Chapter 7: First Assignment Completed

“Alaa..name Betty again best,” sad face Shasya Edrina.

“Kitty's name isn't best to?” about Ismail Razak.

“She is not a cat, Raz,” amused the heart of Nur Halimah.

“What's hard. Call her ‘A’ and she's ni ‘B’. After the story,” during Tengku Ehsan.

“Why ni?” strange Siti Syazanah when seeing the relatively tense situation after arriving in the area.

Nik Akhil arrived there. He was also strange to see his friends were clashing their tongues. Didn't he and Siti Shazanah get angry because they stabbed their tongues? Thought it in the heart.

“We are thinking of names for these two creatures,” Nur Halimah said.

“Syaza, set Betty's name, right?” about Shasya Edrina on Siti Shazanah.

“Kitty's name is good too, right, Syaza?” the Slit of Ismail Razak.

“Alaa..call si ‘A’ and si ‘B’ jelah,” bidas Tengku Ehsan anyway.

“Err..,” hesitate Siti Shazanah to answer.

His eyes were thrown at Nik Akhil for help.

“Nak is glad we combined with that name. Sekor Akitty and sekor again Betty,” spare Nik Akhil who was reluctant to add the affair.

Everyone quietly heard Nik Akhil's proposal.

“Good too. Sedap tu name,” cheerful face Shasya Edrina.

“Can hold too,” support Ismail Razak.

“I also agree with that name,” agree Tengku Ehsan.

“Akitty and Betty? Come and name it,” smile Nur Halimah while looking at the faces of two creatures that are rolling on the dry leaves.

Siti Shazanah smiled as she raised the thumb of her right hand on Nik Akhil. Amused heart Nik Akhil saw the carelessness of his dream girl.

“People are doing well to?” about Tengku Ehsan when he saw the cheerful faces of Nik Akhil and Siti Shazanah.

“We did not fight,” reply Nik Akhil who returned cold-faced.

“Excuse us for distressing all of these,” Siti Syazanah regrets.

“What's wrong,” synchronously others.

Nik Akhil approaches a creature called Akitty. The creature's head was gently rubbed. Akitty fun can be caressed by Nik Akhil.

“I'm sorry for the pounding you earlier,” slowly sound Nik Akhil while a smile on the lips.

Siti Shazanah who heard the delicate voice of Nik Akhil also smiled. Didn't expect Nik Akhil to keep his promise.

“Why smile at this, Syaza?” weird Shasya Edrina saw the girl.

“Tak nothing. So, what's our assignment?” he deliberately changed the topic.

“This is what we want to start our story. Let's sit down first,” excited Tengku Ehsan.

“Akil!” call Ismail Razak before Nik Akhil joins the circle.

“Tadi, while we were looking for edible fruits, we found a spacious area. The trees were cut down using sharp tools. We suspect, Akitty and Betty who did all that,” Tengku Ehsan story.

“We also found a spacious area as well but there are some new tree children growing je kat situ,” Shasya Edrina gap.

“Where does Ed look?” surprised Ismail Razak for not realizing it.

“Hehe. Remember what I said saw something at the bush? I saw a spacious area there,” gaped Ismail Razak's mouth.

“Great eyes Ed,” amazed Ismail Razak.

“Bias. I am indeed good at taking care of my eyes,” proud Shasya Edrina.

“Ok ok. So, what conclusion can I make?” ask Nik Akhil.

“Ima,” Tengku Ehsan gestured to Nur Halimah who was sitting next to him but there was still a distance between the two of them.

“Ehem. Based on what we've come across and gone through, Akitty and Betty are hearingless creatures. They are responsible for destroying old trees and being replaced with new ones.

I'm sure they have weapons to cut down and to scrape holes based on what we can see in the treehouse. Surely Mila and Shahril created a tool for them,” diligently they heard the theory of Nur Halimah.

“I think what Ima said earlier is true as well. We saw them fighting with swords. It is also possible that the sword was used to cut trees. Only, I am not sure whether it is a sword or not,” said Siti Syazanah.

