Chenle briefly worried about Caramel after the girl found out about his late wife Melisa.

To be honest Chenle was unwilling to hide the fact about Melisa, it was just that her status with Caramel at the moment made Chenle think of keeping Caramel feeling at bay.

4 Years ago after the departure of his wife Chenle was completely destroyed. The soft-hearted and friendly Chenle turned into a cold and often moody figure. She was depressed and had been unwilling to take care of Yue as a baby.

2 Months of Caramel work, Chenle only realized that Caramel's face had a resemblance to Melisa, and at that time Chenle also gave her a special call. 'Mel' was the short word she used to call Melisa back then, and now that name was also used for Caramel. It felt very familiar and Chenle felt the emptiness of her heart slowly fill up again.

Whether it was a coincidence or what, Chenyue who had a cold heart seemed to have also received the presence of Caramel. Though previously he always refused whenever Chenle in a match with other women.

Even the boy immediately called her 'mama' every time he met Caramel.

The presence of Caramel slowly makes Chenle feel comfortable, although Melisa has not moved from her heart but Chenle like seeing the figure of Melisa in Caramel. Chenle knew they were different people and Chenle was unwilling to deceive herself with it. Chenle will always try to see Caramel as Caramel and not Melisa.

"Mels... I'm happy because I found the right person who can look after and love Yue just as much as you love her. I hope you're happy there too." 

That was Yang Chenle saying as she stared at the photo of the late Melisa before she had a fever at night.

In her dreams she meets Melisa, Chenle hugs her and sleeps on her lap until Chenle subconsciously mutters Melisa's name in front of Caramel.

The man was sorry. She was worried that she would hurt Caramel. To be honest Chenle was also still confused about her feelings. Does he really love Caramel or does he love the figure of Melisa in Caramel?

The man nodded slowly. She tries to convince herself as well as her feelings that those feelings are real for Caramel. Melisa's gone, Chenle has to learn to let go from now on.

The man had just woken up, he turned his body to the side and began to moody when he did not find Caramel in his bed.

Chenle started to get up and sit with a feeling of misgivings. The man came out of the room to look for his wife.

Chenle breathed a sigh of relief as her pupils caught the presence of Caramel in her kitchen. The girl was cooking with her back to Chenle.

Chenle walked over without a sound and hugged Caramel from behind.

"You surprised me. " Caramel jumped and reflexes turned.

"Why not sleep?"

"I'm hungry." Answer the honest Caramel.

"At 2am?"

Caramel could only nod, but she was also confused as to why she was hungry at 2am when she used to skip dinner.

No other conversation after that. Caramel was still focused with ramen popping around in the pot while Chenle hugged her from behind.

"Sorry." Chenle muttered suddenly.

"For what?"

"I shouldn't have mentioned another woman's name in front of you. You must be hurt."

Caramel smiled faintly and then shook her head.

Somehow Caramel spoke as if Chenle had 2 wives now.

" It still can't be. You must be hurt, right? You are jealous."

There was a soft tone in Chenle's Sentence that made Karamel forcibly take off the man's embrace and put on a sulking face, but the stubborn Chenle hugged him back tightly.

"Mails.."

"Hmm??"

"Don't stay with me and Yue ya."

Caramel's eyes suddenly heated up with tears that began to gather in her eye sockets. The girl nodded weakly even though the doubts in her could not be relieved yet.

Caramel asked Chenle to step aside as she was about to move her homemade ramen into the bowl. They sat next to each other on a fur carpet and enjoyed a bowl of ramen in front of the television.

"Tell me about Melisa." Caramel. Chenle looked at him sanctioned.

"Ga wants to."

"Why?"

"You'll be jealous."

Chenle's words had a point but Karamel did not accept that fact.

The girl finally asked me something else.

"Chenle... Do you really love me?"

Chenle hurriedly nodded. Hidden doubts.

"Of course."

"If Melisa were alive, who would you choose? Me or Melisa?"

It's a trick question, Chenle knows it. If she chose Melisa then Caramel would sulk, but if she chose Caramel the girl would definitely not believe her.

Chenle finally sighed then looked at Karamel with a playful look.

"If two could be why one." The answer.

Caramel reflex hit Chenle's arm.

"Basically a man wants to have many women."

Chenle chuckled then hugged Caramel's stomach and leaned her head on the girl's shoulder.

"Eat him don't be weird. Melisa is my past but you are now my future....."

Chenle remained silent for a while and then added...

"...and Yue."
