Dante folded his hands together on his chest, standing not far from his bed as he looked at Hana who was crying a mouthful on the edge of his bed. Again Gery acted to hurt Hana for the umpteenth time.
Although Hana's heart is as strong as steel, it does not mean she can not shed tears. He also needed a friend to share his grief.
"Daddy may I ask you a favor?" hana asked her father-in-law.
Dante walked up to Hana, then sat down next to Hana. "What do you need, Han?" dante asked as he raised Hana's chin, looking at the sad beautiful face. Dante wiped away the tears that soaked Hana's tyrannical cheeks with gentleness.
"I want to get out of this house, but I don't know where to go" replied Hana who also looked at the face of his father-in-law who still looks very handsome even though he was 40 years old.
"Daddy can help me?" ask Hana again expectantly.
"Of course," replied Dante, disturbing him slowly.
"Thank you." Hana hugged Dante tightly. He didn't know what to say anymore because his father-in-law was so kind and cared about him.
"Yes, don't cry" said Dante stroking Hana's back gently, then returning the arms of his daughter-in-law.
"I have an empty apartment, you can occupy it for a while" said Dante, pushing both sides of Hana's shoulders so that the embrace unraveled.
"Isn't that a lot of exaggeration?" hana asked, rejecting her father-in-law's subtle offer.
"No, not at all excessive," replied Dante confidently. "You deserve good facilities, because you are my daughter-in-law Hana," continued Dante looking at Hana with his blue bead that is able to sedate anyone who looks at her including Hana.
Hana bowed her head, she put her arms down, "i don't deserve anything from Daddy because I'm getting a divorce from Gery soon" Hana said, thinning her lips.
His heart was a little relieved, at least he would soon be free from Gery's grip, it was more than enough for him.
Hana nodded in the end and obeyed Dante's wishes.
"Can I go tonight too?" hana asked, biting her lips. Feeling bad for having to trouble his father-in-law again.
"Why not? Come on!" Dante then pulled his daughter-in-law's hand out of his room.
"But my clothes?" Hana restrains her father-in-law as he is led to the car garage.
"All your clothes look old, leave them alone, I'll buy you a new one" said Dante.
"No need, Dad. In a moment, I want to pack some of my clothes at once say goodbye to Auntie" said Hana.
"All right, I'll wait here" said Dante.
Fifteen minutes later, Hana is back in the car garage, escorted by Auntie.
"Get yourself hope you get happiness out there" Auntie said sincerely to Hana.
"Thank you, Bi," Hana replied and hugged the middle-aged woman tightly.
Dante stuffed Hana's suitcase into the trunk, then got into the car and sat behind the wheel and looked at Hana and Bibi doing a farewell.
"I will keep your departure from Mr. Gery a secret. May you be protected by God and bestowed with happiness" said Bibi when Hana had entered the car, and sat beside Dante.
"Aunt health care. I'll call you often, Bi," said Hana, waving her hand as Dante ran his car.
