Chapter 43: An offer to Alesha

" Thank you for helping me" Aldo said.

" Aldo, call me papa" said Arifin, patting Aldo on the shoulder.

" Papa.." said Aldo who immediately embraced Arifin.

" Papa's again on the project, so can't video call." he said.

" Yes he will call again, the show is still a week away" said Merlin who defended the father.

Hours later, Arifin called them. But because of the time difference, they are already sound asleep.

Arifin immediately contacted Merlin, knowing that his wife must not have slept.

" Hello, Merlin!" call Arifin via her cell phone.

" Hello, is it pah?" merlin answered.

" What was Katie talking about?" ask Arifin.

" Alesha got an interview offer on national television" Merlin replied.

" Well good dong, mah!" said Arifin who was feeling happy.

" Yes, they want to tell papa. The show's next week." continued Merlin.

" Well, I'll go home with Aldo. All I want to do is surprise." said Arifin.

" What surprise, Pah?" ask Merlin.

" Secret, you'll know later. If you tell me now, so no surprise." joked Arifin.

" Ih papa, the same wife who is playing with secrets." said Merlin.
