Holidays are usually used Zifa to sleep as much, but different from today. The girl had even prepared in her casual suit. Ningsih and Juna who had just returned home from the morning run frowned in surprise when they found Zifa who was ready to leave. Even the girl missed her breakfast.
"Where are you going Zi?" ask Juna. Zifa who was wearing her sneakers turned to "Eh? you guys back from the gym?"
"Yes. You haven't answered your Papa's question, where are you going?" this time Ningsih asked.
"Zi today wants to help Nara settle down in her new home Ma" Zifa explained.
"Ooh! Nara's moving out?" ask Juna. Zifa nodded "Yes yesterday afternoon he said. That's why I'll order the stuff today"
"So you don't have breakfast? Mama cooked before she left"
Zifa shook her head. "No Ma. Nara last night made Zi have breakfast with her. Zi is actually not good, but Nara is even maksa"
Ningsih nodded in understanding "Yes that's it"
"Zi left first, Assalaamu'alaikum" he said.
"Wa'alaikumsalaam, be careful on the road" Juna recalled. Zifa simply replied to him with a thumbs up then passed from there.
Zifa stopped at the address Nara had sent her last night. He then knocked on the white door.
The door opened, revealing Nara who was holding a bell in her hand.
"Eh, Zi? It's coming! Come on in" said Nara.
"Assalaamu'alaikum" greeted Zifa as she entered the house.
"Mas, Zi has arrived. We should have breakfast first, then continue" Azraf nodded, the man greeted Zifa for a while and said goodbye to clean up first.
Zifa and Nara walked first to the kitchen. It turns out that Nara has prepared several different dishes, it's appropriate that her best friend insisted on telling her to eat breakfast here.
"What time did you wake up, Nar, to cook this much?" ask Zifa.
"I didn't sleep at dawn anymore. So well I have plenty of time to prepare food. Same clean-up some stuff while waiting for you to come"
Zifa looked at Nara in amazement. Though Nara used to be the same as him, it was difficult to wake up early on holidays. But now it seems different because the girl has become a Housewife. Obviously, he has a responsibility that he has to do.
"Sorry yah Zi, so take care of you" said Nara. Zifa looked at Nara cynically "Apaansih Nar! I'm the same as anyone who uses apologies. Don't worry about you getting married, you'll be with me" Zifa said.
Nara shook her head, she hurriedly approached Zifa and hugged the girl. "Sorry, sorry. That's not what I mean"
"This time I'm sorry. Just be careful if you say that next time"
Both were silent for quite a while. "Nar, I hope our relationship stays close even though we already have our own lives. I don't want to be like other people whose relationships stretch when they're married. You promised Nar we wouldn't like that?" zifa said with sadness.
Nara was her best friend who understood her best. Nara knows how bad she is, and vice versa. Zifa wanted their relationship not to change even though they were different.
"I promise Zi. We'll stay like this, forever. Nothing will change. I promise I will always try to be there for you, always support your every step, and always reprimand you when you are wrong. And vice versa" Not felt, both tears dripped. Well, many are indeed facts where the relationship between friends stretch after they get married. Even when they meet, they will look awkward. No more outspoken words, no more laughter, everything changed along with their status. Zifa and Nara certainly don't want to be like that.
Is anyone sad not to read Nara's dialogue with Zifa? Or does anyone else understand the same thing when your best friend is married? If I really did. When my best friend got married, it felt different. At least ask each other the news and chat pleasantries. It's sad when you remember how close it was. Either I'm the only one who feels we're far away or maybe they feel the same way about me. Sorry well, a little curhat😊
