2. The Pendu the Mysterious Figure

Namo ran and entered his house, he initially wanted to tell the chief about the cave.

But after seeing the condition of his wife and child who had started to get cold and many mosquitoes that bit their skin Namo also immediately led his wife to follow him.

"Nonai I found a cave for us to live in while, let's come with me".

Nonai did not ask much and simply nodded his head and prepared to depart.

The little family rushed to the mysterious cave. The location is far enough that the husband and wife also alternately carry their children.

A few hours later they reached the bottom of the cave. At first Namo was confused about the way they climbed to the top but at the moment there are many powerful roots that help them climb into the cave.

Namo did not have time to talk about the existence of a mysterious figure named pendu master of the cave owner. Because he was afraid to scare his wife so that his wife would not be invited to live in the cave.

"I'm sorry my husband, cave owner, let my husband and son leave this cave, I'm the one who became the victim because of my husband's negligence, because it disturbs your calm"

Nonai is basically a smart woman which is why she guessed what had already happened. Nonai had heard a story from his father

There is a creature that should not be disturbed because those who disturb will die before they realize what happened.

That's why Nonai immediately asked for mercy on the mysterious figure.

Nonai kowtowed and cried but only a very old-fashioned laugh in return.

Nonai was increasingly doubtful of course Namo was a little worried.

"Don't worry, I'm accepting you're not here to kill you. You can stay here until your village doesn't flood anymore but I have conditions for you"

The couple without much thought answered immediately. Namo who was a little worried at first became even more worried at this moment.

At first he thought that Mr. Pendu was a good figure as it turned out.

Nonai immediately stopped crying but still sobbed and spoke.

Nonai who was still sobbing confirmed his position and sat respectfully on the figure in the cave.

Mr. Pendu was inside the dark end of the cave despite the light from the campfire but the end of the cave was still not visible, that's why Namo and Nonai could not see what kind of Mr. Pendu.

"Make yourself comfortable, you, I'm just reminding you guys not to get too into this cave because there's my seal that makes a human die when it touches the limit is the tip of the symbol on the wall of this cave"

The married couple was really afraid of the Pendu master figure. That is why they are so obedient to his orders.

When Namo and Nonai had improved and started lying on the floor of the cave barefoot, and only their babies were wearing only the leaves for the base. Mr. Pendu also spoke, making the husband and wife immediately sit down and answer.

As they finished speaking many roots grew from the ground and formed a large root bed.

After Mr. Pendu finished talking the two couples saw there was a large bed made of small roots but they were very numerous and wrapped around each other.

The two couples began to shed tears, they really did not expect that the mysterious figure was very kind, and noticed them.

After saying thank you, the couple took their child and placed it on the root bed, they began to lie down on the root bed

"Comfortable?"

Moments later Mr. Pendu's voice sounded again.

"It is very convenient sir, we owe you a lot" replied Namo

"Don't owe it to me, you won't be able to repay it. Just accept it and enjoy it"

Hearing that reply Namo smiled wryly and thanked him again.

"Sleep I won't bother you anymore"

After Mr. Pendu finished talking the green symbol on the wall was gone making Namo and Nonai feel a little relieved and began to feel comfortable.
