Stepfather Candidate
New Neighbor

Looking at the expanse of beautiful scenery, and still naturally smiling Daisy took her breath deeply feeling calm.

" May we get through our days here happily" said Daisy stroking her stomach.

"ohh, that's him taking care of this house." said the village chief.

A young man passed by.

"Son Tio, meet your new neighbor. Her name is Daisy." Tio and Daisy shook hands while smiling.

"This Daisy, again pregnant, please help well. Tell Rika's mother, let your mother also help" said ma'am kades.

"Good ma'am, welcome Ma'am Daisy. May you be in this village."

"It looks like you're the same age. How old is Tio now?" ask mr. Kades.

"26 years sir, 27“ road replied Tio.

" means we're the same age. Just call Daisy." Daisy said.

Then Mr. Kades and Ms. Kades were alone.

"This is all his stuff?" ask Tio.

Daisy nodded, her luggage only one suitcase.

"In the absence of brooms and other equipment. If you want to borrow it at home. Every Saturday we go to the market in the city, we can just nitip. But inside it is clean. Every day I clean it up." said Tio.

"Thank you" Daisy said.

Tio helps Daisy bring her stuff into the house after which she leaves.

Some of his next door neighbors, delivering food to eat, and getting acquainted with Daisy. Although feeling awkward, but Daisy really feels the warmth of her neighbors.

There was already cooking equipment in the house. All the contents are complete, because the average owner left him to return to the village.

"Sister Tito is right, the people here are very attentive. No wonder Tito's sister is also very considerate." Daisy's inner.

When the day begins at night. Daisy began to feel lonely greeting her.The neighbors were quiet and entered her house around 8 pm.

Daryn, she misses him so much. Wanted to be in her warm embrace. Missing Naza who came to sleep next to him when feeling lonely.

Daisy cried herself to sleep.

In the morning, he woke up and opened the door. All the neighbors were busy with their vegetable and fruit gardens.

"Tio, if I want to buy groceries where." asked Daisy who saw Tio just from the back garden of her house.

"take aja. If making consumption we are welcome to take from neighbors. What do you want vegetables? Let me quote in my garden."

"Sawi, onions and chili are enough." said Daisy.

"Want no fish? Only fish should be bought in the T-junction, where there is a stall." Tio bargained.

Daisy nodded, and Tio delivered her to the stall, she was greeted kindly by the people in the stall.

After cooking, Daisy invites Tio to eat.

"Where is your mother?" ask Daisy.

"still sleeping, as it usually comes home in the middle of the night. My mother worked at a stall near the stop. So, midnight just came home." explained Tio.

Everyone around her house was very friendly.

"do you know what the name of this village means?"tanya Tio sipped the tea prepared by Daisy.

"What does that mean?" ask Daisy to be curious.

"we have a new neighbor turns out now "Tio's mother who came out of her house greeted Daisy and Tio with a state of hair that is still disheveled .

I could only silently look at her mother's extremely messy appearance ." Can't it trim his hair before it comes out ? "

" Ah already sugar no one will see mother" said Ibu Rika while tidying her hair in a state of annoyance .

After that Mother Rica approached Daisy and watched her face closely ." What girl like you can live in this village? " said the woman with a smile towards Daisy .

" like the name of his village I came here to hide " replied Daisy jokingly.

After introducing themselves to each other then chatting for a while and then Tio returned to her work as well as Mother Rika who returned to her room to sleep again .

A few days of staying in the house, Daisy feels calm, but also feels longing and guilt for Naza. He once promised Naza that he would not leave Naza like Alea left him.

Although busy himself with gardening and raising some chickens, which was not easy. And mostly Tio's help.

She still misses her son and ex-husband.

And he decided to write a letter to Naza. Every Saturday, Daisy hitchhikes with Tio to the city.

They parted at the city stop and settled their respective affairs, and met again in the afternoon to return to the village.

Daisy accidentally searches for a remote post office so that her residence is not known by Daryn. He was hurt, and angry at Daryn. But, she also did not stop loving and missing Daryn.

Moreover, her pregnancy greatly affected her feelings. His sense of longing deepened, sometimes inciting him to return.

But, that intention he always mengantungkan considering that the place could not be for him anymore.

Several months passed, Tio always accompanied Daisy at every stage. Even the doctor where she examined her womb thought that Tio was her husband.

Tio was very attentive to him.

The dim lights of every house become Daisy's friend every night. While everyone was asleep, she was still late in her grief missing the people she loved.

"Not slept yet?" tio asked out to say hello to Daisy.

Daisy nodded smilingly, and invited Tio to sit down.

"Still missing your ex-husband? And your kid?" ask Tio and sit on the porch with Daisy.

"I'll probably miss them all the time. And will not be able to stop. I always imagined how happy they would be when I saw my belly grow, imagining they would always be next to me waiting for this baby to be born" Daisy said.

"He's moving" Daisy smiled.

"Do you also want to meet and miss Papa and your brother?" inner Daisy.

Tio directly touched Daisy's stomach. "yes, right. Waaaah.. It's amazing." said Tio laughing, making Daisy a bit surprised and smiling.

Seeing that Tio was very happy, he imagined that Daryn and Naza would definitely be happier. Without realizing it, her tears flowed.

Tio, then looked towards the crying Daisy.

"why don't you call them once in a while? After all, you always send letters to your daughter. Maybe your ex-husband is expecting news from you too" Tio said.

"Where do you know? Did I ever tell you?"

daisy asked confusedly, and wiped her tears. Because he doesn't remember telling anyone about the letter he sent to Naza.

"Maybe, did I hear wrong?" tio pretended not to know.

"Then I go home first. Hopefully he can get out safely. Don't stay outside too long, it's cold now." Tio smilingly looks into Daisy's stomach and returns to her home. So does Daisy.
