Aurora rolled her eyes lazily, choosing to sit on the sofa while putting both of her legs on the table, ignoring Alby who threw a sharp glare at her.

"What do you really think of Aurora? You want to destroy your future?"

Aurora closed her eyes— put her hand on her forehead and said, "My future has been ruined since my father married me a week ago". Tucked in a mocking tone in that sentence made Alby frown his forehead.

"So you blame me? I told you already that in this marriage I won't curb you, but after seeing you behave like this in school I couldn't possibly just ignore it".

"So indirectly you want to say that you are ashamed to have a wife who is my model? What to do in marriage!". Aurora ketus. The girl who had a gaze as sharp as an eagle snorted. Sucks.

Alby exhaled slowly and sat down beside Aurora— trying to understand Aurora's volatile nature. "That's not what I meant by Ara. I just don't want your future to be ruined just because of your own behavior".

Aurora clucked lazily about to reply to Alby's words before a knock on the door caught their attention. Alby stood towards the door and found Darwin—'s mother a counselling teacher who stood firm while holding a thick notebook in her hand.

"Please enter the buk". Alby politely gave way in.

Darwin's mother nodded slowly and entered to find Aurora sitting on the sofa while holding hands with closed eyes.

This kid always sleeps anywhere if there's a chance.

"Aurora Bagaskara!".

Aurora opened her eyes, and Darwin was already standing in front of her with his eyes staring.

"Until when will you continue to behave like this Aurora! You should have entered the university this year, but because of your behavior, the minus value given by each teacher makes you fail to graduate". Fizz bu Darwin. Angrier. Aurora scratched her ears in annoyance with Darwin's deafening loud voice.

Alby sighed and walked towards Darwin. "For the future I will guide Aurora so that she does not repeat the same mistake again". Her speech. Aurora stared hard at Alby but the man ignored her.

"Then I say yes sir". Said buk Darwin. "And you are Aurora..." Aurora puffed up lazily. "Repair your attitude from now on!". After saying that Darwin's mother breezed away leaving Aurora with an unusually upset look.

Why does everyone seem to judge Aurora about what is right and not for her. He alone knows better what he wants. Everyone just interfered.

"Have you heard what Darwin said?".

Aurora hissed angrily looking at Alby. "Geez! Not listening!". Pekik angry. Aurora leaves Alby's room before the man blocks her hand.

"Where are you going?".

"It's not father's business!". Aurora flat— blurted out Alby's hand and then exited the room with the door shut loudly making a loud thud.

Alby breathed tired. Until when Aurora will be like this. Alby pulls the phone out of his pocket, searches for Aurora's name in the contact and sends her a message.

What happened to Alby?

Why did the man suddenly care so much about Aurora?
