"Yes, yes ma'am" replied Alle stammered. Then he greeted Wijaya and handed the parcel to Mary's mother.
"Your daughter is very pretty as it turns out" said Wijaya who looked at Alle and then sat in her chair.
"You know his father is also this handsome" replied Martin arrogantly.
"Be proud in your thoughts" said Wijaya who already knew if it was true.
The flashback
When Dipta and Alle were at the restaurant this afternoon, Dipta told Alle all his complaints. He told her that he was urged to get married as soon as possible and that his parents would match him to the woman of his parents' choice.
"Then, what did you bring me here for?" said Alle, who did not understand where the conversation was going.
"Yes, I understand that in this situation you are very poor. I don't know what to give you, because I'm going through that too. So what do you want to say to me"? Alle also told him the situation he thought was unreasonable.
" you're gonna get married, too?" ask Dipta who made sure that he did not hear wrong what Alle said. Alle just nodded her head in a sign of asserting it.

"Ah 'ha. I know what to do" said Dipta, snapping two fingers until he let out a sound.
"What?" ask Alle adjustment.
"Why don't we pretend to be a couple. I mean if my parents want to meet me with the woman of their choice. Then I'll say that you're my girlfriend. And if you need me too for that, then I'll pretend to be your girlfriend" Dipta explained the purpose.
"A good idea. Ok I agree" replied Alle by extending her hand to the point that they agreed.
"Alright now we will help each other save themselves" said Dipta who also reached out his hand shook Alle's hand.
"Deal?" continued,
"Deal" said Alle and they ended the meeting and immediately returned to their homes.
