After quitting a private school where he became one of the honorary teachers, Haris continued his life as a farmer.
Honor, which is only around three hundred thousand per month, is no longer adequate and sufficient to finance his life with his small family.
But the most basic thing as the reason for all the impasse is the attitude and behavior of the leader towards him that is felt good and less when supporting when Haris and his small family are there.
Often he has to be in an atmosphere of dilemma, between having to leave or staying afloat.
"Actually I felt quite sad when I had to leave the profession, even more so where I had served this.
I already have a close relationship emotionally, with my students who to me are like my own children.
The atmosphere of the school that had the method of staying overnight on the spot, or boarding school, had really made the bond that happened between me as a teacher to my students, very close like family.
That's why I've always been deterred from getting out of this place, from finding another job.
That reason also made the mood, where my heart became so heavy to leave the place where I have served for the past few years, even though it is bitter bitter life is very thick and so hard I have to bear and feel here.
But the needs and wholeness of my family today is more urgent, so this requires me to still take the choice out of this place, even though it feels quite heavy.
Very less honor and 24-hour full-time flying hours, really made me unable to take a side income on the outside, to cover the shortage of our family's shopping needs."
Such is the mood of Haris' inner voice and scream while being in a dilemma of his condition.
Sometimes the sense of wanting to leave the place is stronger and dominant, but in other times, it is not uncommon to want to survive and be patient to accept everything, to be a winner in the debate of his heart.
All the dilemmas Haris felt were not something unreasonable.
For money amounting to three hundred thousand a month, Haris had to work with many professions, ranging from ordinary teachers, supervisory teachers who supervise the punishment of students if there are children who do indiscipline, he said, such as violations in the form of skipping school or not entering class, leaving the school complex, etc.
Another profession he had to do was to deliver and take care of correspondence, both to government offices, to other schools, and to other schools, to the home of parents of students or to the office that protects the field of education at the school where he serves.
The burden of other tasks that he carried was as an impromptu procedure, because often Haris was transformed into a collector of tuition from all students.
Then there are also unwritten duties for him, namely as a delivery of sick students to his parents' house, including being a security guard and supervising the school gates and other activities.
For the heart of Haris never complained before, until there was an event that happened to him.
The incident occurred, while at school precisely after payday at school, because his stomach was sick at that time, Haris was forced to go to the river which is a public bath or MCK activity center at his school.
But that day somehow the story, the salary he received fell or drifted away, he did not know clearly.
After tired of searching all day but what was sought was not found, so by gathering all the courage in him, Haris contacted the foundation to ask for help.
After telling him about the unfortunate fate that befell him, he asked for help so that the foundation helped him give a loan, but unfortunately it could not be achieved his desire to bring disappointment.
" My Foundation sir was hit by this har8 disaster, this month's salary money that I just received was lost or scattered somewhere. I've been looking around to where I thought the money was falling, but it still wasn't found, so I intend to borrow it from the foundation.
I promise I'll reimburse the money with a pay cut every month, sir."
"Oh can't, all the money is fitting so and everyone has been divided according to the honorarium of his teaching hours."
But I really don't have any more money sir, how can I and my family survive this one month, while I only work here and the father as the foundation is a protector for us teachers, of course this relationship is like a parent to his son. If not to the Father to whom else do I ask for help.?"
"Yes but there is no more money Mr. Haris, no more money. It was shared so.
"Well, what about my husband and my family next.?"
"I don't even know if I think about it anymore."
With a heart of grief and tightness in the chest Haris went home to his house, but the shadow of his family who will starve if soon there is no solution, he said, moving his heart and footsteps to go toward residential residents outside his school complex, to borrow some money in lieu of his lost salary.
Arriving at the house of one of the residents, after saying his greetings and being invited to enter, Haris still did not say what, but his tears had been spilled.
Seeing this, the residents of the house were astonished so they immediately asked.
"What's up, Mr Haris? why are you crying"
With trembling lips Haris said
"My salary money for this month is gone sir!
I don't know exactly where the disappearance is, I've been searching all day and repeatedly spinning there."
Haris then recounted all the processes and routes of his search trip that day, including his efforts that had repeatedly traced the path of the place he went through a full day to search.
The residents heard and listened to Haris' words carefully,
showing sympathy that appeared on his facial expression.
Haris, who was so devastated that day, also told of the school's refusal to give him assistance in the form of loans.
Then with an attitude that was forced to humble himself, because he was worried that his family did not have food to eat before the next payday, he stated his intention to borrow some money from the residents.
"So if I may ask for help, I want to ask the same father, to lend me some money for some time, which is where the money will be the opposite of me later after the payday sir."
With such a warm smile on his lips, the Old Man he met said
"For a moment, Mr. Haris, I'll take it".
Upon hearing the words of the village's Old Man, Haris felt like he wanted to immediately prostrate, because he was so grateful but he was embarrassed by the owner of the house.
It did not take long for the Old Man to get out of his small house room, so he soon returned to his original sitting position near Haris.
With his hands closed, the Old Man handed over the money, a sum of three hundred and fifty thousand rupiah in a round roll tied with rubber.
Holding Haris hand, the Old Man said
"This is Haris I give yes, not borrow, if you return I will be offended."
Hearing the words of his village's Old Man who was so sincere, Haris' soul was trembling no longer know what to say, other than the words of gratitude he repeatedly said.
Haris did not expect the father who, when viewed from the condition of his house, was actually not so much more established in terms of economics than he was, but had a very extraordinary heart.
"My Lord give me a generous sustenance so that I may return the good of this Father."
Haris is in his heart.
