“Lu, so what's your decision?.” (mandarin language) asked Aaron to Lu Chen who seemed to be looking at the dense city of Beijing from above Rooftop.

“I guess let's end our contract until here.” (mandarin language) Lu Chen replied with a rough sigh as if the burden had been released from him.

“What is it about Jiang Xi?.” (in mandarin) asked Aaron while smoking his cigarette and releasing his smoke into the sky that morning.

“Yes!. I need to solve my personal problems first. I don't want my personal problems to be a barrier to our household later.” (mandarin language) Lu Chen said firmly.

Lu Chen knew that his Mommy did all that to protect him and on the other hand his Mommy also needed space to be alone or forget all his past. But he felt dumped, so he chose to avoid Jiang Xi.

Jiang Xi who felt shunned by her own son finally decided to leave her son to Aaron for fear of influencing his psychology. Jiang Xi really wanted to take her son with her to New York. But the rejection made him think that his son hated him.

Lu Chen knew he was wrong, but because of the selfishness in him he always thought his Mommy was staying away from him. Now he is very sorry and wants to make up for all his mistakes. And finally he realized the smile that disappeared from his Mommy was not because of his father Jackson Lu but because of him.

“I'm sorry, Mommy!. I'm guilty!.” Said Lu Chen who was unceasingly blaming himself for all his attitude all along.

“Honey!. It's not your fault, it's Mommy's fault that you made yourself this way. I was a bad mother!. How does a mother like myself make you live with others?.” Jiang Xi's cry that he never stopped pouring on his son.

They finally reunited as a family, and that day Lu Chen told his Mommy about him proposing to Zahra and also his decision to withdraw from the entertainment world.

Jiang Xi told Lu Chen that it was the best decision for him. And he also blessed Lu Chen to marry Zahra. And he will try to help Lu Chen to get the blessing of his father, Jackson Lu.

Because he knew Jackson wasn't the one who could easily change his decision. All he knows is that Jackson only attaches importance to something that can benefit his business, including marriage. Until this moment Jiang Xi had not known Lu Chen's matchmaking plan from her ex-husband. Because from a long time ago the Lu family always used matchmaking as a way to bind cooperation.

And Jiang Xi knew, Jackson was the one who still held fast to the old ways. He had to find a million ways to make Lu Chen free from the matchmaking.
