Fariz turned his eyes, looking around to erase his nervousness. Nia did the same thing, their heart seemed to play a drum very fast.
From behind, their parents saw and listened to what Nia and Fariz were talking about. They just looked at each other, then Suhendar said to immediately propose to Nia for Fariz.
"I want them to get engaged and get married!" suhendar said firmly.
Mr. Siddiq, Ms. Nurmala and Ms. Sofi just looked at each other and nodded in agreement to Suhendar's words.
"Fariz, Nia!" call sir Siddiq
They looked back at the source of the sound.
"Yes yeah." answered Nia
"Let's go in, we have something to talk about!" said mr. Siddiq.
Nia and Fariz looked at each other, confused as to what their parents would talk about.
"Let's go in!" take Nia while standing up.
"Yes, you go first. I'm catching up!" answer Fariz.
Nia just nodded then left Fariz, not knowing what she was feeling right now. He felt a strange sense after looking at each other with Fariz. Are the strands of love beginning to grow?
Kenepa this fast? apaa..ahh is impossible! muttered Nia was upset in the heart.
Nia was sitting between her parents, and on the sofa they were both Fariz's parents.
"Where's Fariz?" ask Suhendar sir.
"So he said follow om." replied Nia while slightly lowered her head.
"Good!" said Mr. Suhendar.
Shortly thereafter, Fariz entered the living room and sat down between her parents. His eyes looked back at Nia, then turned his eyes out. To avoid looking at Nia, because she knew that even Nia must be feeling uncomfortable with that gaze.
"Okay, let's just get started! because it's all here." Suhendar opened his voice.
"Papa wants to match you with Nia!" suhendar.
"Geez, what's wrong. If that's papa and amma have repeatedly said the same Fariz!" Fariz was about to get up from his seat but was detained by his mother.
"And today.." Suhendar looked towards Sofi, Hendrawan, Nurmala then Nia.
Bu Sofi, Mr. Siddiq and Ms. Nurmala just nodded and smiled signifying to continue the conversation Suhendar.
"What's the pah?" fariz asked again without looking at his papa.
"Today, papa and mama will propose to Nia for you!" continued Mr. Suhendar.
"What pah?! nglamar Nia ? for Fariz?!" Fariz.
"Yes Fariz!" answer to Ms. Nurmala.
Nia was also surprised by what Suhendar said, she was not too ready for all this. Especially if you have to get married, how is school?.
"Mom and Dad can't be rich donk! You guys don't have any talks with Fariz? after all does Nia agree to this engagement?!" while looking at Nia.
Nia slightly shook her head then lowered her head, she felt mixed up now.
"Nia would've agreed to Fariz! om convince it!" slap his palm onto Nia's shoulder "Yes, son!" siddiq continued, then turned to look towards Nia.
Nia's eyes started to glaze over and nodded slowly, she couldn't say no. He was afraid that his father would be embarrassed to refuse Mr. Suhendar's words. Fariz sat down and rubbed his face rough.
"Good! this Sunday, we have our children's engagement officially. And then immediately determine their wedding date. I hope all these good intentions go well!" said Mr. Suhendar firmly.
Nia continued to look down while continuing to hold back her tears that had piled up earlier. His world seemed to rotate rapidly, his vision turning black. His body became limp and could not support him properly, his body jerked back. Those who saw it immediately woke Nia, but there was no response from Nia. Mr. Siddiq lifted up and brought the tiny body of his daughter into the room.
Bu Nurmala and Bu Sofi and Mr. Suhendar and Fariz followed from behind. Mr. Suhendar felt guilty, he felt Nia must be in shock with this sudden decision. Suhendar immediately apologized with Mr. Siddiq and Nurmala's mother, because he Nia collapsed. But Mr. Siddiq and Ms. Nurmala did not blame Mr. Suhendar, because they felt bad because Suhendar blamed himself.
Then after taking Nia to her room, they returned to the living room and continued the official event plans for Nia and Fariz's engagement. Fariz was only speechless given the recent events, Nia whom he knew at school and at home was very different. While at school Nia was very jovial and full of spirit, but Nia who was in front of her was now so fragile and weak.
