Standing Man's

Standing Man's
School

On a clear morning there was a man named Park Jihoon feeling his heart pounding as he stepped his feet through the impossibly large gates of the True Middle School. The fresh morning air and the bright blue sky became a contrast to his nervous feelings. He was a transfer student who had just arrived at this school, and everything felt so foreign.

This is no ordinary school. A strange system prevailed in it. Jihoon had heard stories about it before, but now, he had to face it himself. In the True Middle School, the weak were easy targets for the "rulers." Whoever is considered weak will be the target of the bully, while the strong will be in power.

Approaching the main entrance, Jihoon felt a sharp look from some of the students standing there. They watched him with a look of disdain. Jihoon tried not to show his fear, but his heart thumped even tighter when one of them, a big young man in a black leather jacket, approached him.

"You're new, aren't you?" said the young man while grinning. "What name, move?"

Jihoon gulped for a moment before replying in a steady voice, "Yes, I'm Park Jihoon, the transfer student from Seoul."

The big young man laughed loudly, inviting the laughter of those around him. "So Jihoon, you know what's going on here, right? Here, the weak must obey the strong. Our school rules."

Jihoon felt puzzled, but he would not let his fear creep into his face. "What do you mean?"

The big young man approached closer and lowered his voice, "You'll find out soon enough. I hope you're not too weak."

With that, the young man left, leaving Jihoon with a question swirling inside his head. What did he experience at this school? And how will he survive in this messy world?

Jihoon feels that his new journey at True High School will be full of challenges and mysteries yet to be revealed. He must immediately understand the rules of the game in this school if he wants to protect himself and maybe, one day, change the prevailing system.

After his first meeting with the big young man at the entrance, Jihoon felt depressed. He let out a long sigh as he stepped deeper into the spacious school corridor. Although he had changed schools several times before, True High School felt different. The tense atmosphere and the power system that existed here made him feel like he was in an entirely different world.

While walking through the corridor, Jihoon saw many students gathered in small groups. They talk out loud and sometimes laugh out loud. Jihoon knew that being in a new school was always difficult, but this was a completely different challenge. Here, he had to pay attention to his every action and words.

Then, he saw a student sitting alone on a bench in the corner of the corridor. His dark brown eyes looked worried, and he seemed to be busy with books scattered around him. Jihoon approached the girl carefully.

"Excuse me," Jihoon said politely. "Do you know where room 203 is?"

Jihoon nodded, thanked the girl, and continued on his way to her classroom. Over the next few days, Jihoon tried to follow the unwritten rules in this school. He tried not to attract anyone's attention and spoke as best he could with other students. However, he also realized that many students were trying to show his dominance, especially towards those who were considered weak.

One day, while Jihoon was in the cafeteria, he saw a group of students who had gang-raped around another student. They seem to be demanding money from students who are victims. Jihoon felt angry and wanted to do something, but he was still not sure what he should do. He was looking for ways to help without getting too prominent.

Just then, a long-haired girl with bangs covering part of her face approached Jihoon. "You saw what was going on, didn't you?" ask her in a soft voice.

Jihoon nodded. "Yes, but I don't know what to do."

The girl smiled thinly. "I know how you feel. Don't worry, I'll help you." Without telling Jihoon further, the girl stepped towards the group of students who were being intruded, with firm steps.

He spoke sternly to the students, reminding them of the rules in this school and the consequences if they continue to do evil. Jihoon noticed that the faces of the annoying students turned anxious. They eventually release the victimized student and escape.

The girl again approached Jihoon with a friendly smile. "I'm Yoojin. I see you're trying to adapt here. Don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it."

Jihoon felt relieved and grateful to Yoojin. They become close friends after the incident and Yoojin helps Jihoon understand more about the dynamics at True High School. He also told Jihoon about the various characters and powers that exist in this school.

In the next few weeks, Jihoon became increasingly aware of the power that existed in this school. There were some small groups that had great influence, and they harnessed their power to dominate the other students. However, Jihoon also began to realize that there were some other students who were dissatisfied with this system.

With Yoojin's help, Jihoon begins to understand that in order to change the prevailing system, they need to have the courage to stand up against injustice. But the question is, how can they do it without revealing their identity? Jihoon was still not ready to face all the risks that might arise if he stood out too much.

Meanwhile, Jihoon's courage is tested when he sees a classmate named Minho being bullied by one of the dominant groups in the school. Minho is a quiet student and does not like to attract attention. Jihoon felt that he had to do something.

Together with Yoojin and a few other students who were dissatisfied with this system, Jihoon planned an action to help Minho. They know that they must fight injustice despite the great risks.

Thus begins a journey that will change the destiny of the True High School. Jihoon and his friends must bravely stand up as opponents of this unjust system, even if it means they have to hide their identity and become unexpected heroes in this enigmatic world.
