At seven on Saturday night. Aslan stood in front of Samantha's house. Carrying a red rose full of sparks of romance, excitement and hope. Not only alone, he brought at once parents and Ardana as a form of seriousness in a relationship with Samantha.
Aslan rang the bell, he looked fantastic in official clothes. Face full of warmth. He felt soaring despite the agitation lingering on his chest. A whole new life this time he gave up on the circumstances. Giving up on a situation he could not prevent on his own. Samantha is the best version of Samira for her. A version he can follow his flow and steps. There was also no gap for him to retreat, he only needed to put Samantha by his side. He was the first to impress her, after Samira of course.
The risk of heartbreak was rejected by his family Aslan was ready body soul. Will not die again like the time in residence Samira rabbi because there is a pair of two people who always give the best place in every prayer for him. Aslan just needed to try and not stop opening the heart. He was convinced that he could find his happiness as quickly as Samira did.
"Cie, have moved on from the angel of heaven." chirped Ardana beside him. "If we'd changed places first, As. I'm sure Samira can be with both of us."
Cornelia cleared her throat loudly as she reached out to the ears of her sons.
"There is no way an honorable man of the highest class can hurt his conscience!"
Both of his sons grimaced. "Handering, mom. But there's a good thing Samira is my wife, I must be lazy to work and want to be in the room continue." teased Ardana in Aslan's ear.
There was no angry look from his twin brother, it was just that Aslan's shiny black shoes stepped on Ardana's sneakers.
"Samira is no longer my personal domain." Aslan cleared his throat while pressing the bell again.
It took a thrilling and uncertain ten minutes for him before the door completely opened. Aslan feels played with a girl he thinks of after a trip home from Lombok and a family meeting when it is clear Samantha made a schedule of meetings with the family at seven on Saturday night at her home. Complete with notes; don't be late!
Samantha smiled, she had known Cornelia and Ardana while spending time in Lombok but not with Rahardian. And without needing to be explained, he already knew who the charismatic man was.
"Sorry old, um, Aunt, brother, brother. Mama and papa gerogi. Almost fainted inside." joked Samantha while kissing the back of Cornelia and Rahardian's hands respectfully.
Cornelia stroked Samantha's back with affection.
"No problem baby, it's important you open the door. Aslan was too anxious you rejected." she cheerfully said.
Aslan throws a lip while holding out a red rose for Samantha.
"Receive and don't throw it away!" seriously door.
"Very-ten..." Ardana embraces his brother. "At formal, Sam. Aslan's heart is also, let's not want the same as last. Who's been bunting for almost two months."
Samantha breathed in the scent of her red roses. Satisfied filling his lungs with sparks of romance from Aslan he got rid of it from the doorway.
"Let's om, Auntie. Login." He invited his guest of honor in without regard to Ardana's words. For him Samira remains Aslan's best friend and his own. No matter what past these two have gone through, Samantha believes the real boundaries Samira has built are strong enough not to melt Aslan's heart deeper.
Before long, Samantha's parents were present, each carrying a silver tray of warm green tea and pancakes, peanut cakes and cat tongue cookies inside a glass jar.
"Good night." Samantha's father and her mother joked, introducing themselves formally before breaking into conversations about business and key issues.
"Why rush to marry Aslan's son? Is.." Larry's gaze, Samantha's father was fixed on his son's stomach.
"Is Samantha pregnant?"
All eyes were on Aslan. Put on a lookout of dismay and disappointment if it really happened. At first, the talk was good enough for the beginning of the approach, Aslan did not mind the seeds and weights, they only issue loyalty and cooperation in the company, but Aslan was not looking for a girlfriend, he said, he is looking for a wife who can accompany Aslan in the grief of building a company. Ahmad's grandfather also warned his grandchildren to get married.
Aslan raised both of his hands. During this time they traveled with the strict rules that Aslan made. Sleeping in separate and shared rooms when it comes to work, they are very professional. There is no scandal or just a little stealing the opportunity to make out. Aslan and Samantha are too lazy to do things that make them uncomfortable. Physical touch also occurs only when they do adrenaline that requires working together, such as when they decide to climb Mount Rinjani to conquer Samantha's dream.
"I have promised someone to take my next door to heaven, it is impossible for me to touch Samantha before marriage. He is still holy." Aslan said.
And now all the gazes turned to Samantha. The girl raised her hand.
"Someone was our best friend, Samira. If Brother Aslan keeps his promise it means I am truly still holy. Anyway, pa, ma, om, Aunt, brother. We're not dating. We're just often together!"
"Why do you suddenly want to get married? You guys love each other? Escape?" Rahardian asked seriously. The father of the twins was advancing the body.
"Marriage is not about you agreeing to live together, but a lifetime commitment and your promise to God."
"It's about escape that ends in kindness, papa. And we don't need to prove anything now because we enjoy every day as a moment of grace."
Rahardian agreed, but it took her half a year to consummate her son's marriage until she was absolutely certain her son and Samantha were able to hold on to the time she was given.
Aslan stretched out his hand, the two shook hands as if it were a business trip.
"Do I need to write a letter on the stamp?" timpal Samantha in the midst of a serious atmosphere.
Everything is blissfully broken. Over time the formal attitude that preceded their introduction continued with lithe, joking, family business chats and the wedding plans of Aslan and Samantha. Meanwhile, when parents are busy traveling to any old business trip, the two brides-to-be put up a harness. They take Mochi and Mocca for a walk around the complex under the twinkling stars while talking about the dream they dream of later after the wedding.
Honeymoon on a cruise.
