A few days after that..

Leni has never heard the conversation of her parents related to her marriage or even asked how her relationship with the man developed.

He also tried to accept the fact that he and Excell were not a match and would slowly forget his feelings for the man, although heavy but he was sure if it was something good for himself.

"okay.. Let's move on !" His determination was to open his heart to another man. Someone who will make him forget about Excell.

That Sunday morning, Leni woke up excitedly. He planned to spend this holiday by taking a walk to the mall or going to the beach. He immediately cleaned himself up and after being ready with his casual suit, he headed to Nayla's room to take the girl.

But a call diverted him.

"Leni, let's get down breakfast together !" Call mama Delia.

Leni went down the stairs to the dining table, where Nayla was looking at her strangely.

"Len, your wedding date has been set, 3 more weeks !" Mama Delia.

The speech immediately stopped Leni's hand that was about to scoop her fried rice, she turned to look at mama Delia with a gaping face.

"Eh, my marriage is the same as who !"

"Yes same Excellent, same who else !"

"But ma.......!"

"But what ?"

"I mean in a hurry !"

"Faster is better and tonight the family of Excell will come to do your engagement !"

Hearing that Leni glared her eyes in disbelief. He turned to look at Nayla who just stared grimacing at him, Leni had told him all about the speech of Excell including Leni's intention to forget her feelings for Excell.

The two girls glare at each other, Leni again wants to reply to Tasya's words but Nayla holds him back, coding if they are now the material of attention makes Leni succumb.

Leni and Nayla grabbed each other's paperbags and passed from there. Upon entering the car, suddenly a meaningful smile fell on Leni's lips.

"I'm better than him !" His whisper to Nayla which initially made the girl confused but the next second he shook his head.

In the evening, Leni stared at her reflection in the mirror, now she has changed 180° from usual, now looks very beautiful with the polish of expert hand makeup. But a smile looks at him, contemplating his fate that will lead a new life with a man who does not love him.

"Len, let's get down. The Excell Family is near !" Nayla tilts her head. Leni nodded and followed Nayla down.

"You are so beautiful, dear !" Mama Delia was amazed to see Leni's simple but very elegant appearance with a makeup polish that exuded a beautiful herself.

The mother and son argue over Leni's concept of marriage when the sound of a car entering the yard.

Papa and mama turned their heads and went to greet his guests, while Leni just fell silent waiting for the family of Excell to enter the house.

"Geez, you're so beautiful baby !" Mama Evelin said amazed by the appearance of the bright but elegant Leni.

"Thank you Auntie !" Leni smiled shyly let alone all of the Excell family looking at her in admiration.

Excellent did not blink an instant to see the prospective fiancee that made his feelings not careless.

"Come sit down !" Papa Amir's words allow guests to sit on a sofa that has been rearranged to fit in many people.

Leni tried to ease her nervousness as she sat down right next to Excell. He tried to neutralize his heartbeat by keeping his head down.

And now it's Leni's turn to pin the other ring on Excell's finger. "May their relationship last until the wedding day and until they are old like us !" Mama Delia.

"Amen !" Welcoming everyone made Leni smile wryly, she slightly glanced towards the loyal Excell flat-faced.

"Then, let's enjoy the dish !" Papa Amir said seeing the waiters were ready to arrange many delicious foods at the dining table

The parents enjoyed their dinner with small talk about the concept of their second marriage.

After dinner, Leni and Excell head to the back garden near the pool. The parents asked them to get to know each other.

Both of them sat on the edge of the pool with a view of the night sky studded with many stars.

"I thought our wedding plans were off, why did we suddenly get engaged ?" Leni's question broke the silence between them.

"Have you told your papa mama ?" Excellent behind the question.

"Sorry brother, I don't dare argue with papa's mom. So this cancellation I'm waiting for from Excell's brother who canceled !" Leni's reply made Excell turn to her and look at the girl's serious face.

"So ?" Ask Leni again.

"I can't fight papa's mama anymore. Moreover, papa, he is very fierceiiiiiii trus if his eyes get angry like he wants to come out !" Clearly Excell with an anxious expression made Leni laugh.

Excell remembers being so upset when he expressed his desire to cancel his wedding plans but the old man instead threatened to fire him from the company, would evict him from the house and remove his name from the inheritance list. Papa Rio threatened with visible veins on his neck made Excell frightened also saw him mimic the face of his creepy father plus his threat made him finally comply even with a very upset heart.

Excellent glanced at Leni who was still laughing, staring fixedly at the girl while wondering what special this girl was until both parents insisted on wanting her as a daughter-in-law.

Indeed he admitted this girl is beautiful and even tonight looks amazing make him momentarily forget Tasya.
