The Charm of the Former

The Charm of the Former
Memories are not forgotten

Different is beautiful, does Indonesia have a variety of tribes and languages? It makes it richer in culture. And dialogue in the language of the region is very unique, adding insight if we want to learn. Or ... would be a misguided when we are ashamed to ask what it means.

Currently, we are visiting the house of Abah, one of our relatives in Bogor.the city is known as the city of rain, with the top of the tea garden as an icon. sundanese as a tribe and the language of the region.

Here happened to be a plot of our garden that was taken care of by Abah. Mas Juna has also started learning Sundanese although only a few words such as 'henteu(no)' and 'muhun(iya)'

Our garden is not very spacious, but a patch of fish pond and a variety of vegetables decorate it. And it's all the people who manage it.

Abah and Mas Juna plan to catch fish for pepes by Ummi. While I was in charge of tidying up the house. It just so happened that Ummi was going downstairs and Ucup, Abah's youngest child has not been seen the trunk of his nose since I came.

From the kitchen door, look mas Juna walk gontai, he looks very tired. Maybe he's not used to it. Understand every day his work just goes around. Just point this and that.

"Where did you come from, right from the end of sono?

Isn't our kebon in front?"

I offer a glass of drinking water that is immediately drunk without remaining.

Looks like she's thirsty for warm caresses.

Ehh means very thirsty.

"Alhamdulillah .." he said after getting back in shape.

"From Mr. Sobur's house deck. I asked him to take his fish to the handyman."

"Ohh ..." I waltzed back to wipe the stove.

Whait!! Abah told you to? There seems to be some bad smells.

Aish .. I mean the smells are not right.

"Mas, don't get me wrong again, do you?" I asked him to reassure him that I was his aware.

Aih even digresses

"No deck, I asked twice.

"Kata abah, Mas, tos quite iyeuh fishnya (Mas, enough of this fish). Sok ayeuna put it in the handyman. (sook now put it in the back)." Si Mas is indeed the most eloquent to imitate Abah's style of speech

"At the bahmer?"

"Muhun."

"Where's the bahmer?"

"At the eta maker, naon tea? Behind the house."

"Oh. Muhun bah ready."

So roughly.

"And behind Abah's house the handyman is only Sobur deck sir. Electronic repairman." Said the man defending himself.

* tepok jidat.

"Which motor key, Mas?"

I nodded while raising my hand.

"There's in the pocket of the jacket that hung the Deck."

"Replace your clothes immediately, and let's go."

"Where are you going, Dek?" He plainly asked.

A night without stars.

the gloomy coagulation covered the moon.

occasionally drizzle wet branches and flowers that bloom.

"It looks good this yang, we make fried bananas," said Mas Juna passed to the kitchen.

"Come," I answered, following his footsteps.

"Yank, chef Juna was always able to create new and luxurious recipes. The food of the classy. Great yes," said Mas Juna, his gaze glared far into space.a whisky clutched in his hand that was busy stirring a mixture of wheat flour, water and margarine

Either way from where, suddenly mas Juna discussed the twin. Ehh

Because I don't understand the direction of the conversation, I can only answer

"then?"

now, my hand very deftly separates the banana from the peel. Banana uli the harvest from the garden this morning.

"Mas recipe, that's all. Vegetable asem, kale, vegetable soup. Most of which is a bit complicated, make a fan fried banana. Need a good skill. Not just anyone can make, Yang, Hehe" This time Mas Juna sliced thinly banana meat, left a little at the end so that it then forms a fan when fried.

It is true what Juna said. I myself always fail when cooking fan fried banana, always break up in the middle of the road.hehe

"It looks like it needs a new experiment, Yang," he added

"By the way about bananas, it turns out the benefits of banana trees are a lot of lo, Mas." I replied shifting the topic.

I put the skillet down and poured it with cooking oil.

"Occupy the second position after the Nyiur tree, aka the coconut tree." I added, while turning on the stove.

"The most banana tree that the fruit uses is just like the leaves, Dek. Still losing the same cassava tree, the fruit can be processed various kinds of preparations. The leaves can be watered and the wood used for firewood." replied Mas Juna with the description in his view.

"Nih dengerin, Mas, bananas can be processed into various snacks. Banana heart, can be watered. Banana leaves can also be used for wrapping special cakes, or make pepes." I said

"The eggs can be used as animal feed. One more mas, in addition to bananas can be eaten, it turns out the banana skin can also be cooked loh." Imbuhku

Mas Juna put one by one banana dough into a pan whose oil had started to heat up. "What's the deck? Waahh can be on the list of the latest recipes." He replied with a happy twinkle, before then changing with a suspicious look.

"But you know where?" the search is full of questions.

"So I know from Facebook, Mas" I replied.

I put a small pot on the other stove, and then scented enough water to make tea and coffee.

"That's a banana peel, Dek, we make yukk! How's the cooking?" ask Mas Juna excitedly.

"Iris thin banana peel. Prepare the seasoning, then stir-fry as usual. Add water, stir until boiling and then put the banana peel. If you want dysantenin, just enter instant coconut milk wait until boiling, taste check, done," I replied patronizing

"Waahh mas wonder what it's like huh, Dek?" ask mas Juna while squinting, maybe imagine the taste of banana peel vegetables

"Adek do not know mas, because it is written here can only be cooked. It can't be eaten."

"Oncom!!!" yell at Juna.

"Banana peels, Mas, not oncom" I replied with a tickle
