CHAPTER 4. Dian disappeared

***Stefan's office space in Bramasta Company***

Luis stared at the open document suitcase on Stefan's desk. Luis knew for sure the total amount of money in the suitcase of the document because every month Luis in charge of delivering fifty million rupiah in cash to Dian.

"Mrs Dian did not use a single dollar given by Mr. Stefan" Luis said.

All the money was in one piece and neatly arranged in the document suitcase as it was when Luis handed it over to Dian. The document suitcase was indeed provided by Luis on Stefan's orders so that Dian could keep his money there.

Luis did not expect for eleven months this document suitcase was really used as a place to store money.

Stefan deliberately gave Dian pocket money in cash because he thought the geeky young girl was more practical to use cash than credit cards.

Luis glanced at Stefan who was still pensive after Dian left the office. Luis could feel a cold aura emanating from Stefan's body so Luis kept silent a thousand languages so as not to disturb Stefan.

Stefan was thinking about what Dian said about Gisel earlier. Stefan's trying to remember what happened eleven months ago in Las Vegas.

Her meeting at the bar with Dian could be vaguely remembered by Stefan. Stefan was sure that when he was drunk, Dian heard Gisel's name from his mouth. However, the incident was a long time ago and he never met Gisel except…

"Is Dian jealous because I met Gisel in Las Vegas?" stefan's heart.

The only possibility that sparked in Stefan's mind was Dian suing for divorce because of jealousy knowing he met with Gisel. Stefan went to Las Vegas a while ago for work and had no connection at all with Gisel.

Ever since Gisel rejected Stefan's proposal, the man had already thought clearly and cut off his relationship with Gisel. After all, Stefan knew for sure the main reason he chose Gisel as his lover at that time.

Stefan admits Dian is a kind and innocent young girl. If it wasn't Dian who was helping her in Las Vegas at the time, she might have been having more trouble there.

If only Dian could last for a year at their wedding, Stefan wouldn't mind continuing the marriage for a longer period of time.

Actually Stefan had planned not to divorce Dian after the contract period of their marriage agreement ended, but Dian himself wanted a divorce now so Stefan granted it.

"Luisne. Prepare 500 million in cash. Take it to the Bramasta Mansion with this suitcase for Dian!" stefan's orders.

"Well, Mr. Stefan," Luis replied.

***Mansion Bramasta***

Dian used her personal phone to call Chandra.

"Hello Dian," said Chandra as she answered the phone call.

"Sister Chandra. I want to go home" said Dian.

Chandra was silent for a few seconds after hearing Dian's words, then let out a long sigh.

"Dians. Where are you? Brother come get you now" said Chandra.

"Mansion Bramasta," answered Dian.

"Light the gps of your watch. Brother will arrive soon. Get your trail out of there" Chandra said.

"Both Chandra," replied Dian obediently.

Dian pressed a small button on the watch after ending the phone call with Chandra. There are four small circles of different colors on the watch screen. A small brown circle is heading towards a small red circle, while a small pink and black circle is in the same place.

"Sister Chandra," Dian muttered with a smile looking at the brown circle.

The watch was a gift from Chandra and showed gps the location of their family. The location of the five of them is indicated by small circles of different colors.

There was one small circle of blue that did not appear on Dian's watch screen because Kelvin, Dian's second sister, was overseas at the moment.

***Stefan's office space in Bramasta Company***

Stefan's phone text message sounded continuously in the office so that the young man placed the documents he was reading on the desk first before taking his phone.

Stefan's eyes rounded large see the name of the sender of the message that appears on the phone screen. Dian. Stefan never told Dian his phone number. The young girl always contacted Luis as usual, while Stefan himself did have Dian's mobile number on his contact list.

If Dian already knew her phone number from the beginning, why did the young girl just contact her after they officially divorced? Questions popped into Stefan's mind.

Stefan immediately read the contents of the message sent by Dian. The young man had a feeling Dian wanted to convey something to him.

Stefan's face became tense after reading all the contents of the text sent by Dian, precisely in the form of photos of himself and Gisel.

The photo looks very friendly and close because in the photo Stefan and Gisel sleep side by side on the sofa.

"Who sent this photo to Dian? Is gisel? It's worth it Dian sued for divorce," Stefan said as he massaged his forehead.

Stefan believes the photo was taken when he visited Gisel at the hospital. While Stefan was away in Las Vegas, Gisel contacted him and asked the young man to visit him at the hospital because Gisel had no immediate family there.

Gisel's legs sprained during a ballet performance so that Stefan did not refuse Gisel's request and eventually Stefan accompanied Gisel overnight in the hospital. Stefan sleeps on the couch, while Gisel sleeps in the patient's bed.

Stefan did not expect Gisel to photograph her secretly while sleeping and engineered the photo so that they both slept together.

Stefan called Dian's phone to explain the misunderstanding. Although they are both officially divorced, Stefan does not want Dian to misunderstand his relationship with Gisel so that the young girl is sad and hurt.

Stefan breathed a sigh of relief when the phone line was lifted after the tone of the call three times.

"At…"

"Sir Stefan!"

Stefan didn't continue because Luis' voice was on the other side of the phone.

"Luisne. Where is Dian?" ask Stefan without saying anything.

"I'm sorry Mr. Stefan. Lady Dian had already left the Bramasta Mansion when I arrived here," Luis replied.

Luis who was ordered by Stefan to deliver the money to Dian arrived at the Bramasta Mansion some time ago and did not find Dian's figure there.

The ringing of the phone from the bedroom made Luis pick it up because the call came from Stefan. Luis memorized Stefan's headphone number so he received the call quickly.

"Go? Where's Dian going?" stefan's heart.

"Luis! Check the Bramasta Mansion cctv. Find a taxi online that picks up Dian!" stefan's orders.

"Well Mr. Stefan," Luis replied and quickly executed Stefan's order.

Moments later the Bramasta Mansion's cctv footage was thoroughly examined by Luis and strangely the last two hours of footage was broken. The last recording only recorded Dian out of the Bramasta Mansion with a suitcase of documents and into a car to the Bramasta Company.

Cold sweat splashed on Luis' forehead as it found no trace of Dian at all.
