Chapter 4

After Smith's company, Caterin returned to his office with light steps and a smile that continued to expand from his lips.

Caterin continued to remember the events in William's office, he did not expect that William would defend him in the presence of an angel, even William did not intend to chase after the angel and leave it earlier.

Today Caterin decided to go home early and prepare dinner for William, she realized during William's time as wife she had never paid attention to her husband.

Caterin was always busy with his work, and so was William, though William always transferred monthly money to Caterin's account as a form of his responsibility as a husband.

Caterin was arranging food on the table heard the sound of the door opening, making Caterin turn and look William came to his approach.

William smiled approaching and hugged Caterin's body from behind, his embrace was able to cause a red hue on Caterin's cheeks.

Being treated like that makes Caterin feel like a real wife, one thing they haven't realized yet is the seeds of love that have grown in both hearts.

William offered his briefcase to Caterin, and Caterin welcomed him with pleasure, a major step forward in their relationship.

During this time William forbade Caterin to interfere with his life and even touch his belongings Caterin was not allowed. And maybe now William's giving it a chance.

" Let me keep it in your study" said Caterin.

" I'm going to clean up" William walked into his room while Caterin walked into William's study.

When entering William's study, Caterin saw a row of cabinets filled with so many books neatly arranged, there were also some paintings neatly displayed on the walls of the room.

Caterin continued to scan the entire room with her beautiful eyes, her gaze pausing on a picture frame that was behind her.

Caterin approaches the table and takes a picture of her, as she flips it turns out to be a photo of William's lover.

His heart felt slapped, for a moment he forgot the existence of the woman. Though William and Angel clearly love each other, he is only the third person among them.

" What are you doing" William jolted to make Caterin aghast in shock and accidentally dropped the picture frame in his hand, it provoked William's anger, William, william's face is now red on the cover of anger.

" What are you doing? It's a precious item to me" Hardik William was angry.

He pressed Caterin's shoulder firmly making Caterin grimace in pain he gave a sharp look that was so piercing, then pushed Caterin's body to the floor.

Caterin's head hit the end of the table until injured and bleeding, Caterin was unable to say he just locked his lips. His heart is really so bad right now.

" Next time don't touch my stuff "say William as it passes leaving the caterin.

After William completely exited Caterin began to cry sobbing, then he grabbed the scattered glass shards.

Caterin intended to clean the glass fragments but fate even his fingers were injured by the glass fragments. Then he looked back at the photo

" In his heart is already you, how could I think if William had accepted me as his wife" muttered Caterin softly with tears.

After removing the glass fragments Caterin went to the guest room and began to replace the picture frame with a new one.

After fixing his picture Caterin went into the bathroom and flushed his body for half an hour, Caterin wanted to remove a trace of his grief.

The pain in the body was not comparable to the pain in his heart, the tears flowed with the swift water, all this time Caterin always fortified his heart not to fall in love with William. But without him realizing his love was getting bigger for William, and that love is now hurting his heart.

Caterin finished her bathing ritual and immediately put on clothes, her body already shivering with coldness. He bandaged the wounds on his head and fingers.

Meanwhile, William who was currently in his study was pensive, thinking about his attitude towards Caterin. His heart was agitated and felt guilty.

Caterin decides to meet William to return the angel's picture frame, he also apologizes for ruining it. And Caterin said he wouldn't touch William's stuff again.

William looked at Caterin's face and his gaze was fixed on the plaster attached to his head.

" Is your wound still hurting? " ask William with guilt in his heart.

" No, it's just a small wound, I'm sorry for ruining the photo. I promise I will not touch your goods, and hopefully in the future we can undergo marriage according to the agreement" said Caterin coldly.

Caterin returned to the room but this time it was not his room and also William but the guest room, the guest room is also no less large than the main room Caterin can sleep comfortably there.

Caterin tried to contact his friend Raya

" Hello" hello

" Can we meet? if you have time, I'll wait in the usual place tomorrow" Caterin said.

" What's up? tanya.

" It's nothing, I just miss it" Caterin said, pretending to laugh.

" Okay" replied the general

Caterin disconnected her phone connection, she lay down and closed her eyes until she fell asleep.

While in the other room William was pensive for not seeing Caterin in his room, William thought that maybe this was the best way for them not to hurt each other, william loves Angel so much but he also wants Caterin to always be around him. Selfish no!!!

Caterin met with the highway at their subscription Cafe, currently they are waiting for orders.

" What happened to your head? " tanya was curious.

" It's just a small wound, I slipped in the bathroom" Caterin told a lie.

Caterin does not tell her about her problems with William but Raya realizes that something is wrong with her best friend, but she will not force Caterin to tell a story.

" You can't lie to me, it must be William" Raya said

" No, you take it easy" Caterin assured.

" Well" replied the general upset that his best friend was defending William.

" I miss you so much, I've been so busy lately that I can't see her. I don't know how it is now" said Caterin.

" You take it easy, mom must be fine, not after the surgery her condition began to improve" said raya calming.

" Thank you for always being there for me" said Caterin hugging Raya's body.

Raya is her best friend, she knows all the problems she faces including her marriage to William just because of a deal.

At that time Caterin who was in need of a lot of money for the cost of surgery and care of his mother was forced to accept William's offer to marry, he sacrificed his future for the recovery of his mother.

" You also have to think about your future" said Raya elaborating on the embrace.

" In less than six months I can get away from it" said Caterin turned his face and clenched his hands firmly.

" I will always support you, may you always be happy" said Raya smiling melted the atmosphere.

" Ok" replied Caterin.

They laughed together and enjoyed the food that had been delivered by the waiter.
