Chapter 36: The Aska Plan Outside Reason

Behind her desk with a view of the city of Jakarta, Aska sat there while tapping her finger staring at the mobile screen which is now displaying messages from mamah. There is still 30 minutes left before the meeting, Aska decided to contact the woman who was the subject of her conversation with her mother.

As Mega's mama said if she would help Aska in her mission approach with Dea, Aska got info from her mama if later tonight Dea would have a blind date. His mother is indeed a champion if looking for information like this.

The first call had no answer from there, Aska again called the owner of the same number.

Letting Dea go on a blind date with another man? Of course Aska wouldn't do it. Once the mama gave the info, Aska even immediately got the male biodata in a matter of less than 1 hour.

Famous lawyers with a high percentage of case winnings. Some Aska college friend companies have even used the services of this man.

Not even getting an answer, Aska now switched to sending a message to Dea. The woman may be on set or if not on set.

For a long time Aska did not get a reply from Dea, even until his secretary came and told him that the client had come and the meeting would begin.

Aska glanced towards the clock that was coiling in her hand. Info from mama, Dea will meet the man at 16:00. Before the work hours are over. And now the clock is showing at 16:10.

When one message notification entered his phone, Aska hurriedly opened it especially the sender is Dea. Aska's smile expands until her groomed white teeth are all visible. Not wanting to buy time, Aska grabbed her coat and car keys and walked out of the room. Dea sent me the full address of her blind date restaurant tonight. Isn't this as a code of request for help too?.

Dea tapped her finger on the table. Not only waiting for the date of the question bu called Abriel, Dea was even more waiting for the arrival of Aska that Dea hoped the man could come sooner than Abri.

Sip a little of his drink. Dea's backup went back to his cell phone. The message had been read by Aska but the man never answered. If asked to choose between Aska or Abriel to come together to Mela's feast, Dea clearly prefers Aska.

Hasn't Aska asked her out before? It was already proof that the man was indeed attracted to him. Although now, Dea was a little doubtful because there were no signs of Aska answering his message.

The sound of the door being shifted made Dea look back. Mamah Ajeng reserved a VIP room at this restaurant. The reason was obviously to keep his daughter's privacy.

A man in a black suit with a small badge on his chest. Tidy hair with a touch of gel as well as watches and bags that have a fairly famous brand, taking a position sitting in front of Dea with a friendly smile.

Dea who was still wearing a hat took it off while smiling back. Not a smile because you feel enchanted or happy, but a smile to maintain his image as a celebrity. Yeah, even though his career is in freefall right now.

"Abri"

Five seconds Abri's outstretched hand was only stared at by Dea. Arin's remarks that had reminded him to maintain his attitude made Dea shake Abri's hand.

"Dea"

"I'm sorry for waiting so long. There was a trial"

Dea nodded her head. His heart began to worry because Aska still did not answer his message. Has Aska given up now? Didn't Mamah Ajeng already give the man a yellow light?.

"Lately my work has been busy. But I'm trying to reduce today's hectic schedule to meet you."

If what he was facing was not the son of his mama friend, perhaps Dea's eyebrows had nosedived by now.

Abri's slow laughter made Dea's forehead furrow deeply, her eyebrows swooping sharply indicating that Dea amused herself to hear Abri's words just now.

Is he praising himself in front of others?.

"Men like you? Likewhat?"

"Someone who might be loyal"

Dea nodded her head while smiling.

"What about your job today?" ask Abri.

In my heart, Dea wanted to scream. However, considering what Abri's job might be that the man could not watch the gossip on tv, Dea held him back while sipping back a drink.

"As usual. Career from the start is very difficult"

"Let's get married and you don't have to work. That's what both of our cavemen expected"

Abri's words suddenly made Dea cough for a moment. His mother was always successful in giving a surprise to Dea.

With a smile and his calm demeanor, Abri opened a bottle of mineral water and gave it to Dea. From his attitude it was as if the man could guess this matter beforehand.

Both Dea and Abri, both of them turned their heads when the sound of the door being opened. Dea looked relieved while Abri frowned.

"Sorry I'm late" Aska said.

"Who?" asked Abri with a slightly cynical tone of voice.

"My love" did not answer Aska, but Dea who was now standing with her arms wrapped around her.

From a confused look, now Abri's face looks calm again, the man even smiled and then sat back in his chair. The face as if it could guess everything re-emerged which made Dea a little wary.

"Love?"

Dea nodded her head. Abri laughed softly. The corner of his lips lifted one that indicates if the man did not believe what he saw now.

"Why?"

"It's okay. It's just De. I think hiring someone to be a girlfriend on a blind date with someone else is the thing that's on the market"

"The act of distrusting others on a blind date is also not a good thing to do" Dea replied. Quite anxious because Aska was silent while enjoying the atmosphere now. Dea thought Aska would do something to silence Abri, answer Abri's words until the man was in a deep rage. But there Aska just silence without doing anything.

"Everything needs proof"

Dea was silent now. Obviously a figure like Abri who works in the field of law will not immediately believe if there is no evidence. And damn, Dea never even had a photo with Aska on her phone.

"Dea" call Aska slowly.

They have not lost, Dea can still escape from Abri, Aska must have a way for the man to believe.

That gentle call made Dea turn her head. For a moment Dea's body froze, his eyes perfectly rounded with such a rapid heartbeat. Dea forgot, since the beginning he had given the nickname to Aska as a crazy man. And now it really proves to be as crazy and determined as what Aska really is.

Aska kissed. Although only sticking for a while but able to make the world of Dea feel on the somersault instantly. Especially when Aska moved away while giving a smile that is not able to be explained by Dea's brain now.
