Survive Though Injured
Chapter 44 - Disagree

After delivering Tria home, Arsen returned to his home. As soon as he arrived, his mother had blocked him in front of the main door.

"Mama!"

"Where have you been?"

"Just get Tria home, Ma." Arsen went inside the house, about to step into his room.

"Lately you've been seeing her a lot" Maya said.

"Ma, I'm just helping her." Arsen looked at her and looked at her mother.

"Help fill the emptiness of his heart, you mean so!" satirize Maya with ketus.

"Mom why, anyway?"

"Mama doesn't like you being close to her much less having feelings for her" Maya replies.

"Ma, what if I like him."

"She's a bad woman, Sen. He slandered and even expelled Azzam and his children from the house. She doesn't deserve you, especially now that she's a widow!"

"Ma, what if Tria is a widow? He has changed now, not as he once was. Everyone must have made a mistake" Arsen said.

"But Mama still doesn't like it. Mama didn't want it when you married her to experience the same thing!"

"Ma, Tria's Om Ivan's daughter. I owe my father a debt of gratitude" said Arsen.

"But Ivan is dead. And his daughter was different from his father."

Arsen took a breath.

"Sway him!"

"I can't, Ma. I loved her from before she knew her ex-husband."

"Arsen, don't be blinded by love. Lita, her mother Azzam told her all about her former daughter-in-law's treatment. Mama just heard it while continuing to beristighfar!"

"Ma, don't judge a person by his past but look at his future. I'm sure Tria must have turned into a more mature and gentle woman."

"Why are you so hard to advise?"

"Ma, I'm sorry. Not to argue but I do love him" said Arsen.

"Remember, Sen. Mama would never agree you marry her!" Maya then passed.

-

An hour later, Arsen came back out of his room.

"Where else are you going?"

"I want to hang out with my friends, Ma."

"Don't you see Tria?"

"No, Ma."

"Good, if you can you don't have to see him again. Like no other woman is better than him."

"Ma, I don't want to argue. I'm in a hurry, Assalamualaikum!"

"Goddessalam!"

Arsen rode his car to a cafe.

Two of his friends were waiting for him to throw smiles and jokes.

Arsen sat down and ordered a cup of milk coffee.

"So I went to your office but your secretary said you came out again" said Arsen's fat and glasses friend Tiko.

"Two days ago I went to your office, too, but you weren't in the room" said Arsen's athletic friend Alex.

"I'm out, there's business with a woman" Arsen said honestly.

"Women? You don't usually deal with women" Tiko said.

"Yes, I did put my heart on him a long time ago."

"Well, so when are you going to inaugurate it" Alex said.

"We don't have an official relationship yet."

"Why not?" ask Alex.

"I haven't told her and my mom doesn't approve if I approach her."

"Well, why?" ask Tiko.

"Because of the past she made my mother not like her."

"You'd better listen to Aunt Maya's words" Alex said.

"This is my chance to get close to him, Lex."

"But Aunt Maya doesn't approve of you" said Tiko.

"Mama just looks at her past, in terms of dress she's changed."

"In that case, you have to try hard to convince Aunt Maya that your chosen woman is better" said Alex.

"Yes." Yeah."

The next day, in the afternoon. Tria after work stopped by Dimas and Alya's house.

Tria knocked on the door and said her greetings, entering the house and greeting her two nephews.

"Aante!" Elisha greeted him cheerfully.

"Hey pretty girl, where's your mama?" ask Tria.

"Mom again in the kitchen, Auntie."

Alya came from the kitchen, "Tria, what are you doing here?"

"There's nothing, brother."

"I'm making a cake, do you want to?" Alya offers her homemade putu ayu cake.

"By, Brother."

Tria tasted a piece of cake at the dinner table.

"You don't go home first?"

"No, Brother. Incidentally, there was a meeting with a client at a restaurant at the end of this road. Yes, I've stopped by," he said.

"Oh so," said Alya.

"Yes, Brother. Didn't Dimas come home from the office?"

"Not yet, maybe in an hour. Usually it's like that" Alya replied.

"Oh."

"Say Arsen, you went to Azzam's house yesterday."

"Yes, Brother. I want to make peace with my heart and Mas Azzam."

"Thank God then."

"I want to meet Nia and Dya, it seems like Mas Azzam has not completely forgiven me."

"Later I'll talk to Azzam, you take it easy" said Alya.

"Thank you, Brother."

"Together, by the way how is your relationship with Arsen?"

"Me and Arsen have nothing to do, just friends."

"But why does my feeling say that Arsen likes you" Alya smiled.

"Sir Alya this can be, we're just friends no more."

"If more is okay, brother is happy if you are in a serious relationship."

"Sister, I'm not ready to get married yet."

Alya smiled again, "Don't be forced, if your heart has been opened it would want to get married soon."

"Yes, Brother."

An hour at Alya's house, shortly afterwards Dimas came home from work.

"Tria, are you here?" Dimas looked astonished. "It's been a while?" Further asked.

"It's been an hour, brother."

"We had dinner together, yeah!" bring Dimas.

"By, Brother."

"Mama hasn't come home from Aunt Sysi's?" ask Dimas.

"Not yet, Brother."

"You sleep here, let Elisha have his dance partner" Dimas said.

Alya and Tria heard him laugh, Elisha is indeed a hobby of berias.

"I don't bring clothes, after all, tomorrow morning I have to go out of town" said Tria.

"There's work, huh?" ask Dimas.

"Yes, Brother."

"Who are you going there with?" ask Dimas again.

"I drive myself, Brother."

"Why not use a driver?" ask Alya.

"The office driver's sick again, brother. There's no way he's gonna have to take me."

"How about Mas Dimas' office driver?" alya proposal.

"No need, brother. The journey there is not too far."

"If you can't drive by yourself, let me ask the driver."

"Yes, Brother. I'll call you later" said Tria.

After dinner with the Dimas family, Tria returns home.

Heading home, Tria stopped by a minimarket to buy drinks and snacks.

After 15 minutes, he finished shopping. Tria opens the car door, but a white car stops behind and blocks her vehicle.

A middle-aged woman came down from the luxury vehicle as Tria was about to reprimand the car owner.

"Tria Dipa is Ivan Dipa Ardjaya's daughter" Maya said haughtily.

"Where does Auntie know my name?"

"You don't need to know, I just want to remind you of the coincidence that we met here" Maya replied.

Tria frowned, not understanding what the woman before her said.

"I want to warn you, stay away from Arsen!"

"Tante, Arsen's Mama?"

"Yes, I don't like you. So, please stay away from him!"

"Tante, maybe misunderstood. Arsen and I are just friends" Tria said.

"Oh, it turns out that you didn't admit to having a relationship with my son?"

"I don't have any more relationships, Auntie." Obviously Tria was polite.

"It's a pity that Arsen loves you, but you yourself don't admit it!"

"I am confused by Auntie's words" said Tria.

"Arsen loves you but I don't like you, so before you return his feelings please stay away from him!" Maya said firmly, she then stepped into her car.

Tria was still unmoved, in her heart she asked, "Arsen loves me?"
