Chapters 19. Mars and Ayana

"What's up, sir?" Aris asked when she reached Nathan's room.

He remains Nathan's loyal assistant. He devoted himself to helping Nathan manage his company.

"Sit down Ris." Tell him to put down the book he read.

"Good sir." Aris sits on Nathan's soffa workspace.

Nathan stood up from his seat and approached Aris, sitting disoffa.

"How's your daughter doing?" While putting his body there.

"Praise God he's healthy sir." Answer Aris. He smiled remembering the princess.

"Hem, Aris there's something I want to talk to you about." Nathan said as he fixed his half-shifted tie.

Aris's forehead wrinkled "Speaking what Sir?" He asked curious and astonished.

"Hem, I heard Anara asked you to marry Ayana?" Nathan looked at his assistant with both hands folded.

Aris nodded "Yes Sir. My wife wants Ayana to be Anaya's mom." Answer Aris quickly.

"Are you sure you want to marry Ayana?" Ask Nathan

Aris paused for a moment "For Anara, I'm sure Mr." Again Aris replied with a respectful bow.

There were heavy breaths coming from Nathan's mouth. He looked at his assistant. Aris is like her own brother. He did not want his assistant to take the wrong path because it not only harmed others but himself would be harmed.

"Do you really want to grant your wife's request?" Ask Nathan again.

Aris nodded "Yes Sir. I want to grant my wife's last wish." Answer Aris.

Nathan shook his head "There is no other intention than to grant Anara's request? I mean, do you just want to grant her request or do you have feelings for Ayana?" Reciprocity.

"You mean Sir?" Aris doesn't seem to understand Nathan's question.

"Aris, are you sure you want to make Ayana your daughter's new mother just because of Anara's request? You know not if Ayana and Mr Mars love each other? How would Mr Mars feel if you married Ayana?"

"But this is for Anara Tuan." Sahut Aris's.

"I know Aris. I understand your position. But this doesn't have to be granted. You can't sacrifice Ayana just for Anara's sake. Ayana can take care of your daughter without being your wife."

"Are you sure after marrying her you won't fall in love with her? Moreover, Ayana's face is so similar to that of your late wife. The seeds of love will grow if you are often with him. What about Mr Mars?"

"Now I ask in the reverse position. For example, Ayana asks Anara to marry Mr Mars, do you have Aris? Can you get Aris?" Lick Nathan.

Aris remained silent. His tongue was too faint to answer Nathan's question.

"Don't be selfish Aris. You can still find another contact mom for Anaya and not necessarily Ayana. Ayana already has her own heart. You want to marry a girl who has a boyfriend? Aren't you going to hurt when you see Ayana and Mr. Mars making out in front of you, while you're her husband?"

"Do you want to play with marriage by marrying a contract and then getting divorced after the contract is up? Think carefully, Aris. I know you want to grant your wife's last wish, but you can't sacrifice anyone else, especially Ayana. Poor him. He must have been hurt. He must be hurt and Mr. Mars will feel the same way. If the marriage is to happen the three of you will be hurt at the same time."

"Tu-an." Aris looked at Nathan in tears.

"Your daughter will understand if she's an adult." Nathan smiled.

"You can take care of your own daughter without Ayana. You can be happy without a wife. You just accept your daughter and make her the only one in your life."

"Let Mr. Mars and Ayana be happy. Don't bother them. They love each other, you can't separate people who love each other just for the sake of your ego Aris." Nathan patted Aris on the shoulder.

"Don't be afraid. Ayana can still be Anaya's mother without having to be your wife." Smiles

"Thank you, sir, for waking me up. My true master is too selfish. I knew someone would get hurt if I put my own ego at risk. I'm sorry, sir." Aris bowed respectfully, a clear melt escaping in her eyes.

"Don't apologize to me, Aris. Apologize to Mr. Mars and Ayana. Here they are the wounded." Nathan said

"Okay sir thank you. Excuse me, sir." Aris wiped her tears.

Aris came out of Nathan's room. What Nathan said was true, he was too selfish when he did not need to grant his wife's request. He's already hurt Mars and Ayana's feelings. He had forced Ayana to marry him.

'I'm sorry, honey, I can't grant your request. I can't marry Ayana. Ayana loves Mr. Mars. I don't want her heart to hurt by marrying a man she doesn't love like me.' Inner Aris wiped her tears.

Aris is back at her desk. His feelings were relieved by Nathan's advice. At least he's not at war with his own feelings. He almost took possession of others just because of his own ego. Fortunately, he had a Master like Nathan who cared so much for him who always advised him if he took the wrong path.

"Hallo, Mr. Mars, I'd like to meet you and Ayana. I have something to talk to you both about."

After she finished speaking, Aris hung up her phone. The man sighed softly. While his daughter now he entrusted Hellena at Nathan's residence, every afternoon he would pick up his daughter to go home with him.

"Anaya, I'm sorry. I promise to be Father and Mother to you. Growing up healthy, son. We'll be happy, even if we're just the two." Aris rubbed a picture of her daughter inside her phone screen.

"You are the heart of Dad's heart. Don't ever leave me." The clear melt escaped again from his eye patch.

Aris kept her phone. He resumed his work before meeting Mars and Ayana.

"Aris." Nathan came out of his room.

"Yes Sir?" Aris raised her head.

"Let's go home."

"Good sir."

After his children were born, Nathan was always not at home in the office. His feelings always wanted to go home quickly. Because when he came home he was greeted by his favorite wife and children who also seemed to welcome him.

The joy of being a father cannot be expressed in words. A smile always appeared on his handsome face. I never thought he would be the father of four twins at once.

Nathan took part in caring for his four children. Moreover, Nandira who does not want to use the services of Baby Sitter so Nathan must intervene to help his wife.
