The Angel Of Death

The Angel Of Death
Go home

Luna's world was turned upside down only in a period of time that she could not remember. He wakes up and finds himself in a room, in his parents' house. He recognized the room as his bedroom from childhood to adolescence.

"Oh, it hurts.." he lamented his forehead, trying to breathe a deep breath.

Feeling better, Luna lowered her leg. Climb the floor of the room and walk outside. The rest of the memories he had, were the quarrel last night with his father.

The girl asked for permission to go to college outside the city, but in reality, her father did not agree, because he was worried about the situation of the princess. Beloved children cannot be allowed to live far from them.

After all, the campus in his hometown is no less good.

"Finally you're up, son," his mother said, turning toward the steps she heard approaching the dining table in the kitchen. His mother smiled, then looked back at the dough he was working on.

"You want breakfast?" asked Noni, still in her soft voice. Sometimes Luna was surprised, why her mother's gentle attitude did not decline on her, precisely the attitude of dissent she got from the father.

"Where's dad?" ask him lazily.

"He was waiting for you to wake up, but you didn't go out of the room, so he decided to go to work" his mother explained.

"For what?" follow Luna. He's still trying to remember the rest of the fight last night, but why can't he remember? Precisely that floated filled his memory was only a figure of a man who was so handsome, but he was not familiar. He was sure that the man in his dream had never seen one, they had never met one at all.

"Of course to talk to you. I beg Lun, listen to your father's request. He did it because he couldn't be away from you. You're our only child, who may be able to part away from you. Listen, Son. In this city we also have a good campus. Choose a good campus in the city.

Without a word, Luna simply nodded. He had no choice, he would stay in this city forever.

***

Luna rushed down from the third floor, where she enrolled in her campus. After seeing the majors and also the faculty ternya good place, and Luna likes.

Luna was unsure, but she seemed to feel that someone was following her. Surprisingly when he looked around, there was no one behind him.

"Why did you say that?" Luna lift.

"Because I've always seen you moody, ever since I first met you. Don't you accept this match?" reiterate Kai who wants to convince the girl not to do things she doesn't like.

Back the look of a sad face was painted there. Every time they talked about their marriage, Luna would feel devastated. He wanted to say his heart.

"Right, I don't want it. I just want to marry Ben, I just love that guy. My heart and body just want me to dedicate to Ben one!"

However, all of that was just the courage he had to say in his heart and Luna cursed his astonishment.

"So yeah, I know maybe this is too soon for you or maybe you don't want to get married yet but Oma is hard to persuade if she wants to" said Kai who felt a little sad about the girl's honesty.

Luna looked down lethargic, it was true that no one could save her from this marriage.

"I may not be the perfect guy or maybe I'm not the kind of guy you like but I promise I'll try to be the best for you" Kai sat up, staring at Luna's face. The girl was still mute, her tears were spread by the side of the dress, so as not to drip on her cheeks.

"Lun, are you crying?" kai spontaneously cupped Luna's chin not when the man's eyes caught the clear drops that had slid on her smooth cheeks. Luna simply gasped, as she pulled away, the greater the guilt in Kai's heart.

"You're so distressed about this marriage, do you have a lover? If you've got a mooring, I'll talk to Oma, don't be afraid I'll cancel this wedding plan."

Luna's mind floated on Ben when she heard Kai say. He remembers what Ben said, if Kai cancels their marriage then Ben will punish him, not just get there, the man would also sell it to the old man who had wanted it for a long time and worst of all the band would leave him.

I swear by anything, Luna can't lose Ben. Her breath is Ben, she could die if the man leaves her.

"Jl, it's not like that. I am sad just because... Sad because... I remember my parents" he said looking for an alibi

"Oh, I think because there's been a lover of choice in your life. Don't be sad, they'll be happy to see you happy with this marriage. Lun, honestly one of the things I hate the most that I can't forgive in this life is betrayal with lies. Whatever your mistake I can forgive but not with lies" said Kai softly.

For a moment Luna was stunned, how sincere Kai felt about her. It could be felt but Luna also could not close her eyes she did not love the man and ironically Luna had deceived him raw.

"Why do you want to be betrothed to me? Isn't it with your looks and financial situation that you can get any woman?"

I don't know why Luna asked that. What's business? Didn't he care about the man's feelings?

"I'm not ashamed to admit it. The first time Oma asked to see you, I obviously refused. This was a matchmaking she had designed for the umpteenth time. However, for some reason at that time I did not understand but now I understand, maybe we are fooled. I mean we were meant to be together."

There was a pause after Kai's confession sentence, then he smiled looking at Luna's face, causing a great tremor to the bottom of the girl's heart.

"You may think I'm stupid, but that's okay. I fell in love with you the first time I met you. At first I wasn't sure if it was true love but over time I was sure that I did love you at first sight." Kai pulled Luna's hand tightly. The eyes of the two stared at each other, for a moment Luna was lost in the subtlety of the Emperor's speech.

"Marry me, Lun," he continued, taking the ring out of his pants pocket. The ring that was now on the Emperor's palm was thrust before Luna and once again Luna lost her tongue.

However, she quickly remembers Ben's words again to lure the man, marry him and make their plans come true and then goes away from the man before her.

"I'm willing."
