For a moment Juan Pablo was silent and could not believe looking at Mia from a short distance away. He can also touch the brunette. However, the Latin man immediately regained his senses as Mia rushed up from above his body. Mia also tidied up and of course felt embarrassed, because it became the center of attention of the police officers who were there.
"Mother!" Miabella ran towards Mia and hugged her. Coco squinted with constant attention to Juan Pablo. It is clear in the ears of the curly-haired man that Juan Pablo called the late wife of Matteo by the name of Mia alone. The curiosity in Coco's heart re-emerged, and presented an increasingly large question mark.
Meanwhile, in a different place, tens of kilometers from where Mia was standing, Edward's car stopped in front of a small wooden house. The house is located on the edge of a lake surrounded by pine trees. Half-conscious, Adriano felt her shoulder being touched by the old man who had helped her willingly.
“Are you still able to walk? Otherwise, I'll get you a wheelchair,” Edward bargained.
“Wheel seat?” adriano lirih's.
“Yes, my nephew has a few wheelchairs here,” obviously the old man again.
Adriano also nodded. He felt too weak to walk, even if it was only a few steps. His strength seemed to have been drained. Not to mention the pain from all the wounds on the body that resulted in him losing quite a lot of blood. It's a marvelous miracle that he hasn't fallen unconscious, even though Adriano isn't really strong anymore.
“Wait a minute,” the old man's motion is still nimble. He rushed out of the car. Half-running, he entered the wooden house earlier. A moment later, a young man seemed to follow Edward from behind while pushing an empty wheelchair.
Although at that time Adriano's view began to feel increasingly blurry, but he was still able to pay attention to the man who was now struggling to approach him.
“Jeez, Uncle! Why do you always bring me trouble?” lamented the young man. “Where did you find it? Holy hooch! It seems like he lost a lot of blood! Look, his face is so pale!” the young man looked very worried as he opened the car door and moved Adriano's body into a wheelchair. He then encouraged Adriano who had been drooping, to immediately enter the garage that was next to the wooden house.
In there, there are several gurneys and all kinds of medical equipment. To make matters worse, the young man laid Adriano in one of the gurneys. After that, the young man opened a sterile glass cabinet and took out a container of infusion liquid.
“What human can also use that infusion?” chirps Edward who was doubtful.
“Of course, Uncle. This is a regular electrolyte liquid that serves to prevent patients from dehydration,” replied the young man explained.
“So, the animals can also be dehydrated. Are they also having problems with weight?” edward asked non-stop, disturbing the young man who was busy putting a hose and needle infusion on the back of Adriano's left hand.
“Already, Uncle. It's not important to talk about that, because the big problem now is how we do blood transfusions for this man. I need a universal blood type,” he said in a panic.
“Say, who do you want to contact? Let me call you,” bargain Edward.
The young man did not answer immediately. He thought for a moment, then mentioned a row of numbers. Edward pressed a button on the screen, according to what his nephew said.
“Halo,” heard the voice of the woman across there.
“Give me the phone. Let me do the talking,” the young man snatched the cell phone from the old man. “Gladys, bring me some universal blood type bags!” he said without further ado.
“Here the blood bank of humans, not animals!” said someone named Gladys that with an annoyed tone.
“I don't have time to argue with you at the moment,” snorted the young man. “Listen, yes. Let me clarify. Bring me a universal human blood type! I need a lot! Soon!” the young man again.
“What's the problem?” gladys tone of voice turned a little worried.
“What is he dead?” Edward screeched loudly.
The young man immediately checked Adriano's pulse, then shook his head. He immediately greeted a shoulder-length blonde girl who had just arrived there. The girl looked surprised to see a man who was lying with a body full of wounds.
“Quickly give it to me, Gladys!” the young man gestured to the girl who immediately walked over to him while carrying a medium-sized sterile box. The girl took out a few bags of blood and gave it to the young man.
“Help me, Gladys. We will do the operation now,” said the young man again. The blonde girl named Gladys immediately nodded and did as the young man had asked.
A few hours have passed. Adriano, who had been treated, had just opened his eyes. Tired and also sick all over the body, making the thirty-two-year-old man so comfortable on his bed with a slightly irregular breath. Not long after, a young man entered with a tray. Inside the tray, there was a plate filled with food and a glass of water. Adriano remembers the young man as Edward's nephew, the man who had helped him. However, Adriano had not had time to get acquainted directly, because the time arrived at the place he was almost unconscious.
"Hey. How are you doing?" greet the young man is friendly. He was sitting on a wooden chair he had taken from the corner of the room.
"Much better," replied Adriano slowly.
"My name is Russell Walsh. I'm uncle Edward's nephew, the man who brought you here. My uncle is leaving. I asked him to buy drugs into the city" said the young man.
“Thank you,” replied Adriano Iirih.
The young man named Russell smiled slightly. He still watched Adriano closely.“So, who are you really? How could you be hurt this badly? Are you the man who owns the burning car?” lick Russell.
“Where did you know that?” adriano's blue-eyed gaze, instantly sharpened towards him.
“The news is everywhere,” Russell grabbed the remote lying on top of the drawer, then turned on the television that was attached to the wall of the room. Russell changes channels in turn. Some TV stations showed news of the accident that Adriano drove. All told that the car was empty and no fatalities were found there.
“Mia,” sigh Adriano slowly.
“Who?” Russell looked astonished at the beautiful man.
“My wife,” says Adriano. “She must be very anxious at the moment,” he said with eyes glaring.
“Do you want to call him?” hail the young man.
“No, no. I'm afraid the phone was tapped. It would be better if I stay away from him for a while,” Adriano said lethargicly. I could not imagine the beautiful face of the woman in her heart. A vivid reminder in his memory, as Adriano hugged Mia's body tightly over the sofa in the hotel room.
“Why? Who the hell are you? The tattoo on your body, it seems not an ordinary tattoo,” Russell again flocked Adriano with many questions.
But Adriano chose not to answer. He closed his eyes tightly while pulling the blanket up to his chin. A little while later, Adriano opened her eyes and turned to Russell who remained unmoved as he continued to observe her.
“Allow me to stay here for a while,” Adriano's pinta without further ado.
"Yes, sure. You didn't ask that I wouldn't let you go in this condition" she replied. He then grabbed a plate filled with food. "Now, you better eat first. Tweet this. I made it," Russell thrust a plate filled with bubble and squeak at the time Adriano tried to get up. His stomach feels so hungry. Adriano must restore the energy that has been drained. He wanted to recover soon, so that he could quickly return to see his family.
