SUDDENLY USTADZAH

SUDDENLY USTADZAH
heart to heart

Aqeela, a fourteen-year-old girl, has been studying for a year and a half at a boarding school in Kediri. Actually studying in pesantren is not his desire, but the desire of his father. Aqeela's father, Mr. Syarief Abdillah who at that time was so afraid if his favorite daughter was too free to mingle. So on his initiative he registered Aqeela to the pesantren.

And since the beginning of living in the pesantren until now Aqeela has not been able to sincerely accept fully. He still complains often. There is always something he complains about. Starting from the limited way to communicate, the effort to find information, news to tired.

It is undeniable that living in a pesantren is not the same as living in your own home. Every day every hour every minute even every second must comply with the schedule that has been prepared by the pesantren leadership. Watching television at least once a week. Out for shopping purposes is also allowed once every week. Especially cell phones, there is no space that allows students to carry them. Though at home, Aqeela can at any time and at any time out of the house and watch television even the newest mobile phone is available. Without any prohibition from anyone or anywhere. At least if he is late to go home mom or dad who will reprimand him.

Aqeela came out of her room. He just changed his costume. Wearing his favorite black pants combined with a yellow T-shirt motif black polkadot long sleeves plus a yellow veil in line with the color of the shirt he wore.

“ Mom, dad, Qeela out for a while ya.” Pamit Aqeela to her parents.

“ Where to go, Qeel?” Ask mom

“ Follow karate training for a while. Aqeela has been training. Stiff body Aqeela.” Answer Aqeela

“ quick home, yes. Abis praying magrib later father, mother wants to convey something.” Said Father.

“ Okay. Assalamu’alaikum.” Pamit Aqeela kissed her mother's father's hand and rushed out.

Perhaps this is also one of the reasons Aqeela is not at home in Pesantren. There is no karate for women.

And one more advantage Aqeela, sengambeknya if you want to go out of the house still ask permission from the old man.

Aqeela was not long. Always keep promises. The character that has been formed since before entering the boarding school, even though an only child does not mean anything I want. Promises must be kept.

After the Maghrib prayer, as promised by his father and mother. They invited Aqeela to talk about the turmoil of her heart.

“Qee, father ama I have had a discussion about your wishes.” Mom took a breath for a moment. Father and Aqeela listened quietly.

“Qee, God willing we will not discourage you. But, you also have to promise to fulfill our wishes well.” Continue mother.

“God willing Mother.” Aqeela replied, although in fact the mother's statement should not need to be answered.

“Qee, Father and Mother will soon take you home again to Surabaya but on condition...”.

“Kok use terms?” Cut Aqeela down quickly before Mom completes her speech.

“ Yes so that you are more enthusiastic about learning. Dengerin. Mom and dad will pick you up soon as long as you also immediately memorize your Al-Qur’an lessons in pesantren.” Continue mother

“ That's not it. Early school should also be completed quickly. The sooner you finish the sooner Father and Mother pick you up from Pesantren.” I added mother's words.

“No bids nee, Yah?” aqeela tried to bid for her father's request.

“no, no. How's it?deal?” said father.

“OK. Deal.” Sahut Aqeela with a little forced.

Two days later Aqeela was back in Pesantren. This time he promised not to complain. In order to immediately return to Surabaya and his promise to the parents. The sooner he completed the lessons at the boarding school, the sooner he would return home.
