Fariz and Farhan have left for work. Fariz's father was watching television. Mother Fariz was preparing for the holiday, and Sava helped her mother-in-law.
"When do we leave Bun?" ask Sava.
"Tomorrow. Faster, better," replied his mother-in-law.
Sava and her mother-in-law were in her in-laws bedroom. Mother Fariz took a few pieces of clothing and put them on the bed. Sava smoothed the folds of clothes that looked a little messy. Her mother-in-law picked up 3 suitcases, then arranged the clothes in a suitcase.
"How many clothes are there, Bun? There are so many, "sava said.
"Yes. Fear of rain continues there and you are lazy to wash," replied Mother Fariz while grinning.
"Oh, so."
"You want to go shopping? Mommy wants to cook a side dish to bring tomorrow. Yes side dishes that can last a long time. Your father-in-law eats it picky. Later the mother is confused what to cook there."
"Boleh bun. Sava helps with cooking. Who knew Sava could try it sometime."
Mother Fariz smiled at the words of her daughter-in-law. I'm grateful that Sava tried to learn to behave like a good wife to Fariz, despite his young age.
The clothes on the bed had already moved into the suitcase. The suitcase with clothes is ready.
"1 more suitcase for what bun? Farhan?" ask Sava.
"No, it's for other equipment. Such as toiletries, shoes and others. I'll fill it up."
Sava nodded in understanding.
"We're leaving now?" take her mother-in-law.
"Come," said Sava.
Sava and her mother-in-law set off for the nearby traditional market of the housing complex. They were driven by the driver.
On the way, Sava sent a message to Deshi that he was leaving for Medan tomorrow.
"Who did you call?" ask her mother-in-law.
"Deshi, kun. Sava always told him that Sava would leave" Sava replied.
"Take him. Deshi could be your friend there. If you want to take a walk, Deshi can take you."
"Isn't it burdensome for Deshi?"
"That's his job. Call him, tell him to get ready. Tomorrow we leave."
"Good, bun."
Sava sent another message to Deshi, if Deshi comes with him to Medan tomorrow.
Before long, they arrived at the traditional market. Sava and Mother Fariz got off and asked the driver to pick up in about 1 hour.
"Mom, I haven't been shopping here in a long time. Where the hell is it?" a salesman said not far from the entrance.
"Yes, my husband is sick. I didn't get to go to the market to take care of my husband" replied Fariz.
"What pain mom? Hope you heal quickly. Who'sisthis? Her kid?" ask again.
"No. My daughter-in-law."
"Beautiful ma'am. I already have a daughter-in-law. Soon I have a grandchild."
"Haha. Pray soon." Sava's mother-in-law laughed at the temptation to ask for a grandchild, while Sava looked down in shame.
They walked in, then stopped at an onion and chili vendor.
"The redhead is half a kilo yes, garlic is a quarter of a kilo and the chili is about a kilo" Mother Fariz said.
"Eh mother, long time no see. Same who?" said onion seller.
"This is my daughter-in-law."
"Holy? Oh, I guess this girl is still in school. I intend to introduce it to my son. I often shop at this market. I shop here often, right?"
Sava nodded in embarrassment.
"Do you shop here often?" ask Sava's mother-in-law to Sava.
"Sometimes mother, at least once a week," replied Sava.
"Rajin ya mother's daughter-in-law. Fariz did not choose this wrong," Mother Fariz said while pinching Sava's cheek.
"Mother is lucky to have a beautiful and diligent daughter-in-law. Rarely do young people want to go to the market. Let alone traditional markets like this," said siptera.
Then the traders in the traditional market they come to praise Sava. Sava only frowned upon hearing the various compliments that were given to him.
Finally, Sava accompanied the mother-in-law to shop. The driver was waiting since.
Sweat soaked Sava's face up to his neck. Her hair also fell.
Unable to bear the rage, Sava tied his hair. Letting his neck feel the cold air of the car AC.
Ibi Fariz saw something on Sava's neck. He brought his face closer to see what was on his daughter-in-law's neck.
"Why mother?" ask Sava astonished.
"Oh, this is mosquito-bitten. Sava last night waited for Fariz in the living room to fall asleep. Though Fariz had compressed it" explained Sava.
