The Beloved Lady of Mr. Dama

The Beloved Lady of Mr. Dama
Chapter 24

Silent moment.

Luna said, "But .. he died."

"Huh?"

Ratna did not believe it.

Alya was also stunned. His mind was empty and he was shocked.

"Is the girl who died Rania?" muttered Alya who remembered Dama often delirious of the name.

No wonder he got such an expression when he asked about his first love that night. It turned out that he had been reminiscent of his miserable past. He felt a little regretful for being insensitive a few days ago.

"It was just a rumor and a rumor. I don't know if it's true or not" Luna said

"If that's true, then I'm sure our president doesn't love Jasmine."

"Why?"

"How can a living person be compared to a dead person? The dead must leave a deep mark on the hearts of the living. It cannot be removed for the rest of their lives. Jasmine might just be a substitute." Ratna spoke while pursing her lips.

Luna lowered her voice and said in a serious manner, "Yes, don't be taken for granted again. We are employees. We can't talk about our president. If someone overhears what we're saying and reports to him, it could be out of us."

"understand. My mouth's sealed. I won't say anything."

Luna nodded, got up, and when she was about to return to the office. He saw Alya sitting motionless on the chair, so he reached out and nudged her. "Hey, Alya, why are you daydreaming?"

Alya immediately came to her senses and lowered her head to hide what she was thinking.

 "No," Alya said quickly.

Luna smiled and said, "Let's get back to work. I'll take you."

"OKAY. Thank you, Luna."

"We're all partners. No need to be polite."

On the 28th floor of the president's office.

Tria reported Alya's news one by one.

"Mr Dama, Miss Alya is very familiar with her colleagues and they have lunch together in the cafeteria during the day. I faintly heard that he was talking about you with his comrades."

"Oh?" Dama who was standing by the window raised his eyebrows, turned his head to the side, revealing his protruding face behind the shadows. "What did they say?" tanyanya.

"Uh, they are sitting a bit far away so I can't hear them clearly, Mister," Tria said with her face down.

"More times I will sit closer and listen to what he and his colleagues say" Tria continued as Mr. Dama did not recite his words for several minutes.

Alya is very smart. Even though he looks clumsy and careless on the outside, he is actually very gentle and observant in acting

Tria nodded, "Yes, Mr. Dama."

"Well, you can go now!" say Dama.

"Yes, Sir. Then I'm sorry, " said Tria then she turned her body to leave.

As he walked out. In the middle of the road, he thought of something and turned around.

"By the way, Miss Alya seems to have some doubts. Like getting this job because of you, sir," said Tria who was almost at the doorstep.

Dama glanced at him with a pair of deep eyes. "What did you say?"

"I didn't say anything, and I'm not saying that you look at the resume personally. I just told him that he is talented and the company values talent like him" Tria said.

Dama smiled, "If she asks again next time, you can look for an excuse, as long as you don't tell her that I have something to do with her joining this company."

"Good." Tria answered while nodding and turned to get out.

He's not boring anyway. He knew he was suspicious. His mouth curved into a smile and his admiration for the woman.

As for why he did not want to tell that he got the job because he. It was because Alya had high self-esteem despite looking careless.

He obviously wanted to ask her for help applying for a job, but she didn't say it in the end. It was probably because of the self-esteem that was unwilling to be looked down upon by him.

In the afternoon, Luna asked herself to pack up. Before he left the company, Melody called and she immediately replied, "Melody, why are you calling me now?"

Melody suddenly asked, "Are you having a headache?"

Alya exclaimed, "What?"

"You had a lot to drink yesterday. Don't you have a headache today?"

"Of course, it hurts! It feels like someone's been tearing my head apart all morning." Alya thought for a moment and said, "Melody, is there something you want to ask me?"

Of course, Melody wanted to ask him something. He's been holding her all night. He called now and thought he was still sleeping. Knowing that he drank one glass too much last night, he wanted to let him rest longer. But he couldn't hold back his curiosity.

"What's the connection between you and the guy who took you away last night at the bar?" ask Melody.

Alya was already preparing to answer that question. He pretended to be confused and said, "Who are you talking about? Excuse me. I fainted last night. I don't remember anything about last night."

"Come on, stop acting!" Melody did not believe it at all.

Alya didn't know what to say.

Melody grunts. "I only care about you. Did you have trouble getting drunk like that last night?"