“For one, we also saw one of them there was carrying an instrument like a hoe to dig a hole. It is impossible that this theory can be used,” continued Nik Akhil.

“If it is true what you are saying, why are they fighting with each other?” about Shasya Edrina.

“It seems, we all already understand our situation now. So, what do we need to do now?” luah Tengku Ehsan's.

“Before that, Ima, I want to ask. How does Ima know that this creature cannot hear?” doubt Ismail Razak.

All eyes looked at Nur Halimah to get an answer.

“Based on your story, I can feel something strange on these two creatures. When I can tell they can't hear, I try to get close to them. I've read how to communicate with people with no sense of hearing.

“Good. I suggest we take a look at the tools Akitty and Betty used first. After that, we think about the next strategy. Any objections?” spares Ismail Razak who has the nature of leadership.

“I agree,” agree they reply.

After that, by following Akitty and Betty, they were taken to the spacious area that Tengku Ehsan said earlier.

“Tap ‘pedang’ them?” Nik Akhil saw two blades like a sword not far from the rotten trees.

They are approaching the ‘pedang’. The size of ‘pedang’ is rather large according to the size of the creature's hand. Akitty and Bbetty who are from six humans are diligent to see ‘pedang’ they continue to approach and lift ‘pedang’ each.

“What are they doing?” worry Shasya Edrina when the two creatures start swinging the ‘sword’.

Squeezed their eyes when the ‘pedang’ turned into ‘cangkul’ suddenly.

“Great creation Mila and Shahril!” amazed Ismail Razak.

“Eh eh? What are they doing?” retreated Tengku Ehsan when the two beings began to look at each other.

“They want to compete ‘pedang’?! Quickly block them!” they were worried when they heard the words of Nur Halimah.

The six of them stood between the two creatures. Nik Akhil, Ismail Razak and Siti Shazanah blocked Akitty while Nur Halimah, Shasya Edrina and Tengku Ehsan blocked Betty. Each one put their hands together.

The two creatures looked at them.

“I think they consider it as a game only,” puzzle Tengku Ehsan.

“We have to act. Nik Akhil, pretend to hit Raz for ni wood,” towards Siti Syazanah after picking up a branch near her feet.

“After that, Raz pretended to be sick and showed those facial ripples to the two of them,” continued Siti Syazanah.

They got along with the orders of Siti Shazanah while the other friends had already retreated a little from the place.

Nik Akhil hit Ismail Razak with the wooden branch. He makes a force like a strong hit but he had time to slow down his strength when it hit the hands of Ismail Razak. Then, Ismail Razak rubbed the place of the blow along with a very sad face while looking at the faces of the two creatures.

The two creatures, like understanding the play, continued to put their ‘pedang’ on the ground after Nik Akhil put the branch down.

“They understand!” happy all.

Finished teaching Akitty and Betty using that ‘pedang’ in the right way, they returned to the tree house.

“His weight!” their fatigue.

Their bodies were kept on the floor when they arrived at the tree house. The atmosphere became sloppy.

“Ni place no night time to?” tengku Ehsan.

“That's. I also thought too. Nature has no sun but we can feel the light of the sun. Nature also has no rain and no water source but there are fruits that can quench thirst. What a mystery of nature,” said Ismail Razak.

“Has our assignment just finished?” about Shasya Edrina all of a sudden.

Siti Shazanah who silenced herself saw something flashing on the wall. He woke up from the bed.

Siti Syazanah continued to sit while clinging to the wall of the tree. Eyes closed.

“Argh!” shrieked Shasya Edrina while peeking at her ears using her hands. His eyes were tightly closed.

A minute later, the shaking began to stop. Light began to shine on the area.

The men opened their eyes while looking at their surroundings. No changes have occurred. Then, eyes were diverted on the girl who was beside them.

They were accompanying each other because they were worried that something bad was happening to them.
