Thank you, Samuel

Thank you, Samuel
eleven

Olive stared at her phone screen lazily, from earlier Mark called her but always Olive ignored. Olive put her phone just around the back. Suddenly there was the sound of a house bell directly connected to his room.

Olive ignored her phone that kept ringing because of the incoming chat notification from Mark. A drop of tears began to flow from Olive's eye fertilizers. Olive instantly wiped away her rough tears.

He was still upset about Mark's words in the park. So all this time Mark considered himself a pathetic anti-social?

Olive wondered how pitiful she was in Mark's eyes now?

Actually Olive has not forgiven Mark's attitude that suddenly changed weeks ago. Olive was still feeling upset and a little hurt given Mark's extremely cold attitude back then.

If you know this, Olive chooses not to know the explanation of Mark.

Olive got up and walked slowly to the dresser. He sat and looked at his reflection in the mirror.

'Unfortunately I'm pathetic what the hell is in her eyes?'

Olive kept looking at her shadow. Staring at her face made Olive think of her mother, a drop of tears began to flow again wetting Olive's cheeks.

Seeing her face that was very similar to her mother, made Olive become longing for her mother figure back.

As she dissolves into her daydream, Olive accidentally captures a rubik on her dresser. And that made Olive's mind drift on the scene 10 years ago, a time when she was still sitting on a kindergarten bench.

*Flashback on*

*Olive looked blankly at both of her legs. Now it was school time, and now he was sitting on the swing waiting for his driver to come.

Olive's views then began to address other children who were being picked up by their parents. Seeing such a scene, made the look on Olive's face gloomy and sad.

Inwardly, he wanted to feel like they were always picked up by his parents. Olive was still looking at them until the school was deserted. He is still faithfully sitting waiting for his driver who has not come yet.

Kindergarten teachers who saw him had tried to persuade him to be escorted home but Olive still refused. Olive then looked at her watch to see what time it was.

He waited for about an hour but the driver did not arrive. Olive complained of being upset, but she chose to stay seated waiting for the driver to arrive.

Suddenly Olive was crying softly while looking down. Soon a large lollipop was in front of him which made him look up.

"Do you want some candy? I was given this same teacher, but I love you" said his friend who Olive did not know what her name was.

Maybe because he was not in class with the man so Olive did not know him. Olive then fell silent for a while, and she accepted the candy.

"Thank you" said Olive who made the boy smile. Seeing the boy smiling brightly, made Olive involuntarily pull the corner of her lips as well.

"Why haven't you come home yet?" ask the boy.

"I'm waiting for Dede again, but I haven't come by now either." replied Olive while the boy was only oh-ria.

"If you? Why haven't you come home yet?" ask Olive back. The boy then sat on the swing beside Olive.

"I'm waiting for you, you go to the toilet again" replied the boy who made Olive nod.

"Sammy! Come home baby" suddenly a woman who seems to be Sammy's mother screams that makes Sammy immediately reply.

"Yes Bun!" sahut the boy.

"I'm going home first huh, bye!" cut off the boy while waving his hand. Olive returned a wave of her hand with a smile.

"Because Sammy!!" shouted Olive after knowing the name of the boy earlier.

Shortly after Sammy leaves, Olive's driver arrives to pick up Olive. The driver immediately apologized because the car tire suddenly leaked which made him have to go to the workshop first. Olive nodded in admiration because she did not feel angry at all.

The presence of the child made him suddenly forget his sadness earlier.

***flashback off**

Since the middle of SD, Olive has never seen Sammy again. Though not one class they still always play together if there is time. It seems like Sammy was transferring schools because Olive never saw Sammy again at school.

"Sammy.. Where are you now?"

Samuel threw his bag around and laid his body on the bed. He sighed heavily while rubbing his face rough. Actually he is still upset about his conversation with Mark while at the house of Revelation yesterday.

*Flashback on*

"*Eh konah, I want to talk to you." said Samuel who made Mark look at him with a lazy look.

"You can't write my name!" annoyed Mark but not Samuel ignored.

"Gue wants to take it seriously ama lo." now it's Samuel's unheeded turn.

"Leave to say nothing much style." circus Mark with his eyes constantly focused on the TV screen.

"Well, play ps mulu anj*ng! How am I going to say it seriously?!"

"Surely you're like a girl."

"Yes, you are the Markonah!"

"Pepet talking!" Mark chose to put the stick psnya first and sat facing Samuel.

"Lo, what's the problem with Olive?" samuel asked, which made Mark speechless.

"Kepo you ah kayak Revelation."

"Serious cave!" samuel's assertion made Mark speechless again.

"Lo don't interfere, it's my business with Olive's." replied Mark coldly.

"But Olive's business is my business too!" samuel said somewhat snapping. Mark slammed the stick and faced Samuel.

"Lo who is he, huh?! What right do you have to take care of him?!" mark snapped which made Samuel grit his teeth.

"Gue isn't who he is, but you can't just hurt Olive while she's not wrong at all!" samuel replied no less coldly.

Mark laughed softly, "You know what you're doing about him? Mending you don't have to interfere. Ingets. You are not who he is." said Mark with a piercing tone. After saying that, Mark got up to pick up his bag and walked out of the house of Revelation.

While Samuel was still sitting on the sofa clenching his hands withholding emotions.

***flashback off**

Samuel then chose to play rubik alone to eliminate his fatigue, he was good at playing rubik and had collected various types of rubik.

After shuffling and finishing recalculating the color of each side of the rubik, Samuel lifted the rubik and looked at him with a sad look.

He remembered he had given his favorite rubik that he got from his late brother, James. He gave his favorite rubik to his best friend when he was a child, Vivian.

At that moment he saw Vivian crying alone in the school park, he sat next to her. He asked why Vivian was crying. And Vivian replied her parents would go abroad in a very long time.

Vivian says she'll just stay with the maid and the driver. His parents brought his brother. Vivian had been whining to her parents to follow them but her parents still did not give her permission.

Vivian said her parents said she was a big girl and that she should take care of herself. His parents also said that his brother came only because he would undergo the treatment process.

Samuel who at that time only heard it could only be silent while looking at the ruby. Samuel then tried to entertain Vivian but did not succeed, finally Samuel chose to give his favorite rubik to Vivian.

Samuel said that every time he felt sad he always played rubik to relieve his sadness. Vivian nodded and accepted the ruby. But because of her sudden change of school, she never saw the girl again until now.
