Edwin's Decision

Aluv nodded and smiled as he got an invitation from his mother-in-law.

"Yes, Aunt. It means Aluv, Mam-Mama." Aluv answered nervously.

"Sister Aluv don't be afraid, Mama's very nice. Don't hesitate to call Mama, because Brother is already part of our family." Kenaya said along with him, Aluv himself smiled hearing his sister-in-law speak.

After getting an invitation from Mother-in-law and husband, Aluv entered the house of the Galeyandra family.

On his way home, Aluv was silent. Between confusion and not knowing how.

Edwin who almost forgot, he stopped his steps before releasing his shoes under the stairs.

"I almost forgot." Edwin said after removing his shoes and socks.

"What's up, kid? why don't you take your wife into your room?"

Sahut his mother and asked because suddenly indifferent to his wife and seemed not to pay attention to the existence of the wife.

"Yes, I want to talk about something to everyone in the house. Before prejudice against me, I will explain. I don't care, it's a right or wrong decision. But I'm sure, if my decision is correct." Said Edwin, the mother, father, sister, and also the wife was confused to digest it.

"What do you want to say to us, son?" ask the curious mother.

"This means. I'll never have one room with Aluv."

"Not one room? what does that mean, son?"

Not yet continued his sentence, the mother immediately snatched the words from her son.

"Yes Edwin, what do you mean?"

The shocked father, he chimed in.

For Aluv does not care if he will not be in one room with her husband, at least it has been made his wife was very grateful.

Still, Aluv again thought when the child he was born later would not be recognized or considered there by her husband.

Of course it would be hard to accept a child who is not his own flesh and blood. More so the results outside marriage, would be a tough decision to admit his son.

Edwin took a slow breath, then threw it roughly in any direction.

With resignation, Aluv listened to her husband speak. Besides, the mother-in-law held her daughter-in-law's hand. Afraid that his son would speak ill of his son-in-law.

"Sorry before, but this was my decision before Aluv became my wife." Edwin.

Hopefully, what he will say will be accepted by both his parents and his own wife. No matter to Edwin if he will be called a husband who does not know himself though, he remains in principle that will not be contested, whatever the reason.

The father, mother, wife, and sister, all still focused on hearing the narration from Edwin.

Edwin continued his words again.

"I will never sleep and live in a single room with Aluv, this is my decision that will not falter. Not out of disgust, no. I'll be in the same room with her after Aluv gives birth to her son." Edwin said bluntly.

"Why wait for childbirth? these two of you are legal husband and wife, there is no obstacle for you to sleep in one room and one bed."

The mother again asked because the words from her son did not make sense at all.

So does Mr. Typhoon who is like his wife who feels strange with the answer from his son.

Aluv himself did not comment at all, he was only a loyal listener. Someone who wants to take responsibility is very grateful, Aluv thought.