Mother Fariz smiled holding back laughter hearing Sava's explanation. He saw once again a red mark on Sava's neck to confirm his suspicions.
"So, did you fall asleep in the living room? Until morning?" search mother Fariz.
"No mother. After Fariz came home, we went to the room. Fariz shower. Because Sava was sleepy, Sava went back to sleep."
"You guys slept in the room?" ask mom to doubt.
Sava. He slipped. Turns out her mother-in-law doesn't know about them staying in the room.
Seeing Sava's reaction, her mother-in-law was convinced that they were indeed roommates. Sangking excited at this news Fariz's mother hugged Sava tightly.
"Thank you, baby, for receiving your child. He was a little naughty, but Fariz was a kind and loving child. Be smart in taking Fariz's heart."
"I-iya, bun," Sava replied nervously.
"So you guys did it?" ask mother.
"Do what?" ask Sava back.
"It doesn't seem like it yet" murmured Mother Fariz.
"It's okay to slow down."
Sava looked down embarrassed after understanding the direction of her mother-in-law's conversation.
"So you're aware of this red mark, you mean this mosquito bite in the morning? Didn't you wake up in the living room?"
"Fariz told Sava. He came with a small towel and compressed Sava's neck. Said there was a mosquito bite mark on Sava's neck."
"Hahahah" Mother Fariz laughed.
"Why are you laughing?" ask Sava astonished.
"It's okay. Looks like your house needs to be brought in mosquito repellents, insects and the like."
"It's okay bun, it's because Sava fell asleep in the living room. Next time Sava won't sleep in the living room anymore."
"All right." Sava's mother-in-law smiled holding back a laugh.
Sava and her mother-in-law have arrived home. They start cooking side dishes to bring tomorrow.
After cooking, Sava returned home to pack. But was detained by his father-in-law. Sava's father-in-law invites him to lunch before Sava returns home. Sava agreed.
"How's Fariz?" ask Sava's father-in-law.
"Dad mean what?" Sava asked back.
"Did he often make you angry? Is he acting as he pleases?"
"Ti-no dad. Fariz's good. He pays attention to Sava, but sometimes it's a bit strange" Sava replied nervously.
"Huhahah." Sava's father-in-law laughed at Sava's reply.
"Thank God you understand Fariz. After your parents' visit yesterday, have you ever been back?" ask Moan.
"The Sava family visited yesterday. When my father was abroad. They accompanied Sava for a few days," replied Sava.
"Dad was happy to hear it. Say hello to your parents. Tell them you're going to the field. Who knows if they'd want to come."
"Good, yeah."
"If Fariz messes around, just come here. Dad's door is open for you."
"Dad what the hell is this? Don't mock her own child" Sava's mother-in-law interjected.
"Father is not bad. If there's a problem with Fariz, it's better for Sava to come here than to go home to his parents. If Sava comes here, Fariz, we'll teach him a lesson. However, if Sava went to his parents' house, Sava could not be allowed to return to Fariz. I don't want to lose a daughter-in-law like Sava either" Moan explained.
Sava's heart rang out hearing her father-in-law's words. He was grateful to have met Fariz's family. He could not imagine what his fate would be if Fariz's parents did not seek out his family for an arranged marriage.
"Yes dad. Sorry, mother misunderstood. Dad's been holding his savings. Let Sava eat" Mother Fariz said.
Fariz's father cleared his throat. While Sava smiled clumsyly and finished his meal.
Mother Fariz brought a box of food in her hand which she brought from behind. Then he handed it to Sava.
"This is a little side dish we cooked earlier. Let Fariz have a taste" said Sava's mother-in-law.
"Thank you, bun. Fariz must be happy," replied Sava.
"He was almost like his father. I like to choose food."
Sava unceasingly smiled as Fariz's name was mentioned.
"Mother, father. Sava went home first yes," said Sava.
"Yes. The plane's tomorrow at 2 p.m. Make sure you and Deshi arrive at the airport at 12" she said.
"Yes, mother" replied Sava.
Sava returns to the house where he and Fariz live. He was surprised to see Fariz at home when it was still daytime.
