After the morning prayer, Naina tried to routine running to just burn calories. He wants to open a new chapter in his life.
"Why, Mom?" naina asked when she saw her mother coming and leaned against the door. Naina herself was stretching before running.
"No papa," replied Linda, She looked sad. After all, this was the first morning when he was away from his eldest daughter.
"I'm leaving first, Mom."
"Hm, be careful."
"I'm going to jog, Mom. Not to war. Smile dikit dong, do not be stiff that way," ledek Naina managed to make a smile knot on the face of Miss Linda.
"Assalamualaikum, ma'am."
"Waallaikumussalam." Linda replied as she looked at Naina's back, which began to move away from the yard.
Naina ran alone through the thick of the dew in the morning. Throw away the old habit of always coiling with a blanket when cold air greets her skin.
"Naaina!" The call of someone with a heavy voice made Naina turn her head. He stopped his run so that the man could align his steps with him.
"Good morning, Mr. Arga," said Naina slightly bowed.
"Morning, Na," replied Arga. He stopped right in front of Naina, wiping away the sweat that flooded her forehead with the back of a hand. Occasionally his chest went up and down as it exhaled.
"The run is far, yes, sir. Get to this complex?" ask Naina wonder. All he knew was that Arga lived far away from his village.
"Don't call me, sir. Just call a name, if it's out of the office. I'm only a boss in the office."
Naina was a little awkward in responding to her superior's request. Even though Arga was right, he was only a superior if inside the office.
"I call, Mas, just yeah, it looks like Mr. Arga is much older than me."
The young man in front of Naina frowned hearing his words that said old. Then grieve.
"Does my face look old in your eyes?" asked Arga with a waist-toused. There has never been a woman who has rejected her charms so far. Arga becomes a little offended by Naina.
"My question has not been answered, sir. How did it get here?"
"This is your father's street that forbids me from being here?"
Now it was Naina's turn to frown. Suddenly Arga spoke in a sharp tone. Same with the ketususnya head of the marketing division when he found it came late.
"That's a shame," Naina muttered. Arga who could still hear him directed a glance at the bowed girl.
"Sorry," said Arga, then set his eyes on the trees as his eyes clashed with Naina who looked up.
Naina was astonished by Arga's apology. Naina is usually forced to apologize. Even for the trivial. Up ...
"No fever" Naina said after putting the back of her hand on Arga's forehead. Just contact the hand immediately brushed off Arga.
"You dare touch me, Naina?" His eyes were glaring, almost his eyeballs were coming out. Naina was only a whimper after realizing her sassness.
"Sorry," said Arga again, he forgot to keep Naina's mood. This is why Arga ran away so early with Naina. He saw Naina passing in front of his rented house from yesterday afternoon.
"Let's continue running," Arga asked before Naina thought about the change in her emotions.
Didn't Naina think about her superior's labile level? Of course he wondered, even very surprised to see Arga this early run with him and even talk to him.
"How did the design progress I requested?" In between their runs Arga re-opened the conversation.
"Sorry, Sir. I haven't been able to do it yet. But soon I will be executed," said Naina even promised. Last night Naina was in a mess after getting a call from Ivan.
"So you wanted to call me, mom, right. How come sir again?"
"Sorry sir, uh Mas," said Naina as if an apology had been stuck in her mouth when she was with Arga.
The two continued running without any further conversation. Just busy breathing each. Until finally stopped in front of porridge stalls Ahmad sir.
"Don't" Arga forced her to even pull Naina's hand and led her into the stall without feeling awkward, even though she was angry when Naina touched her forehead.
"Two yes, sir," pinta Arga on Ahmad sir. His hand was still holding Naina, leading her to the bench seat in the corner of the shop.
"Ready Mas, eat here right?"
"Yes, sir," said Arga quickly.
"Sir, I ...." Naina does not continue her sentence after looking into the bead of Arga's eyes that seem to beg her to accompany her meal.
"You why? Don't like chicken porridge? Want to find another breakfast menu?" ask Arga enthusiastically.
"Mbak Naina used to eat porridge here, Mas." Mr. Ahmad interrupted.
Actually, Naina does not want to say she does not like chicken porridge, but says she is on a diet program. But, yeah, that's it. Arga's good again. Naina thought after that.
"You've been thinking, haven't you, about your cut?"
"It." Naina nodded. "I'll follow Mr. Arga's advice, say-"
"Sir, again?" Arga cuts off Naina's speech.
"Why the hell, sir. I had to change the call to my father. I've been used to calling, sir, this past year." Naina protests because her mouth feels stiff to call Arga with another name even outside the office.
Arga was astonished, he himself did not know his specific purpose of asking Naina to call him by any mention other than sir. At first he just wanted Naina to feel comfortable talking to him even outside of working hours.
"Whatever, you," said Arga.
For Naina, the word up to means being sulky. Arga requires him to call with another name.
"Yes, Mas. I will continue to work and my request for leave will be canceled" Naina said gently. Secretly Arga pulled the tip of her lips a little without Naina even realizing it by herself.
"Two bowls of special porridge, make a special person," continued Ahmad while delivering the porridge to the table Arga and Naina.
"What special you mean, sir. Is it from the past porridge made by Mr Ahmad like this?" Naina was enthusiastic after seeing the same porridge apparition as usual.
"Specialty for being eaten with loved ones."
"Yourself."
Mr. Ahmad's answer made Arga who began to feed the porridge to his mouth choked. Naina immediately poured water into the glass and then thrust on Arga.
"Slow down" said Naina.
Mr. Ahmad grinned while scratching his head which suddenly itched. Seeing two human children who are considerate of each other like a pair of lovers.
"I pray that you will last, Ms. Naina."
Naina widened her eyes, while Arga clenched her hands. He did not accept being prayed that way. Arga can still find other beautiful girls. Not amen, said Arga grimly in his heart.
"Mbak Naina mah pinter looking for a girlfriend. This one is even more handsome than the previous one," he said as he scuttled towards the porridge cart ahead. Without him realizing there are two creatures that become clumsy because of it.
"Sir, he is not my girlfriend, please ask the angel of prayer pending not to reach the sky" whispered Naina to Mr. Ahmad. He approached Mr. Ahmad to the front pretending to add crackers.
"Why if the contents of his prayer are corrected, Ma'am?"
"What?"
"May you be."
Eh, even more so the people.
SERIATE....
