Episode 39: A little bit distracted

They both got out of the car. Actually Nadia was so awkward that somehow someone must have recognized her. Because before her she worked in hotels as a janitor.

"Good morning sir" said the staff.

"Morning.!" Alan cold. They just got to the hotel door. Nadia did not want to look at the people around her. He chose not to see anyone. Because of nervousness he tried to hook alan's hand.

"Ehem" nadia cleared her throat slowly.

Alan stared at his locked hand by Nadia's hand. Eventually, the two of them went inside.

He is now in a hall at the hotel. All the important people were already there. Including his father and his eyes.

"Sit down" alan told nadia.

He sat down next to Alan. There were some eyes staring at him. Nadia is not concerned.

Acarapun is starting. Some people gave a welcome. And there came a time when his father, the Lord Prabu, stood before everyone. He said a few sentences. And said that the leadership of the Dirgantara hotel will turn to his only son, Alan Dirgantara, who will replace his duties as General Manager.

Nadia walked from the toilet.

"Is that really nadia? The janitor who just worked at this hotel a month ago?" Said the female employee who was talking to her friend.

They chatted while walking in the hallway of the hotel.

"Yes, I didn't see it wrong. And according to Tedi it's nadia. Because she was also present at their wedding" one officer replied.

"What are you doing here? Why don't you go inside?" He asked when he was in front of Nadia.

"That's okay, I just came in. Is alan finished?"

"Have..! But I still have some more business, you better wait inside"

"I'll just go home to the apartment. I haven't cleaned the apartment yet. I'll get the bag inside" Nadia said.

Then he went in and took his bag. After that he said goodbye to Alan. Alan gripped coldly.

Alan looked at the door of his room.

"Surely the girl was very offended by the janitor's remark earlier" murmured alan.

Just now she was going to greet her friend because today nadia just came back to the hotel after her wedding with alan.

But he heard something that hurt his heart.

"What makes you sad nadia. Are you not married without love. And your marriage is just a contract." Lirih.

Once at the apartment Nadia immediately changed clothes and began her activities. Clean the entire corner of the apartment until there is no dust attached. After that, she continued cooking.

His phone rang while stirring food in the pan. Nadia took her cell phone in her pants pocket.

He opened a message. Apparently it was a notification that his salary had entered this month. Yups. nadia is no longer working in a hotel. But alan gave him a monthly salary but a larger nominal salary at the hotel.

This time he didn't look so happy. Maybe because something was troubling her mind. Nadia only thought she would visit her parents as well as naufal.

Alan's night just got home. He entered the apartment. Didn't see Nadia's nose there. The spacious and luxurious apartment was very quiet.

"Where is he?" Alan searched the whole apartment. Nor did he find alan finally approaching Nadia's room. He held the door handle locked.

"Has she slept?"

"Nadia..! Are you inside?"

"What's up, sir?" Ask nadia lethargic.

Alan was also confused as to what he should answer? Why is he knocking on Nadia's room door just to make sure if the girl is inside or not.

"Akh..have you slept? I just wanted to make sure you were inside. Have you prepared the night?"

"Dining is ready at the dinner table. And the whole apartment I cleaned. I've washed and thrown away the trash. Is there anything else you want to ask?" Nadia asked coldly.

"No. Good then."

"When I'm going inside again." Nadia was about to close the door to her room but alan prevented her.

"Akh. Are you not eating?"

"I've eaten. I just want to sleep" Nadia closed her bedroom door and locked it again.
