Let's Peace!

"When I marry you, I promise to be faithful, and will always be there for you at every step," arya said while staring at Lea who was busy eating chips while watching Darrel and Jihan who was cool playing.

"I failed to keep my promise" Arya added. "But once I want to promise and I will try to keep my promise."

"You'll promise when we're officially divorced?" Leah laughed, though the look in her eyes were filling her bitter heart.

"Yes," Arya replied as she turned her gaze to her two children. "Now I promise, I'll be a good father to them even if we're not husband and wife."

"I also promised myself" Lea said with a faint smile. "I'm going to be a better mother, let alone I've robbed one of their happiness by keeping our family apart. So, in the future I'll try to make them happy."

"Do you want us to work together and help each other?" arya asked as she raised her little finger, as if asking Lea to tie a promise with her.

Leah looked at Arya deeply and for quite a while, before she finally raised her little finger and hooked it to Arya's little finger.

Arya's heart flowered as she accepted the offer easily, and Lea threw a sincere smile.

"This time, let's both try to keep our word," Lea asked in a voice that came back choked. She wanted to cry, but Lea couldn't.

Now, Lea no longer had a place to lean. So, he tried hard alone.

"I'm sorry, Lea," said Arya once more as she looked at the sorrow in Leah's eyes. "

"I'm sorry, too" Lea replied sincerely because she couldn't keep her promise not to leave Arya, no matter what. Leah knew she was guilty too. And now that he is trying not to blame Arya as he used to, he is trying to make peace with the situation.
