The Dark Side of High School Kids

The Dark Side of High School Kids
Chapter 118 - The Final Section

...༻☆༺...

Three days passed. Then Afrijal came to Gamal to prison. He brought in a lawyer as well as a lot of money.

Upon arrival at the police station, Afrijal accidentally meets Zara. The girl had just arrived at the same time.

Afrijal threw a friendly smile. An attitude that Zara had never seen before. Even so, Zara returned Afrijal's smile.

"Sir Erick. You better talk to the police first. There is something I want to finish" Afrijal said. His lawyer, Erick, said.

Now Afrijal is approaching Zara. Invite the girl to talk to the cafe across the street.

At first Zara refused. He was certainly afraid of the figure of Afrijal. But as Afrijal continued to insist, he was forced to accept.

Once at the cafe, Afrijal allowed Zara to order any food. Even the most expensive.

"It's okay, Deck. Order aja. Think of this as my apology for scolding you" Afrijal said softly.

"Yes, Om. I'll order a burger with a cola if that's the case" replied Zara. To be honest, he felt very happy to see how Afrijal behaved.

A dozen times Zara asked herself. 'Is this a dream? Is Gamal starting to like me? Then I can hope for the future to be solved?' his powerless mind held a smile.

"I've heard what you've done with Gamal. When will your rehabilitation begin?" ask Afrijal seriously.

"Fastly, Om." Zara answered, then drank the cola using a straw.

Afrijal then nodded while carving a smile. He was just preparing to ask Zara something.

"Look, Zara." said Afrijal. Pause for a moment and continue, "now I'm going to get Gamal out of jail. I and my lawyer have found a way. Even so, the way we still will never improve the good name of Gamal. Only time can answer."

"Can you, Om?" Zara raised both eyebrows simultaneously. He suddenly felt excited.

"It can, but I'll make sure Gamal goes abroad. Right after he gets out of jail later." Afrijal's words immediately dropped Zara's spirit.

"Where, Om?" Zara asked stammeringly.

"I can't tell you. What is clear is that in addition to leaving this country, Gamal must also part with you. So what I want to say here is, stay away from my son from now on. Once he gets close to you, all the trouble comes." Once again the words of Afrijal hit Zara's heart. That woman must have felt hurt. He now realized that Afrijal's friendly attitude was just a pretense.

Zara lowered her head in disappointment. Her tears almost fell. But he tried hard to hold it.

"But take it easy. I'll reward you with money. Fifty million? Or five hundred million? You approached my son for money, didn't you? So now, stay away from him for your money, okay?" afrijal.

"But I..." Zara was unable to continue her words. For he was afraid that Afrijal would laugh. The thing he wanted to say was that he really loved Gamal.

At first, Zara wanted Gamal's money. But as time passed, the seeds of love grew naturally in his heart.

"And if you say you really love Gamal, don't expect me to budge. I will keep my son away and away from you! Catch that!" afrijal. Making Zara more cornered.

Zara automatically thinks well. The best option is to go willingly and earn a lot of money. After all Zara felt it was nothing to deal with Afrijal. The Laksana family was not only famous for being wealthy, but also had strong connections to political higher-ups. Zara's position is like a small pebble in Afrijal's eyes. Easily removed with a single jolt.

"Yes, Om. I'll take the money if that's the case." said Zara. His decision made a satisfied smile engraved on Afrijal's face.

"Alright, I'll prepare. Write down your account number. Later my secretary will transfer the money," Afrijal responded.

"Remember, if you've received the money. No need to see me or Gamal anymore. Anyway disconnect from Gamal. Build a new life with the money I give you. Good luck." Such was Afrijal's last word. Before you leave the cafe.

Zara paced with a blank look. He held onto his chest which felt tight. Then cry out.

Slowly Zara sat down on a long bench. There he saw the police station across the street.

...***...

Just two hours in jail, Gamal got a call from the police. He was allowed out of prison. This caused Gamal confusion. But not for Danu.

"I told you, you must be coming!" added Danu while turning his mouth to the right.

Gamal just frowned. He still can't digest what happened. But after seeing the presence of Afrijal and a lawyer, then Gamal understood.

Afrijal immediately took Gamal into his arms. Both of them cry each other. Apologizing for each other's mistakes.

"I'm sorry and thank you, Pah. I don't think Papah will come." said Gamal, closing his eyes.

"Father cannot allow Papah's only son to stay in prison" Afrijal said. One hand patted Gamal's shoulder.

Hearing the words of Afrijal, Gamal shed tears. After he was confirmed to undergo rehabilitation, Gamal was allowed out of prison. It was that easy for him to deal with the law. Afrijal only needs to pay more fines than the existing provisions.

After saying goodbye to Danu, Gamal went to the car with Afrijal. The man's steps stopped when he was in front of the car door. Gamal's head cuddled in all directions. He's trying to find Zara.

"What are you looking for?" ask Afrijal. He knew whose son was looking for whom.

"Girl, Pah. The same thing I was in that apartment. Doesn't anyone see? Before Papah came here, he always met me every day" Gamal explained.

Afrijal was silent for a moment. He did it to look like he was thinking. "Wouldn't anyone see that girl coming? Maybe he's tired of you" said Afrijal.

"If the girl cares, she'll find you or call you later" Afrijal said. Gamal finally decided to get into the car. They left the police station immediately.

Simultaneously, Zara came out from behind the tree. He had been observing Gamal from a distance. For him, it was the last time he saw the figure of Gamal. Now there was nothing Zara could do but walk home crying.

Author Note :

Finally the story is over, guys. Sorry if there are a lot of typos in the writing, as well as inappropriate flow. I also want to thank you for always liking, commenting, giving gifts, and voting. 🙏

The purpose of writing this novel is actually just to show how the dark side goes. I wrote it only from a teenage point of view. I hope this novel can be a reminder to us. Good in terms of behaving and taking care of the children later.

Once again I say thank you. Big love from me 😘

One more thing, the story novel about Gamal and Zara is up.
