Then he darted and appeared on top of the Golem

But it was useless because Bagas attack looks unstoppable and immediately detonated the lava Golem.

The reason Bagas did not use the other elemental abilities was that he wanted to familiarize himself with his Light element, because only in battle could he get used to it quickly.
