Stiff Silence

"Finally done too!" Bram sighed with relief when he was done preparing himself to leave together with his wife to the restaurant where the restaurant was eager to be visited by his wife.

"For the restaurant, I have suffered many misfortunes!" murmured Bram immediately recalled the incident some time ago.

"Akh!" Bram suddenly just screamed loudly enough when he saw his wife instead standing in front of the door staring at him very sharply.

"Sa—Honey, I'm ready. Come on, go now!" Bram really looked so nervous, he was afraid that his wife would still be angry with him. Then both of his eyes looked towards the two eyelids of Serena and it turned out that it was true, his wife had just cried.

"Darling, why are you lying on the bed? Don't we both want to go to the restaurant you want?"

"I'm sleepy and want to sleep, Mom. So don't bother me!"

"Looks like he's still mad at me? What am I supposed to do now?" murmured Bram in his confused heart. Then he slowly approached Serena who was currently in a position to turn her back, but a few seconds later Bram was silent stiff when he heard his wife even sleep snoring quite loudly.

"Is he really sleepy?" muttered Bram who did not believe in the attitude of his wife.

"Darling, you don't pretend to sleep like this. I know you're mad at me, right?" said Bram tried to persuade his wife to stop angry with him but Bram did not get any response from Serena, instead he heard the sound of his wife's snoring is getting so loud.

"Akh!" Again Bram shouted loudly enough, but this time not because he was surprised but his face was kicked by Serena in a state of sleep.

"When did he sleep? Even to the point of snoring beyond the sound of the ship's trumpet!" murmured Bram in his heart while stroking his sore cheek. When Serena's feet want to float towards her face, Bram quickly moves away from his wife and goes out to see Juan asking for an explanation for why his wife suddenly went to bed and did not go to the restaurant. Arriving in the living room, Bram sees Juan enjoying a coffee made by the maid in the house.

"His restaurant today happened to be closed so he could not come and he also said that he was very sleepy due to staying up late and woke up early so that his sleep was reduced. So from there he better sleep alone," explained Juan at length.

"Is that the story? So now he's really sleeping."

"Bram, what's wrong with your face? Why does it look so inert?"

"I accidentally hit the bathroom door" Bram told a lie, he certainly would not tell the ridiculous incident and would obviously make him feel embarrassed.

"This is a drink for you. It just so happened that my father-in-law didn't drink coffee this morning because he left for the office early in the morning to solve the problem."

"All right, I'll drink it. What's the problem in the office?"

"The secretary he received working in his office instead removed the files that were so important to that office!" obviously Juan.

"Why is her secretary so careless?"

"Let's know, the father-in-law who certainly won't let the matter pass and he'll obviously solve it soon."
