Episode 19 The Depth of the Maze

Felicia a full day walked past the fourth maze. The people who live in the whole village are minotaurs. Old, young, and mature. Their age may be much older. They are kind and like to help the hard. Felicia smiled cheerfully when she stopped by to meet food and eat at a minotaur shop.

The panorama of the village is so great and very thick with its traditionalism. In Ares' analysis, about a thousand more minotaur populations are here. Centaurs only counted in the hundreds. Minotaurs seem more powerful than centaurs. However, they coexisted peacefully.

This fourth maze was very crowded. And the majority of minotaurs are armed.

Felicia also bought some equipment for self-protection such as knives and daggers. Some medicinal ingredients. Ares bought magic potions in a shop.

Felicia and Ares continued to read the lotus groove until they reached the fifth maze which was only separated by a wide door. Minotaurs are free to enter through that door. While walking down the fifth maze, Alice felt a little tired and persuaded Jawhead to stop for a while at a minotaur-style teahouse.

“Ares, I'm tired. We should take a break. Maybe an hour,” Felicia said whining to Ares.

“Alright,” says Ares.

Ares knew he had to take care of Felicia's health. It had been about twelve more hours they had not rested sleeping since entering the maze. Ares felt guilty. However, when he saw Felicia's burning spirit, he himself could not bear to do so.

In the tavern, Felicia was side by side with a small minotaur. Wearing a black robe with a hood that was worn to cover his face.

“Felicia, are you thirsty?” Ask Ares.

“Ya,”

Ares went to the buyer's table to get a glass of water. Felicia was staring at the person beside her. Like something weird.

“Your name is Felicia, right? Have you ever regretted anything?” Asked the black-robed figure beside him.

Felicia's surprised. A mysterious person beside him knew his name and asked a strange thing. Regretting something? Yeah, ever. When his house was attacked by special forces and he could not do anything to see his parents in pain.

“Entertainment. Because I'm weak,” Felicia said slowly.

“So, so. Then I'll allow you to enter the sixth maze. Goodbye,” Said the mysterious figure.

“Who are you?” Felicia asked curiously.

“Who am I, isn't the hang thing important. You'll find out later,” said the mysterious figure who left immediately when Ares returned to bring Felicia a glass of water.

After drinking a glass of water and eating a few cups of dry bread at the teahouse, Felicia fell asleep on Ares' shoulder. The sleepiness can no longer be held. Finally, Ares chose to be in the tavern for two more hours. Then, come out with Felicia on her back.

Ares is determined to carry Felicia to the next maze.

Worry enveloped Ares and Felicia. They're like they're on the sixth maze. They have been deadlocked ten times. Dozens of times hit by maze traps. And circled back to the same point a few times. Felicia was disappointed. It had been two days of them inside the maze of the Zelinekia Labyrinth.

The traps that trapped them were all unmitigated. Starting from the cutting knife, barren ravine, arrow shot, axe swing, stone ball, squeezing wall, foot cutting trap, and fire attack from the maze ceiling.

Felicia never thought this could happen. All of this was truly an ancient maze trap that was extremely deadly. Anyone can be killed easily here. Felicia was getting tired and sad.

What the hell's going on? Why is the maze level here so difficult?  Ares looks tired.

The sword in Ares' hand already looked very dull, as well as the sword in Felicia's hand.

Supplies are almost gone too. Inside the backpack Felicia found only colorful liquid in a small bottle and a Will handgun . All of them were Nero's ingredients. Felicia picked up a green-colored potion that stayed half a bottle. Felicia poured a drop into Ares' body. And a drop to his own body.

The potion was like an energy potion and added to the value of life. They decided to stop walking and rest by leaning against the wall of one side of the maze.

Felicia coughed. His body feels weak. Ares hugged him tightly. Ares uses his own body to warm Felicia's shivering body. They were too exhausted after facing various terrifying traps in this sixth maze. This sixth maze is truly beyond limits.

Felicia now even looks crumpled and seedy. His feet and hands were full of dried wounds. Ares gently stroked Felicia's head. Felicia sleeping.

While Ares' mind is still trying to solve the problem to find the jakan out while solving the sixth maze puzzle. Ares could not linger in a state of rest because a sudden trap attack could come from all directions.

The path of the sixth maze is getting weird. It's like it changes all the time. It was as if the walls were shifting as Ares moved. The candle pendants on each wall of his maze also started to dim. There is no minotaur as in the fourth and fifth mazes.

There was a sound of fighting in the North. Ares hastened his way to the North. There Ares hid behind one of the walls. Ares peeked trying to see the riots that occurred. Ares analyzed the data he saw. The battle was fought between Axdiel and Queen Ajanta and the white knights.

How did they get here?

Axdiel and Thamuz looked overwhelmed. They opened a portal that made all of them along with the Queen and the white knight sucked into it.

Ares ran towards the portal that started to disappear. Be late. The portal disappeared first. Ares analyzes the movement of the portal. The desert. So, they just moved the fight out of the maze.

Wait, it wasn't Axdiel or Thamuz who opened the portal. But someone who is not involved and wants to keep this maze intact.

Ares looked around. The mysterious black-robed figure was there. A figure Ares has never seen. His face was masked with his body full of burn scars. He's human. Definitely not a minotaur.

“Who are you?” Jawhead asked the mysterious figure.

“I Aldous, the strongest keeper of the maze of the Zelinekia Labyrinth,” Said the mysterious figure.

Ares took a step back. The ability of his data reading technology reveals that Aldous is the strongest keeper ever told by Queen Ajanta. Queen Ajanta once told me how powerful an Aldous was.

“Yes, I know. Queen Ajanta has already allowed you to enter. And the other minotaurs. But I won't let you in easily,” Firm Aldous showed a very terrible sharp grin.
