The Childhood Bond of Love

The Childhood Bond of Love
Desperate Asa

Aisha and Deva had already returned home from the hospital 3 days ago. Today is the first day Aisha has been in therapy to walk again.

A therapist is treating Aisha.

"Come on, try standing up and walking!" The doctor's orders. Deva smiles at Aisha from the balcony of the room, as Aisha is in therapy by the pool of Deva's house.

At first Aisha stood up and began to move her legs but Aisha fell back. The umpteenth time Aisha tried but continued to fall, it made Aisha lose her faith.

Deva who saw Aisha's face already showed her sadness immediately down and walked towards Aisha.

"Sir, I need to have an important talk with you!" The doctor said while helping Aisha get up and sit back in her wheelchair.

"Yes, what's the doctor?" Tanya Deva was curious. "Bi, please bring Aisha into her room and make her some food!" Deva orders the Asih bi who is talking to Sid's newly hired nanny Deva.

"Yes sir." Then turn around and push Aisha's wheelchair inside.

"What do you want to talk to the doctor about?" Deva asked with a thumping heart.

"It's about Aisha's mom!" With his head down.

'Glek' deva swallows her saliva hearing about Aisha.

"It looks like Aisha's mom is very unlikely to be able to walk normally again, judging by the results just now. Miss Aisha may be desperate and unsure of her own efforts." With clarity and detail.

Deva's face revealed a look of sadness after hearing what the doctor said.

"How about the next doctor? Is there any other way to get him to walk back?" With a face full of hope Deva ventured to ask.

"I have one way it may not make sense but 50% of people affected are paralyzed while successfully using that way." That answer made Deva excited again.

"What is the doctor like?" Deva asked with hopeful eyes.

"This way relies on you and your immediate family or those around you. You have to panic and be surprised to get his legs to reflex and stand up or walk. Like for example you take him to a cliff and pretend to slip and then fall into a cliff. It will trigger a reflex movement from his nerves so that he will unconsciously stand up and walk to help you. But that's just an example there's no harm in you trying in certain places like your swimming pool, sir!" The doctor gives advice and makes Deva think hard.

"You're right, doctor. All right, I'll try. Thank you for today's doctor" Deva said, giving the doctor an envelope.

"Well, I say good to go back to the hospital, may your wife be able to walk back as soon as possible, Mr. Adeva!" Bending her back, she turned and left Deva alone by the pool.

Deva started thinking about the advice of the therapist and an idea flashed through her mind.

"I'm sorry Aisha, this is all for your good!" Deva muttered with a smile and then went to walk into the house.

"Aisha!" Deva walks hurriedly as her eyes look around looking for Aisha's whereabouts.

Arriving at the room, Deva sees Aisha crying on her wheelchair.

"Aisha, don't cry! Come with me, we'll take a walk to calm you down. We take Sid too" while stroking Aisha's hair.

"No, leave me alone here. You just take Sid out to play with you!" Aisha refused with a raucous voice as a result of crying.

"You can't refuse Aisha, come on!" Deva takes Aisha back in while pushing Aisha's wheelchair and takes her out to the garage.

Deva holds Aisha and puts her in the car after which inserts Aisha's wheelchair into the trunk of her car.

"Wait here I'll take Sid first!" As she left Aisha. Aisha nods and chooses to follow her husband's words because Aisha knows Deva is the least to refuse.

Deva brings Sid back, Aisha smiles and welcomes Sid to sit on his lap.

"Mis!" Sid smiled and greeted his hand with great enthusiasm.

"Yes, my dear, my mother's darling." While showering Sid with kisses from his forehead to his puffer cheeks.

"You've always bothered my husband, so he'll always reward you for being ignorant and silly!" Aisha LEDek.

"Aisha, this time I shut up when you teased me! But just look if you're cured later I'll give you punishment!" With a cheeky face and smile.

"Hmm." Aisha simply cleared her throat then turned her face away and began to focus on Sid again.

Deva who realizes that aisha is sad again soon speeds up her car with a heart shrouded in guilt.

Before long Deva had arrived at a river where the water was very heavy.

"the river? Why are we going to this river?" Ask Aisha wonder

"Listen to Aisha I'll tell you why I brought you here. But before that I have to put you down first!" While taking Sid and lowering him on the ground. After that take a wheelchair and lower Aisha and sit Aisha in her wheelchair.

Deva takes Sid and puts him back in Aisha's lap. Then Deva pushed him close to the river.

Then Deva stopped right on the side of the river. Aisha started to feel something was a little off.

Why would Deva do this? Is he trying to end my life because of my current disability? But why would he hire a therapy doctor if he wanted to finish me off right now?

"Aisha, why do you look so scared? I don't intend to kill you, I just want to play water in that river!" Chuckling at Aisha's panicked and frightened face.

"Huh? No, I'm just afraid to see the water so hard." With a face that felt guilty for doubting Deva.

"Oh yeah, then you wait here with Sid." Aisha scrunched her forehead confused.

"Where are you going? Don't tell me you're..." Aisha did not finish her speech seeing Deva already smiling silly at her.

"I want to take a bath in this river!" deva's words surprised Aisha and opened her mouth wide.

"Huh? What did you say?!" Aisha asked unsure of Deva's words.

"I wanted...Bathe in this river" While whispering in Aisha's ear accompanied by her silly smile again.

"You've-been..." Before Aisha finished her speech Deva had already undressed and only stayed in shorts and then went into the river water and jumped while laughing like a child "Not sane!" Aisha continued her words that were about to be spoken.

"See Aisha! So exciting" While splashing water towards Aisha.

"Basic silly!" Aisha LEDek.

"What's? I didn't hear!" While coming out of the river water and walking towards Aisha who still holds Sid in her lap. Deva sat in front of Aisha and smiled.

"Aisha, I just want to see you smile like you used to before that." Holding Aisha's hands.

"But you don't have to do such a ridiculous thing!" Ketus Aisha's.

"When we were kids didn't you often play in the river with me and your friends?" The word Deva reminds Aisha back to their childhood.

"But that was when we were 8 years old! Now that you've become a father of 1 child, aren't you ashamed of the visitors here?" Aisha said as she glanced at all sides of the crowd.

"Hm... You're right too, then I'll take Sid to play with me!" Then take Sid from Aisha's lap and take him to the river.

"Hey...! Watch out if she gets cold and sick after coming home from here!" Ketus Aisha's.

Finally that day deva spent playing on the river with Sid. While Aisha only watched the silliness of her husband and child from the riverbank while occasionally laughing.
