"Eh, yes. Thank you, ma'am, sorry to bother."

The woman left while Altair was still stunned in her place.

With his fingertips, Altair then tapped on the phone screen and then picked a number.

"Hello, Fan... Yes, sorry. sorry! I'm going there now."

Altair left the house.

"Well, you crazy! Want an interview with the chairman of the foundation even late!" nagel Fanni. "Sir Edgar is waiting to know!"

"Sori, sori, I have important business earlier," replied Altair calmly.

"What's more important than inte-sssssssssst!" Altair immediately asked Fami to be quiet.

"Udah, no," interrupted Altair while laughing softly.

"Where is Mr Edgar now?" her question is still calm.

Fanni sighed in annoyance. The two met a month ago at one of the city's cafes.

They studied music together in Boston, Berklee College of Music.

Altair only returned a year after Fanni returned to Indonesia, and his best friend helped him find a job.

It just so happened that the music school Fanni was working at required additional teaching staff, so she recommended Altair, and the boy's proposal turned out to be accepted.

That day Altair will meet with the Foundation Chair as the final procedure of the recruitment process.

"In his room. Sana buruan. We'll see you in the interview. I'll finish the job for a minute."

Altair nodded. "okay."

Altair then went to Mr. Edgar's room on the second floor.

"Good day, I want to meet Mr. Edgar Posthumously," he said politely to the secretary who had previously appeared busy talking on the phone.

"Excuse me, where did you come from, sir?"

"I'm Renof, the new teacher. Mr. Rian called me to meet this afternoon."

Altair nodded politely. "Thank you."

he then walked down the hallway to the door that the secretary intended.

"Sir Renof, right?" greet Mr. Edgar when Altair enters.

"Please sit down" he said, pointing to the bench before him.

"Thank you, sir. Sorry I'm late. There was a sudden affair," he said, not feeling good.

"Okay, it's okay. Originally when teaching later events like this do not repeat, Mr. Renof."

"Yes, sir, sorry again." Altair said, feeling bad because on the first day it was too late like this.

"We'll just start right away then. Earlier, call me father, Renof, or-"

"Altair, Sir. From childhood I was used to being called by my middle name." Answer her.

Mr. Edgar also checked the Altair file biodata while nodding.

"OK.." he muttered, seriously checking the file once again.

"Based on this file, your achievements both academically and practically in the music world are quite impressive. Have you ever taught before?" Ask part of her brief interview.

"If officially, not yet, sir. But if you give tutoring to some of my friend's nieces during my master's college, it's been quite often." Answer Altair if there is any.

"OKAY. In an institute like this is not too different the process. There is a curriculum, that's all that distinguishes. Have you received an e-mail containing a copy of the contract?" ask her again.

"Already, Sir. And I've read it all." Answer Altair.

"Is anything unclear or inappropriate? We can talk about that here now." Ask Mr. Edgar.

Altair laughed softly. "No, Sir. Neither my duties nor my rights as a teacher here, everything is appropriate."

"Okay, then please have this checked once more before you sign it." Mr. Edgar presented the original contract sheet to Altair.

"You and Ms. Fanni are the youngest teachers here. The other teachers are on average over 35 years old." Mr. Edgar began to talk informally with Altair.

“Does pak Altair have anything else to like besides music?”
