Vol.2 Chapter.12 Conflict

Patriarch Chen who was in a furious state saw Xu Xiaoyao, the more he looked the more he felt strange and angry.

Patriarch Chen felt it was very unreasonable that the person in front of him had the ability to kill his child, even though from the info he got the perpetrator was actually a pet monster belonging to the person in front of him.

But it was very clear there was no way an ordinary human could tame a monster. This made Patriarch Chen even more suspicious of any conspiracy against their Chen family.

“It seems that you were involved with the murder of my son, now you bow down and beg me for forgiveness, and mention who is the person behind you” Patriarch Chen said in a commanding tone.

Xu Xiaoyao felt strange when he heard the words of patriarch Chen.

“Why this guy is mentally retarded. Assuming there is someone behind me and why people in this world love to have others bow down before him” Xu Xiaoyao muttered in astonishment.

Xu Xiaoyao sighed for a moment, then he looked at Patriarch Chen.

“Are you the patriarch of the Chen family ?” ask Xu Xiaoyao.

“True, I'm Chen Lu. The Patriarch of the Chen Family. Since you already know this, why are you still not prostrating?” with Arogan Patriarch Chen said to Xu Xiaoyao.

Xu Xiaoyao frowned and looked at Patriarch Chen strangely.

“Hey, why do you like to make others bow down, and I admire your thoughts that assume there is someone else behind me.

Patriarch Chen was increasingly displeased with Xu Xiaoyao's attitude.

As Patriarch Chen was in a furious state, the first elder spoke up reminiscently.

A group of Chen family members immediately moved to surround Xu Xiaoyao.

The besieged Xu Xiaoyao only smiled sinisterly while shaking her head.

However, just as the Chen family was about to attack, Qian Ruyan appeared with Grandma Ju.

“Wait!” shouted Qian Ruyan.

Instantly everyone including Patriarch Chen saw who was shouting. When they saw who was screaming.

They become very Shock. Because the one who shouted was Qian Ruyan, the most mysterious person in the 4 seas chamber of commerce.

Patriarch Chen who saw the appearance of Qian Ruyan could only come over.

“Nona Qian, what are you doing to interfere with my business ?” asked Patriarch Chen unhappily.

“Luck patriarch Chen, I have little need with this person” Qian Ruyan replied as she pointed at Xu Xiaoyao.

Patriarch Chen became unhappy with Qian Ruyan's attitude.

“Miss Qian, I don't know what your dealings with this person are, but me and him have something you can't bother” Patriarch Chen said in a displeased tone.

“Just relax Patriarch Chen. I'm not gonna bother you. My business with this man is only limited to transaction”, Qian Ruyan said.

“Good, then finish it immediately. Once you're done don't disturb us” Patriarch Chen reminded.

Qian Ruyan smiled in response to Patriarch Chen. After that he faced Xu Xiaoyao.

“Master Xu, we meet again” greet Qian Ruyan.

“Hmp” nods Xu Xiaoyao.

“Master Xu, my previous offer is still valid. As long as you are willing to hand over the tiger cub, then I will protect you from the Chen Family. How ?” qian Ruyan said offering protection.

As Qian Ruyan said that, Patriarch Chen immediately shouted in anger.

“Nona Qian! what do you mean by giving protection to the boy ?” shouted Patriarch Chen furiously.

“Do you not consider the Chen Family at all?” patriarch Chen asked in a furious tone.

Qian Ruyan smiled in response to Patriarch Chen.

“As I said before, I have only a few transactions with this person.As for your affairs, as long as it does not interfere with my affairs, I will not disturb” QIan Ruyan explained in a calm tone.

“Nona Qian! obviously this has disrupted my dealings with the boy. What do you mean give her protection?” the Patriarch Chen.

“It all depends on Mr. Xu's answer. If he accepts my offer, then I am forced to make Patriarch Chen offended” Qian Ruyan said confidently.

“You! did you deliberately target our Chen family?!” shouted the Patriarch furiously.

A cold snort sounded and instantly suppressed the entire person on set.

Thinking that there was a Holy King beside Qian Ruyan, Patriarch Chen became frightened and nervous. There is no way that he became an enemy of a Holy Kim just because he wanted to catch the perpetrator of the murder of his son.

Then he looked at Xu Xiaoyao.

“How is Mr Xu ?, it seems like the offer I gave was not bad. With my protection, there is no way anyone can threaten you” Qian ruyan said confidently.

Xu Xiaoyao from start to finish could only shake his head.

Grandma Ju understood what Qian Ruyan meant. The two of them immediately left the location. Meanwhile Patriarch Chen finally got up after Grandma Ju left.

Seeing Qian Ruyan leave but not with Xu Xiaoyao, this proved that there was no agreement between them.
