Surrender.

"Dad?"

Kris who was about to open the room door immediately looked for the source of the sound and looked in astonishment at Theo. His stepson came closer after a few days of silence.

"There's something I want to say" Theo said again.

Kris was silent expressionlessly, but even so could guess what Theo was going to say.

"All right, we're sitting." Kris headed to the living room and sat on the sofa, as did Theo.

Silent moment. Lamat Kris looked at Theo who was sitting upright in front of him. Now Kris just realized, that Theo is big. Even his posture was perfect. No longer Theo snot boy who used to be very enthusiastic to ask for a walk.

Kris exhaled a rough breath. Seeing Theo made him remember Marwa again. And it's stifling, the feeling is getting less and less.

"Dad?"

"All right, Theo."

Theo. Not even talking has been cut down firmly.

"You want to get engaged, don't you?" Kris looked seriously and was replied to a slow nod by Theo.

"Alright, Daddy's going to kabulin. But later, after Daddy's graduation envelope can."

Well, the constant sparkling Theo's eyes and the gaze was like a needle that stuck right on Kris' heart. Pain, twitching.

"Yes, Daddy went to the room first. Take a break." After saying that Kris got up from the sofa, then headed to the room and locked it. Then put the laptop bag on the table. Without opening the shirt the man immediately slashed roughly into the bed. Plunking the body itself until it bounces repeatedly.

Kris blinked, stared at the frame of his marriage with Marwa at a glance, then closed his eyes with his left arm. The man continued to exhale a long breath that was getting longer and more often.

"I think this is a reply because I intend to forget Marwa," murmured Kris, then took a pillow and covered her face.

Alin also returned the words with a smile, after that looked at the back of the man who was none other than the husband. The back was slowly lost in the swallow turn of the cafeteria. They are in one of the malls in Jakarta.

Now Alin's eyes were fixed on the friend in front of him. Smart but silly, cowardly friend. Friends who do not dare to step because they think too much about things.

"Kris."

"Huh?"

"I'm aware you're not excited at all. You mind going out with me to Julio?" Alin.

"It's not that, Alin. I just have a few thoughts. But its ok. No problem. I also need some entertainment so take your invitation."

"Really?" Alin smiled ridiculously. "No problem but his face has a lot of problems. Let's go tell."

Kris was silent and chose to ignore. Only a long breath was the response.

"Hey, Chris. Its nothing. We're best friends. Companions. What's wrong with sharing?" Alin insisted, but Kris remained silent. The woman who was two months pregnant frowned in wonder when Kris mende legitimately longer.

"Is this because of Theo?" terka Alin, though he knows that what Kris is thinking right now is not Theo.

"No, Theo's fine. And I've always said he's fine. Don'worry. I can take care of it."

"Yes, I'm sure of it. And what's not okay, you must be alone." Alin is becoming.

Kris also snorted, then sipped black coffee in front. His gaze was flat while staring at Alin.

"Kris, being selfish once in a lifetime is okay. You are not an angel, you are not a god. You are a human who has a taste. Why bother with so many things? Why do you feel like others care?"

Kris remained silent because he knew where Alin was going. He chose to turn his face in the other direction, seeing the visitors passing by around there.

"Kris, listen to me, listen to me and follow my advice. Not because I'm smarter than you or because I'm more experienced than you. Nope. I have less experience, but I know exactly what I want and what I don't want. Life is not that complicated, really. You horrified me once, as a friend, as a person who knew you for a long time, let me express my opinion, pursue him defend him, try to get his heart without thinking of anything."
