Story of Maung Kulon

Story of Maung Kulon
A Valuable Lesson

"Nah sukma, saketi, now Cakra Buana will stay here for some time. Be good friends with him. Invite him to go to the forest to hunt," Ki Wayang told his two pet maung.

Without repeating twice, the two maungs came directly to Cakra Buana. Inviting the young man all white hunting in the forest.

"Eyang, I'll go first" said Cakra Buana.

Together with his new friends, Cakra Buana immediately went to find hunted animals to eat them. The forest is so vast.

There are many towering teak trees. There are also jackfruit trees, banyan, and many others.

It seems like this forest is rarely touched by human hands, so the situation there is still very natural. Forced Cakra Buana must make a way by cutting grass or other wild plants that block the road.

Because the condition is still very awake, it does not need to take long to get hunted animals. Up ahead, about ten spears away, both Cakra Buana and the two maung tails saw a deer that was quite large.

The three sneak around and look for a suitable location to catch the deer. Cakra Buana had intended to go down directly, but he was immediately prevented by maung sukma. It was as if he wanted to give an example of how to hunt the right one.

Maung sukma then walked closer to the deer slowly and without making a sound, after the distance was quite close, suddenly he jumped and immediately bit the deer's neck.

Anyone knows, if it has been bitten by maung, then do not expect to be released again. After the deer was killed, Cakra Buana then approached the maung sukma and brought the results of his hunt to the place of Ki Wayang.

After arriving, Cakra Buana immediately skinned the deer and then he roasted it with spices that were available. Everything is part, so even though the menu is simple, the delicious taste increases several times because of eating it simultaneously.

"Cakra, for now you rest first. In three days we will start training. Now you are free to go anywhere during this forest to just get acquainted with nature," said Ki Wayang Rupa Sukma Saketi after finishing eating roasted deer.

"Good eye. Then, I have permission to leave for a while," Cakra Buana said as he stood up.

After getting permission, he immediately went to explore his new home.

Cakra Buana goes around. It turns out that it is true said the teacher, the place holds its own beauty. Not only the forest, it turns out there is also a waterfall that is almost fifteen spears high.

The water is so clear. It even feels very cold, besides that, there are many fish and shrimp that live in the river.

To the right of the forest, there is a beach. The roar of the waves crashing into the rock sounded extremely loud. The waves were very violent, so it was only natural that no fisherman would dare to fish there.

Cakra Buana had sat on a rock on the edge of a cliff to enjoy the beauty of nature that God presents. As far as the eye could see, the blue ocean was vast.

The waves continued to sound along with the breeze of the very cold sea.

How wonderful God's creation is.

All that man needs is provided by the Creator.

After being satisfied to see the majesty of God the creator of the universe, Cakra Buana was immediately back in place. The sun was already emitting reddish rays to the earth. The birds returned to their homes with happy hearts.

Cakra Buana had already arrived at his new residence, when it arrived, it was already late at night. It looks Ki Wayang is doing a seminary and guarded by two pets.

Cakra Buana then entered and sat on a black stone. He did not dare to disturb his teacher. The all-white youth was just daydreaming, but somehow daydreaming what. Perhaps daydream of his run aground love.

As powerful as humans are, they still can't beat love. Love is amazing, it cannot be seen. Not even shaped at all, but why can almost all humans be enslaved by the name of love? Isn't this ridiculous?

But that is the power of God. It is one of the greatest gifts God has given. Because with love, man can know who he is. With love, people can know who God is.

"How are you done walking around?" tanya Ki Wayang Rupa Sukma Saketi.

"Eyang already. It's a beautiful sight here" said Cakra Buana admiring what he had witnessed.

"That's all the power of Sang Hyang Widhi my grandson. There are still so many great things about God that you have not seen. It is even more beautiful than this all. It remains the only thing that must take care of all the beauty that God has brought,"

"Murid listened to the teacher's eyes,"

"Well, can I ask you a question?"

"Of course, please …"

"Why does everyone always choose a place that is quiet and away from the crowd if they want to get closer to the almighty?" ask Cakra Buana.

"A good question. Like my grandson, when someone is in silence and solitude, sometimes that person will know who he really is. For in that silence man will be fully man. Unlike if in a crowded life, humans only claim to be humans. But it is not necessarily. After all, the temptation to worldly affairs was immense. Almost everyone is enslaved by the world. Enslaved by lust, they forget who he is and who his god is. How many people forget the creator because of worldly affairs? So much so. Therefore, those who decide to leave the hustle and bustle of worldly life, prefer quiet places such as forests and mountains, and so on" said Ki Wayang Explains.

"But the teacher's eyes, aren't forests and mountains also like wild animals?"

"Rubber. But sometimes, living with nature and animals is better than living side by side with humans,"

Hearing this, Cakra Buana was shocked as well. How can it be like that? Are animals dangerous too?

"But eyang .. aren't animals also very dangerous?" tanya Cakra Buana was filled with astonishment.

"Yes, but don't make my granddaughter's mistake. Humans can be more cruel than animals. Try to notice, how many humans kill each other with other humans just because of trivial problems? Even humans can kill each other just to satisfy their own desires," explained Ki Wayang.

Inevitably, Cakra Buana must admit the truth of all the words of his teacher. Because that's the fact that happened from before until now. It can't be denied anymore.

After all, Cakra Buana should also be grateful that she got one of the valuable lessons about life. But of course, he also had to break some figurative words in all of those sayings.
