Even though Draynes' mind was very chaotic he still took the time to think about something about the problems they faced.
Honestly, Draynes did not really approve of the decision taken by Andros and Brandy which he thought was done only for such classical reasons. Right, if they're already stuck in this complicated problem that's the only way they can do it now.
But for Draynes, Andros and Brandy were too hasty in making a decision. According to him, if only the three of them still want to think, there must still be another way to save the lives of Bila and Sandra even if not by using the choice of change.
