Faintly, Tania's sense of hearing caught the voices of several men who were talking and laughing together. It might not be in the room Tania was in. Suddenly, the girl got up from the bed and checked around with her senses.

An infusion tube with a needle stuck in the back of his left hand gives a slight sensation of pain as he moves haphazardly. And, as soon as he was about to lower his legs from the bed which turned out to be quite high, dizziness suddenly whack and make him completely lose balance and eventually fall into a humid fall.

The noise was created when Tania fell to the floor and resulted in some equipment that was on the nightstand near the gurney also thumped because it was swept by her wrist that was reflexively looking for a grip. Then, the girl held the back of her left hand while screaming stifled. There felt a thick liquid coming out from the former infusion needle that was forced. This made Tania really feel pain in the back of her hand.

"Hey! Are you conscious?" Kevin and his two friends quickly entered Tania's room when they heard a loud noise. The narrow-eyed man approached Tania about to check on the condition of the girl entrusted by his best friend. Kevin sighed. The charges don't need to be answered anymore. "Let the glass piece down. Lookie! Your hands are bleeding" said Kevin while trying to grab the shard that Tania still held firmly with both hands.

"Far away!" tania's shriek as Kevin's touch felt over her hand.

"Silence, Tania! We're not bad people. We're not the men you mentioned either."

"Then, who are you? Where'm I?"

"We're friends of Galen. You know him?" ask Kevin.

Tania's eyes blinked. Hearing the name Galen mentioned, a friend of his memory before he was unconscious began to spin. Yes, last time he was with that guy. After that, he doesn't remember anything.

"Where is he?"

"Let the glass piece down first. Dangerous, Tania!" persuade Kevin.

However, Tania insisted on not complying. The trauma of Hardin, Gaston and Julia's treatment is still devastating. He was just trying to keep his life. Even if you have to die, but this is not the time.

"But the bell, Tania!" galen orders in a flat tone. The man approached. Crouching in front of Tania and taking over the sharp shard from the poor girl's hand. At first, there was rejection. However, over time, Tania surrendered as well and handed over her defensive weapons to Galen.

"You're in a safe place. Here, no one will dare to hurt you" Galen said.

"You saved me?"

"Aren't you the one asking?" Galen handed the sharp shard to Kevin.

"Why?"

"Of course it's for the rewards." Galen answered briefly after putting Tania's body on the bed again. "Kev, treat the wound!"

Galen is about to move. However, Tania's hand held her wrist. The bloodstains from the wound on Tania's palm even stuck to Galen's expensive watch. However, the man only gave a glance without protest then looked at Tania's face with frowning brows.

"Why?"

"You agreed to help me?" ask Tania expectantly.

"We'll talk after your condition improves!" galen said as he removed Tania's stranglehold from her wrist.

"But...,"

"Be obedient if you expect help from me, Miss Gregson!" sergeant Galen with a firm tone.

Instantly, Tania fell silent. He did not dare to prevent the young man's move again after receiving enough threats to make him die a step. Yes, in order to avenge Hardin's heartache, he needed a partner like Galen.

"Your order's in that bag, Kev!" galen said before he actually came out.

"Thanks, Bro!" tell Kevin with a smile.

"We just wait outside" said Eugene and Tyler, who chose to follow Galen's steps.

After the three men left, Kevin approached Tania. Intending to treat the blind girl's wounds according to Galen's orders.

"We treat your wounds first!" It was Kevin's voice, accompanied by a touch on Tania's hand.

Finally, Tania complied as Kevin began to clean the wounds on his palms and then wrapped the wound with gauze after previously given medicine so as not to infection. After that, Kevin's infusion hose was put back on and closed with a request for Tania to rest again.

"If you need anything, just call us! Me, Eugene and Tyler stand in front."

"Can I have a glass of water?" ask Tania.

Suddenly, Kevin patted his eel. He even forgot to offer Tania anything even though the girl had been asleep for more than 24 hours.

"Sorry, I forgot!" said Kevin while taking drinking water on a dispenser not far from where he stood.

"Drink!" said Kevin while helping Tania to drink.

"In a few hours, I'll bring you some porridge. You can wait, right?"

Tania nodded while holding her stomach which was already very hungry. He even forgot when the last time his stomach was filled with food.

"May I know where we are and why am I here?"tanya Tania was curious.

"You're in my house. Yesterday, Galen called to have me pick you up at his house immediately. Your condition was unconscious at that time because of the effects of the poison you drank. Fortunately, the poison didn't put you in a life-threatening condition because Galen had already given you first aid before I came."

"He really helped me?" lirih Tania doesn't believe it.

"Why do your questions seem to doubt Galen's treatment?"

Tania shakes. "It's okay. Just a little disbelief, considering our relationship has not been very good."

Kevin only smiled in response before completely leaving Tania alone. Meanwhile, Galen who was in the bathroom was staring at his silver rolex clock which was now dirty due to Tania's blood.
