instantly booked a flight this time as well towards where the Zi Wei family came from.

"I didn't even have time to bring anything for his parents," Shen Jun lamented as he recalled being empty-handed with no ammunition to subdue Zi Wei and her family.

Flights for 3 hours are more smoothly traversed by Shen Jun. Occasionally Shen Jun tidied up her performance before the plane actually landed pretty in Chengdu district.

The fresh rustic atmosphere with its mountain breeze can be felt in Chengdu. Modernity does not make Chengdu lose the beauty of its past. Although not as crowded as big cities like Beijing or Shanghai, Chengdu also has high mobility.

Shen Jun continued his journey to Zi Wei's house with a taxi he had booked.

Right in front of the address inscribed on the note from Do Ruan, Shen Jun saw an old grandfather standing in front of a wooden fence carved with peacocks.

"Who are you looking for?" he rebuked Shen Jun whom he felt like a stranger for never being seen in this area.

"I'm looking for him!" shen Jun replied as he showed a picture of Wu Zi Wei sweetly.

"Oh ... This girl?"

Grandfather pulled Shen Jun's hand to make the man jump up to follow the old man into the house.

"Wei er, you naughty boy! see who's coming?" With a tricked step the grandfather led Shen Jun into the house whose address was on the paper earlier.

From inside came two women who looked busy with each other.

"Mr Shen?"

"June Xiao?"

The two women were agape at Shen Jun's arrival at their home.

"Snick girl, are you going to just shut up to see your husband coming?" Grandfather snapped at Zi Wei until his wooden stick was pointed at Zi Wei.

"Husband?" reprimand Zi Wei.

"Zi Wei, your grandfather is acting up again," Madame Su patted her head because of her father's senile habit.

"A wife should not get angry and leave the house for more than 3 days" he added.

"Vivhaiyaaak ... "
