A light peeking from the eastern horizon signals the rooster to crow. The echo of Adzan reverberated to keep me awake, immediately I moved and fulfilled my obligations.
I said do’a so that my relationship with Dilan went smoothly to a more serious level, so that he and I could stop doing everything.
Not in the current era of people who are in a relationship as lovers will do more than a hand grip. Except for those who adhere to the ta’aruf system, and I am not one of them.
I am just a person with a lack of religious knowledge but, as much as possible I have good intentions to change myself little by little. We do not know how long everyone in the do’nya, how long they spend begging for forgiveness, and how much regret they have.
Wiping away the remaining tears that soaked the cheeks while prostrating again for the latter. ‘Subject sahwi'
After complaining to the Khalik, I chose to clean up the house. Sweeps a pretty wide page. There are star fruit trees there until many small leaves are scattered every day. I wore a gray short-sleeved tunic with black leggings ¾.
Long enough I sweep until my body sweats, I cursed the owner of the house that planted the star fruit tree, why not just mango tree or rambutan? Because the leaves are wider and do not stick to the ground. In between my activities, I heard someone calling me.
“Wah, Mbak Laras was diligent once, yes!” that guy turned out to be Rahman. The man smiled broadly with his maniac back to scan me.
I smiled wryly. ‘Why is this guy coming again seh?’ my mind's upset.
“Hm... if you need anything Mbak need not hesitate, Mbak can immediately find me,” he explained clumsy because it did not get a response from me.
“Iya Mas! Thanks for the offer,” sahutku trying to be friendly even though actually reluctant. This guy is too pretentious to know a close-knit.
“Ya already then I go first, want to task Country!” pamit Rahman's. I nodded and breathed a sigh of relief. Eventually the man left too.

The weather started to get hot as the sun crept up. I wore a sunblock so that my skin would not burn during the journey to Cafe which I had agreed with Dilan. I intentionally use the online motorcycle to get to the destination faster.
15 Minutes was the agreed time, but I came 15 minutes earlier than the promised time. Means for ½ hours I waited in Cafe with second order. My stomach was almost bloated with coffee, so I finally decided to call Dilan.
[The number you're going to is off or-] I immediately disconnected the call. Sighing in agitation because it was the calling of the many times.
“Why is the phone inactive? Did something happen?” mummified worried.
Back to tinkering with my phone and came to contact Maria.
“I better ask Maria the location of Dilan internship,” I scroll a row of WA arranged, there is a message Rian asked me yesterday. “Ah, I forgot to reply to Rian's message!” my peek.
At that time I called Rian, lucky that he was not busy. Half an hour I chatted with Rian, telling him I was okay. Just one day apart, I felt a longing for my son. I almost forgot my destination of wanting to ask Maria the location of Dilan's apprenticeship until my call was over.
Dilan still did not show the trunk of his nose, I circulated the view with a sense of caution. He's not usually like this. I called Maria, but her call was busy.
“Ah is already .. maybe she is busy. I'd better go home,” my monologue.
I walked away from Cafe. Earlier I had sent a message to Dilan if he could just come to the contract.
It was late afternoon, actually reluctant to return to the contract but how else? I'm lazy if I have to walk around alone. Although heavy I re-booked the ojek online to the contract.

Dilan really had no news until the next day. I who was overwhelmed with unease felt a little treated with Maria who contacted me.
[Sorry yesterday I was on my way, now I'm in a hotel room waiting for the meeting to start, ] Maria obviously wasn't feeling well.
[Ah, it's okay Maria. I just want to ask for Dilan's internship address,] I said.
[Well, didn't I give you the letter?] tanyanya.
[I forgot to ask him,] I lied.
[Hm..so, the address is at.].
Maria mentioned Dilan's address, I listened carefully while noting it down on the memo paper I always carried.
[No problem Baras, then I close first huh. My meeting's about to start, we'll call you back later, OK?!]
[Ok, bye,] calls were cut off.
I immediately got ready to go to the address that Maria had given me. Along the way I tidied do’a hoping that she was okay. Please send me to the Surabaya Language House. Dilan majored in Indonesian language literature, he is here as a translator. I have no doubt that she saw him as being so good at stringing words, especially seducing.
I entered the building to the Information Section about to ask her whereabouts who managed to make me careless. But instead of asking the man, I asked him where the toilet was. Because when I was from home I held back the feeling of wanting to urinate, with a little haste I also walked to the toilet.
After coming from the toilet I returned to the information section but, at once I was shocked by a heart-wrenching sight. A man with a woman ..they hugged me, I'm sure if I didn't see it wrong because he looked at me. I saw his surprised expression, I retreated slowly. Now I know the reason why he was hard to contact from yesterday. I smiled thinly feeling played with.
Goddamnit!
Without a word I looked away and walked away from the place. A voice called my name.
“LARAS!”
I didn't heed it. I chose to run, I'm going home today too. I have to go home now!

BRACKET
The door opened violently, I vented my anger at the dead thing. My eyes were misty, my hands were trembling. I rushed into the room grabbing my suitcase, opening the origin of the wardrobe and tossing strands by sheets of my clothes into it.
I no longer cared about the strands of cloth that were sandwiched between the zippers of my suitcase. I scrolled the suitcase with the rest of my energy suddenly drained. For the umpteenth time I saw a betrayal before my eyes.
“Arrrggh!” I screamed in frustration.
My bead moved wildly, looking for the whereabouts of my bag that I just threw the origin. Cell phone, I need a cell phone to book a plane ticket. I tried to regulate my breathing that was choked, my chest tight. I haven't found it yet, Dilan is at the door.
“Laras!”
I was shocked and shook my head. Dilan glanced at the suitcase not far from her standing.
“Listen to my explanation,” pinta Dilan.
“Do not approach!” my threat. “I've seen it all!”
“It's a misunderstanding.”
“You are the same, you are the same as Mas Andi-“ my words were interrupted by Dilan who eroded the distance and gripped my two hands, her manic flushed with veins poking at her temple.
“DON'T YOU EVER EQUATE ME WITH HIM, I'M NOT HIM!” his screams made me hide in fear. I've never seen his anger like this. I grimaced with pain in my wrist.
“I'M BETTER THAN HIM!” back Dilan yelled.
The grip was getting stronger until I complained. “Sick... Dilan,” I moan.
Dilan seemed to realize, he immediately took off that grip. I sat down with tears flowing just like that.
“Oh no! Laras ... forgive me, dear.” her voice softened half begging.
Dilan grabbed my hand however, I was stunned in fear. “Sorry... please forgive me, do not go.. sorry,” he said quietly with a look of regret. Kissed my wrists reddened. My tears grew louder, again remembering his rude attitude earlier.
“Laras... sorry... I was too afraid of losing you,” Dilan gave a hand and hugged me. I didn't answer, I was still confused by what just happened.
Dilan... What are you really like?
