The Destiny of Love HanAra

The Destiny of Love HanAra
I should have been there

A song titled perfect owned by Ed Sheeran echoed in the ballroom in one of the luxury hotels. Accompanying a pair of brides who were dancing with a radiant face. Hundreds of pairs of eyes were on the two happy brides. No exception pair of eyes belonged to a man named Farhan. The man who was currently sitting in the corner of the room did not escape looking at the bride. Especially the bride, who incidentally is a former lover of Farhan. Yes, that woman is Dinda. The woman who two weeks ago decided to end their relationship.

For a few minutes Farhan continued to stare at the scene not far from his eyes. However, his gaze looked empty. Apparently the man who is often greeted by Han is hallucinating that he is the one who is currently a bride with Dinda. He imagined the middle of dancing with his wife who looks very beautiful like a queen with a sequin-studded dress and also a tiara that adorns the tip of her head.

I should have been there. Stand beside you and dance with you, Dinda.

For a few minutes Farhan was still lulled in his daydream. Until finally a pat on the shoulder managed to resuscitate him.

Farhan was looking for someone who patted him on the back. When he looked, he found a beautiful girl standing right behind him. The girl smiled, showing off her white teeth.

"Hi" said the girl.

That girl is Ara. She was wearing a sleeveless dress along the knee. Her long hair was rolled upwards, giving her a white neck.

"Can I sit next to you?" asked Ara who was carrying a plate of food in her left hand.

"Sure, please," said Farhan.

"Thank you." Ara pulled the chair in front of her backwards. Then he went around the chair and sat his body there, right next to Farhan. Then put the plate containing the food he had brought on the table.

Farhan replied with a nod of his head. Then refocused staring at the two brides who looked increasingly friendly. The groom several times kissed his wife's forehead and cheeks alternately. Then kissed the lips of the wife with lightning followed by boisterous applause and also the cheers of the invited guests. The action succeeded in making the bride blush in shame.

While Farhan was seen to turn his eyes when the procession took place. The handsome man lowered his head, hiding his troubled face. Both of his eyes looked teary.

"Is that woman the one who's looking, Brother?" ask Ara in between her chews.

Farhan turned his head, looking at the girl next to him.

"Do you know me?" farhan asked a little surprised.

"Didn't my brother remember me?" saut Ara, ask back.

Farhan shook his head. "Have we met before?"

God, it seems like he really deserves to be called grandpa. Though handsome, still young but dear, already senile.

"Not just ever, but we've met a few times. Brother even lent me a jacket, ", explained Ara.

"Jacket?" Farhan tried to remember. After a few seconds, he remembered the incident the other day. When he gave a jacket to someone. However, he sure gave the jacket to someone else. A High School student, not to the woman who is currently beside him.

Farhan turned his head, looking at all parts of Ara's body. From the tip of his head to the tip of his feet who was then wearing high heels. Then back up looking at Ara's face. He looked familiar with the big eyes and also the girl's thin lips.

"Are you the girl sitting in front of that movie theater?" tanya Farhan.

Ara nodded. "Did you remember now?"

Farhan nodded.

"I'm also the one you used to throw with a can of soft drinks" explained Ara with a small laugh.

Farhan also chuckled, remembering the incident a few weeks ago.

"I told you I didn't do it on purpose" he said in self-defense.

"So, are you really that high school girl?" farhan asked, pretending not to be sure.

"Do I need to show you a student card, so you can trust me?"

"Did you bring him?" farhan asked again pretending to be curious. Although he already knew that the girl could not take him. Because what he saw was that the girl did not even carry a bag or wallet.

"But, you should be able to recognize me by remembering this face," he added.putting both palms under his chin while patting both cheeks.

So did Farhan. The man who at that time wore a turtle neck shirt wrapped in a navy blue suit was also changing his sitting position. Until now the two sit facing each other. He looked at Ara. Tracing every corner of the girl's face. Starting from his forehead. Then down to the eyes of the belo and also the nose of his nose. Until finally stopped at the red lips blushing Ara who looked seductive. "Your eyes and nose do look the same as that girl. But still, you and the girl are different" Farhan said. This time he was honest. Ara's appearance when wearing school uniforms and without makeup does look different when compared to her current appearance.

Ara looked confused herself. In his heart he asked why Farhan did not recognize himself.

Could it be because I'm wearing makeup? so I look different?

Ara immediately picked up her phone that she had placed on the table. Then he pointed the phone at his face. And how surprised he was when he saw his own face.

"Jeez, Sister Sania!" pekik. How not, because of his brother-in-law's actions that make his face look like aunty. Yes, the one who was crying was Sania, the wife of Samsul, Ara's first brother. When and after in the makeup Ara did not see a mirror at all. He entrusted everything to his pregnant sister-in-law. Until now he only realized that his makeup was too thick and also red lipsticks blushed like blood. Farhan did not recognize himself. Because he does look very different from makeup like now.

Ara grabbed the tissue that was on the table. Then rub the thin, soft paper to his lips to remove the color of lipstick that has been stuck perfectly.

"Hey, why did you remove your makeup?" ask Farhan.

Ara stopped her activities. He lowered the tissue from his lips until it appeared that the color was slightly fading. Yeah, just a little.

"How can I not remove it. My lips are like a dracula that just drank blood" he said. After that, he rubbed his lips. This time he rubbed it rough. I wish the color on her lips would disappear faster. However, whether what lipstick is applied to his lips, it feels very difficult to clean.

"And Brother should also know because this stupid makeup also makes me look very different" he added.

Farhan reached out, grabbed Ara's hand and tried to stop the girl's actions.

"Stop it, don't delete it" said Farhan softly.

Ara lowered her hand, obeying the words of the man before her.

"Why?" tanyakanya.

"Pretty."

"Didn't I look old?" ask Ara.

"No. You don't look old at all just look a little more mature" Farhan explained.

"And one more thing you should know. Tonight you look really pretty.

Ara blushed hearing it. Both of his cheeks looked blushing. Especially when Farhan rubbed the tip of his lips, cleaning the lipstick. Suddenly he felt like he was electrocuted. His body feels frozen. Unlike his heart that seemed to be running. Until he woke up when he felt out of breath. Even after Farhan finished wiping his lips he turned his face away, not daring to look at the handsome man.

What's wrong with me. Why am I like this.

Ara held onto her chest. He still felt his irregular heartbeat.

While Farhan seemed to smile, looking at the behavior before him. However, his smile instantly vanished. When someone approaches them both.
