Arrive at Kasih Bunda orphanage. They were welcomed by Ms. Norma and the children of the orphanage.
The children of the orphanage were excited to see Axelle and Irene coming. They miss their idol very much. Lucky before arriving at the orphanage, they first stop at a mini market and buy a lot of snacks for children.
They were so enthusiastic when Axelle gave two large bags containing the snack to the children. They took her to the table and shared. They both enjoyed the snack.
While Ranti and Olivia were chatting with Ms. Norma, Axelle and Irene chose to sit on a long bench under a shady tree in the courtyard of the home.
"I didn't expect it to turn out that you also lived in this orphanage." Irene started the conversation.
"I just found out too." Axelle was breathing slowly. Then looking. Looking at the beautiful Irene. And always makes his heart flutter.
"When I was a kid, I had a friend. We often sit on this expanse of grass while counting the stars. In the past, this bench did not exist. Sometimes we both lie in the grass staring at the stars. Just like you, he said ... When he grows up, he wants to be like a star. Which always shines bright up there. So that everyone can see it. To let everyone know, he also meant a lot." Irene recalled her childhood memories with a friend who had been separated from her for a long time.
A shadow of his childhood flashed through his mind. After hearing Irene's words. Axelle looked at Irene closely. Highlight his eyes as if he did not want to be sidetracked from Irene's sweet face.
The childhood memories Irene told her about, seemed to remind her of her childhood. Which is not much different from Irene's childhood memories.
The shadow is becoming clearer now. Axelle sharpens memories. Trying to remember his childhood in this orphanage. The same orphanage. Where it grows.
Axelle was stunned. As if. Those memories brought him back to his past momentarily. In her gaze fixed Irene's eyes, as Irene turned her head and returned her gaze.
The mouth is still tightly closed. Only the eyes that looked at each other, were as if speechless. Both Axelle and Irene were drifting and drowning. In the longing lake that emanated from the spotlight of each eye.
Unconsciously, for some reason, his little heart seemed to say, he had known Irene long before. Before they were met by ridiculous situations. Which ultimately makes them bond with each other.
"Irene ..." Axelle was about to say something, obey her little heart.
Irene gave a smile. "Yes ..."
"Could ... You ... You're ad_" Axelle's sentence was cut off. A little girl came to disturb me.
"Sister Irene ..." Call the little boy while running around to Irene and Axelle.
"Hey ... What's up, honey. Hm?" Irene asked as she gently stroked the two cheeks of the little girl.
"Sister Irene still has no chocolate?" The little girl bent her face pouting. Making Irene anxious then pinched gently both cheeks of her puffiness.
"Why? Is it not in you?"
The little girl shook her head as she further blushed her lips. "It's over. But I still want more."
"Yes, try Sister Irene check first. Brother Irene still has chocolate, right?" Then he picked up his little bag lying next to him.
Irene ransacked the contents of her bag. Trying to find something that could comfort the little girl. But the result is nil. There was nothing in the bag but a cell phone, a wallet, a small mirror, lipstick, and a photo. Who accidentally fell out of his bag.
"Unfortunately, Irene didn't have any chocolate. What if tomorrow Brother Irene comes again and brings a lot of chocolate for you. Hm?" While poking the spoiled nose of the little girl.
"Promise?"
"Yes. Promise."
"Asian. I'm going inside first, right?"
Irene reviewed her smile seeing the little girl's behavior. He looked at the little girl's back, which was getting further away. With a smile that never left his face.
While Irene looked at the departure of the little girl. Axelle began to bend over, about to reach for a photo that had fallen from Irene's bag.
Axelle stared at the photo in her hand. Just an old photo, but able to grab his attention that second as well. He was silent and stunned looking at the photo. A second later his gaze rolled on Irene, who was now turning away and returning her gaze.
"Axelle?" Call Irene Irene shiver.
Axelle suddenly nodded. Stare at him without blinking. It definitely made Irene wonder.
"This ..." Axelle thrust the photo at Irene. That greeted a faint smile Irene.
"Ooh ... This is a picture of me as a child." Irene.
"Where did you get this picture from?" Irene asked.
"Fell out of your bag."
"Geez, how could I be so careless? This is a picture of me and my little friend that I told you about." Irene put the photo back in her bag.
