It did not take too long for the two women heroes, namely Sarti and Wong Ayu, to finish off the bodies of life that suddenly attacked them.
However, this does not mean that everything is done easily.
It could be said, previously Wong Ayu who spent the most of her inner strength to face the female demon spirit. Likewise, the half-dead Soemantri Soekrasana opens the gate to the supernatural world and gathers supernatural beings, including wandering spirits aka ghosts, jinn and demons. He also spent a lot of energy and swamp when having to bargain with these supernatural creatures.
Sarti though not having supernatural powers like Wong Ayu and Soemantri Soekrasana, still just like the others. He was completely out of combat power. Almost his face was torn by the bones of his fingers that ambushed endlessly. These undead only come to a halt when their heads are crushed or loose from their bodies. Though their skulls on average no longer contain, empty hopping, at most contain worms.
Sarti had already smeared the undead almost as much as Wong Ayu. But psychologically, his soul was calm and relaxed thinking it was over. This kind of thinking relaxes his body and is less alert. He also realized that he had not slept for how many days, just like his three other friends. His body loses speed and agility and his balance decreases dramatically. He can't even use his Saifi Wind aji.
Indeed he was the first to realize the approaching distress as they all had relaxed rested and let their guard down. However, it seems too late because still the movement can be said not to be on time.
Wong Ayu crashed down and leaned against the trunk of a tree.
Two other men, Soemantri Soekrasana and Anggalarang disappeared, falling down. Wong Ayu really hoped that the two people would be fine, because he himself began to be desperate and throw himself rolling on the grassy land.
It would be ridiculous if he were to die at the hands of the undead of this bastard who was like a defeated war remnant warrior.
There are still about ten undead that may not have died long ago. This can be seen from their rotten bodies whose flesh is still quite intact attached. They are different from hornbills which include frail and easily destroyed, although also quite dangerous considering their fingers are sharp because of the form of bones that are not infrequently sharp enough.
Sarti still had time to stick Baru Klinthing to the ears of one undead whose face was half destroyed, both cheeks were broken and contained clumps of earth and worms.
The blade of the short spear forced Sarti to go deeper, then he pulled it up so that the skull was removed from his body.
Sarti rolled away from the other undead and approached Wong Ayu who was still sitting on a tree.
"Wake up, Wong Ayu! We're done with all this" Sarti exclaimed. One hand reached for Wong Ayu's arm which then grabbed her, using it to help her stand up.
Just now that the two were ready to exhaust the final exertion, a figure with quick and prime movements moved behind the undead. The figure hit the heads of the undead until it was crushed with a single stomp. Not just one, but nine dead bodies fell scattered and did not move anymore. The movements of the mysterious figure were fast and measurable, just like the warriors known to Sarti and Wong Ayu when in prime condition.
The relief of being saved and the confusion of not knowing what really happened now turned into a shock accompanied by anger when both of them saw who the figure was.
That person is Affandi.
"I see you've been killed by a female demon who penetrated into the body of your thug friend!" wong Ayu said when he realized that the figure he knew well was what helped them.
"Sat! You're alive, Affandi," said Sarti growled. He's been wanting to kill these chief thugs for so long.
Astonishingly, if he does return to life, Affandi looks to have new magic skills that make it faster and agile. How not, in just a fraction of a second, the entire undead was exhausted in one buzz.
Sarti and Wong Ayu took a deep breath and clenched their jaws, preparing the horses.
Rattling sounds rang out behind them, Soemantri Soekrasana appeared followed by Anggalarang. The red kuntilanak has disappeared again.
Sarti, Wong Ayu and Affandi looked towards their arrival.
"I don't intend to be hostile to you guys" Affandi said suddenly. "I just passed by and saw you guys in trouble and tried to help."
Sarti laughed, a false laugh made intentionally, a sign of harassing the interlocutor.
The very old woman spat on the ground scornfully.
"Who do you think you are? We don't need your help to finish off the corpses of the living parts of your minions" replied Sarti rudely.
Soemantri Soekrasana approached towards Sarti and whispered something, "Hmm, Sarti ... He was helping Anggalarang who fell almost hit the sharp wood of the logging below. He captured Anggalarang and brought her back up here."
Sarti and Wong Ayu who also caught this conversation looked at Anggalarang who was nodding and smiling uneasily.
This fact definitely confused them. Why did Affandi help them by taking out the undead who were part of a group of female demons who ruled them? And most surprisingly, how did he come back to life?
"I don't want to deal with our problems before. Let me go and I guarantee we won't see each other again" Affandi continued.
"Suckers! You think you can just walk away?" this time it was Wong Ayu who spoke furiously. "You must account for all your crimes. With the figure of an adiwira like Gatotkaca, prison may be an option for you. But for me, you die quickly is already a blessing."
Soemantri Soekrasana wants to try to communicate with the figure in front of them and Wong Ayu in order to find the real answer. From the beginning he did not want blood to be shed.
"Wait, wait a minute, ma'am. It's good we listen to the reason," Soemantri Soekrasana told Wong Ayu.
Sarti was just about to chimed in, but Affandi's body had disappeared from sight leaving a whirlwind moving the grass. The four members of the Angkara Chess stood without a word, confused by what had just happened.
"Wind Saifi," muttered Sarti slowly, more to himself.
