Chapter 32: The Armory Sect (1)

The statue inside the Armory was not Immortal Emperor Min Ren or the Elder who had outstanding contributions to the sect, but was made in the shape of a giant black crow.

The eagle statue spread its wings as if it wanted to fly across the nine heavens. His claws gripped two double blades made of mortal steel. This bar is the same type used to practice “Double Invisible Knife”.

No one knows how long this double blade has been here. They did not survive the torment of time; rust covered the edge of the blade, and it seemed as if both blades were about to break at any moment.

Li Han Tian looked at the statue in a daze. Perhaps he had forgotten this pose, but Immortal Emperor Min Ren had never done so. Despite having become an Immortal Emperor, Min Ren had never forgotten their first meeting.

“Let's go inside.” Li Han Tian regained his composure and entered into the Armory.

Inside the arsenal, there were all different types of Life Treasures and Longevity Treasures. The first level had ten thousand different weapons, but these were only made of steel mixed with low-level metals. This was a treasure with a relatively low value.

The weapons of a cultivator are divided into four types: first, common weapons; second, Longevity weapons; third, Life weapons; and last, True Weapons.

Common weapons meant for new students. These weapons were very common as they were made of mortal steel mixed with magical metals; they were not made from extremely rare materials. Although this weapon, in the eyes of humans, would be considered a heavenly weapon that could pierce through steel like mud, cultivators did not think too much about it. They could not fully utilize the power of the mysterious truth coming from the Grand Dao.

Technically, Longevity weapons are not considered traditional weapons. They were more precisely, treasures; even if they took the form of weapons. They are meant to extend a person's lifespan and feed the user's blood energy. That said, every cultivator would have at least one Longevity Treasure because it would feed their Life Wheel. It could also have an important supporting role in battle as it could quickly replenish the Life Wheel that was depleted during battle.

Life and True Weapons were the real strength of cultivators. They have good use in both defensive and offensive ways.

In the lifetime of a cultivator, they could possess many different Life Treasures and even inherit the Life Treasures from others. However, they could only possess one True Treasure because these treasures were directly connected to their True Souls; true Treasures and True Souls directly strengthened and supported each other, respectively, and a True Treasure, once associated with a cultivator, could not be inherited by another cultivator.

Although a cultivator had to create his own True Treasure and use it for the rest of his life, the power of a True Treasure far exceeded an ordinary Life Treasure. Even if it was the same class, a True Treasure would annihilate the Treasure of Life in the blink of an eye.

Some of the weapons of the first level were common weapons such as the Profound Steel Sword, Icy Crescent Sabre, and Meteoric Claws, while Life weapons ranged from the Shan He Pagoda and the Demon Killing Circle, respectively, the Jiang Jiao Staff.

There were also some True weapons such as the Heavenly God Stone, the Bloody Sky Rope, and the Fierce Sun Calligraphy Pen.

All of these True Lives and Treasures had extremely low grades; thus, every third generation disciple could choose from them. The disciples with contributions could choose from the second level instead.

While walking on the first level, Li Han Tian noticed the killing aura of these treasures and their ability to absorb Grand Dao energy.

He took his time looking at each one, and he then casually went to the second level. The second level only contained Life and True weapons with ranks higher than the first level.

However, Li Han Tian had also only seen each weapon once. He did not choose any of them, and they rose to level three.

Seeing Li Han Tian enter the third level, many disciples who chose their weapons were jealous. Life weapons and True weapons were connected to the cultivators who used them. It was better for an Inner Longevity cultivator to choose an Inner Longevity weapon.

“See, this Long Life Wheel Jiu Lu!” Nan Huairen introduced: “Senior, this wheel is made from the life ring of Jiu Lu's longevity beast, and he inherited the power of this beast; if you use this wheel to feed the essence of your life, then you will be able to feed the life of the animal, it will purify the power of your blood.

Because Nan Huairen was friendly and social, unlike his master, Elder Sun liked him very much.
