The Chronicle the Fenix Clan

The Chronicle the Fenix Clan
Mr. Owl Ma

Zhonglei started his intermediate magic class which turned out to be in the same class as Gladys Wu. Different from their class in the previous academy which only had a few students in one class.

In the Moonlight Academy the classes in their class were divided into three classes. In one class there are 25 students. That meant 25 students times 3 classes, was the equivalent of 75 students of the elementary level of the intermediate academy.

"But I was really surprised.

Why is the number of would-be wood-bending magicians like me only in our class?

While you who were once a rare creature in the city of Temaram, look.. In our classroom alone there are three spellcasters" Zhonglei said with a laugh.

Apparently after the arrival of their whale carriage simultaneously at that time, which turned out to show that Zhonglei and Gladys Wu would not have any comrades from the same group, (Blue and grey nomroghs), some time after their departure came two Whale Trains carrying a group of gray-robed children.

Gladys laughed at this strange thing. He said,

"Not to think about that weirdness. We will both remain friends.

I don't really like those mantra-slinging kids and the lights. They are too flirtatious with the senior men in this academy" Gladys said with a look of disdain.

The two laughed and told him about the strange things in class. Because of the same nature and carelessness, making the two children become increasingly familiar.

Meanwhile, Zhonglei, who had never stopped practicing the Siulian breathing technique, felt that the benefits provided by the stealth training were greater.

In the Magic Battle Class, taught by a Level Two Shulam Fighter named Master Su Jian Guang, Zhonglei again showed superiority when they practiced paralysing birds.

At that moment Master Su Jian Guang entered the classroom and with magic he made five pigeons. Then he released the five pigeons in a large cage, covering an area of 10 x 10 meters. He said,

"You should be able to make the five pigeons fall using magic power, just like when you were trained to break nuts in a bottle, the time in your Academy before.

Each person was given only ten breaths of opportunity".

Master Su's explanation was indeed so easy. When each child tries to get into that big cage and tries to make the pigeons fall with magic power, all their confidence is renewed.

The pigeons moved so fast that the magic power could not lock in the movements of the pigeons, to make them fall.

"it's a wasted job.

It felt like it would be impossible for someone to stop the wild pigeons' flying movements, then lock them with magic power to knock them down" lamented a beautiful girl wearing a Red Nomrog.

But when it was Zhonglei's turn, the boy just closed his eyes, concentrated on his breathing exercises and then in silence he locked the pigeons one by one, then..

Blam !

The five pigeons fell simultaneously

"What?"

"That's not even five breaths yet" the other children choked. Zhonglei became increasingly popular as a talented student.

Zhonglei then received a contribution point of 100 points. That point did not include the ones he had received from the Alchemy class, the Healer Class of Magical Healing, Sword and Magic Techniques, the Herbology of Magical Plants and the rare Beasts in Magic.

"Gladys Wu, please,

will you take me to the academy's Exchange Point store?, I'm interested in exchanging my contribution points for one magic wand.

I want to have some kind of magic wand that also serves as my magic wave amplifier, as well as a weapon" Zhonglei said one weekend.

"Of course I'm willing.

It has been a long time since I wanted to peek at the contents in the academy shop that sells all magic purposes" Gladys agreed, even tending to be enthusiastic about the invitation.

******

The magic shop in the academy turned out not to be as big as the two children had imagined. The store is only 6 x 6 meters wide, and filled with many items that accumulate each other.

An elderly man emerged from the middle of the pounding goods, then welcomed the two children kindly, he offered his help, he said,

"Welcome to the Moonlight City Academy Shop.

Please choose what magic item you want to buy. What do you want? Weapons, amulets or just a plaything? Please ask this Mr. Owl Ma" the man named Mr. Owl Ma surprised Zhonglei and Gladys Wu.

"Ah... Mr Owl Ma, you surprise me" Zhonglei said.

"Can you show me a magic wand that matches a little boy like me?"

"Are you judging me?" ask Zhonglei.

"Not... I'm looking at you, and I want to read your future, and then choose what's right for you" Mr Owl Ma said.

"Ah.. Apparently you're the light" Zhonglei said,

"Please continue to look up, what objects fit me"

About ten breaths of Mr Owl then says worry,

"You're a kid with wood, aren't you?

But this brief description says you fit the magician's sword..." Mr. Owl frowned.

Of course Zhonglei and Gladys Wu were aghast. More so Zhonglei,

"Ah.. You may have mistaken Mr Owl.

Try it again. I'm not an attacker or a fighter at all. I am a healer and alchemist.

The magic wand suits me better than the magic sword" Zhonglei replied laughing.

He was amused to imagine that suddenly appeared in class later by carrying a magic sword like the children of the fighter. Wasn't she overconfident, thinking of herself as if she were a firebender or a landbender?

But Mr. Owl insisted once more, saying,

"Can't be wrong.

Never once have I glanced, run away from the reality that will happen. At least always close to reality, all the results of my exploration" he said firmly.

"That's it.." he continued.

"I offer you a short magic wand that has a sword-eye, if you move the mechanical button"

Mr. Owl took out a one-meter-long stick, which he then demonstrated his abilities.

"Look, see,

this stick will turn into a sword weapon when you press this mechanical button.

The short sword will come out from the end of the stick, so you can use it like an ordinary short sword"

Zhonglei observed the staff, he repeatedly pressed a mechanical button that displayed the tip of a short sword..

"If I may know, then,

what is the exchange rate with the contribution point for this magic wand that doubles the sword?" Ask Zhonglei.

"1000 contribution points. No less" replied Mr. Owl firmly.

Zhonglei's face turned disappointed.

"Ah... My contribution point is only 650 points. That's too far from the price of that stick"

"And if it's just an ordinary magic wand without a sword, what's its exchange price" he asked once again anxiously.

"That's only 450 contribution points, if you want to trade points.

Ah ... Too bad. Though my light says that you are more suited to the sword" replied Mr. Owl.

In the end Zhonglei took out a short 1-meter-tall magic wand (since he was still an 11-year-old boy, and the 1-meter wand was sufficient for his height).

The magic wand that Zhonglei exchanged had an ordinary marble decoration, which served as a transmitter and magic amplifier that magicians used to use.

The two left the academy's exchange shop, followed by the mysterious gazes of Lord Owl Ma.