"Mrs ... Do you remember me?" Axelle's question forced Irene to raise her gaze. Axelle looked at him with a twitch of his forehead.
"You mean?" Irene asked back.
"You don't recognize me?"
"The little boy who was with you in the photo ..." Axelle paused her sentence. He sighed for a moment.
Irene is still waiting. Waiting for what Axelle wants to say. Honestly, he was curious. And his heart suddenly thumped strangely.
"That's your childhood friend, right?" Ask Axelle again.
Irene nodded. "Yes. Name's Aldo. I can't remember his full name anymore. But I call him Aldo a lot."
"You called him Aldo because you had trouble calling his name right?"
Irene nodded back. "Kok you know?"
"Because that little boy is me." Axelle said.
Irene was stunned. While staring fixed Axelle's eyeball. There was a sense of disbelief, but that was what was clearly heard in his ears.
"I was your childhood friend. Aldo's. Axelle Allardo's." Axelle once again convinced Irene.
"You're kidding me, right?" Irene tried to shake off her nervousness. This feels like a dream.
Oh no!
But this feels like a joke. A joke played by destiny. Two small friends, separated by distance and time, are met by fate in a strange prank. The joke now binds the hearts of both.
Or, could this be called a soul mate?
"Ha hah ..." Irene laughed a little. It was as if he was laughing at fate that had brought them together in a ridiculous way he thought.
"Mrs ..." Call Axelle very softly. Accompanied by his outstretched hand grabbed Irene's fingers into his grasp.
Irene now stared focused on Axelle's eyeballs. Which radiates the confidence and sincerity of his heart. Irene sighed softly. Trying to regulate his racing heartbeat.
"Do you believe in destiny?" Axelle's silly question is topped by a beautiful arch imprinted on Irene's face.
"You believe it or not, you've always given me strength. To survive my life. Do you know why I want to be like a star in the sky?"
"Because you want everyone to see you."
Axelle shook her head slowly. "At that time, when I said that to you, I was adopted. And I'm going to be away from this orphanage. Go away from you. I want to be like a star that shines brightly so that someone can recognize me easily."
Irene focused more and more on exploring the look in Axelle's eyes which now showed her binaries.
"I worked hard being a star. Until I'm at this point now, just so someone can find me. Someone I left behind since childhood. Was ... You."
Irene gasp. His heart rate stopped that very second. Breathing just feels tight. His throat seemed to be stuck, unable to say anymore. His tongue suddenly fell.
"Isn't this what destiny is?" Axelle asked, staring more and more.
"I had an accident while living abroad. Some of my memories are gone. I forgot about my childhood. But I never forget a little girl who always makes me smile. That little girl is the reason I want to be a star. I hope that when he recognizes me, he will come to me. But it turns out, fate brings us together in a unique way." Axelle said with eyes that began to glaze over.
Same thing with Irene. Because the haru feeling slowly began to envelop, his eyes began to glaze over. His vision became blurred, covered by the puddles of water in his eye sinks. In the end, it just spilled out. Without being able to hold back again.
"God granted my prayers. You are the most beautiful gift God has ever sent me." Axelle said softly with an increasingly sad look.
Irene was still silent. With tears flooding his face.
"Now I believe, and I'm very sure. You were created just for me. You are my destiny. You're mine." Axelle's words express all the feelings in the soul.
Now Irene's sobs are starting to sound. He was so moved and touched to hear the expression of Axelle's heart. Now he believes and is convinced, his childhood friend is Axelle. This feeling that had struck his heart. But he tried to evade, because there was no evidence that could convince him at that time.
But now, Axelle himself has admitted it. Why should he doubt.
Because of the reflexes, driven by the feeling of a growing haru, Irene rushed into Axelle's arms. Buried his face deeply in the chest of that field. Crying sobbing pours longing in the chest.
Axelle returned Irene's embrace tightly. Gently peek at the top of his head. With tears slowly coming.
"Axelle, promise me, don't ever leave me again." Pinta Irene all her body soul.
Axelle nodded. While shrinking the nose because of the tears that are getting louder.
"I promise. I will never leave you again. I love you so much." Reply Axelle by tightening her embrace.
While Irene and Axelle getting late in the atmosphere. Across the street, Olivia, Ranti, and Ms. Norma notice both of them. With happy smiles emanating from their faces.
